I have spent the better part of the 2010s hunting this truck. I know they have a multitude of social media options to find the trick and plan for where it will be...But why would someone hunt something if they have a tracking device attached to it? Where is the sport in that!? Every flavor on their menu somehow turns a different person into a hunter of doughnuts. Much like the astrological signs, each mini represents people born at different times in the year. Beware them however...treats this delicious can change a person... These sweet rolls of merriment have left an impression on me larger than Moby Dick left on Captain Ahab. My obsession steadily grows the more classic vanilla minis I have! I begin despising regular food and drink on account of it not being Metro Minis. My friends and family notice a change in me as I begin disappearing days or weeks at a time; all on a never ending quest to find and eat more of these fried balls of perfection. I actually once followed this truck for 30 miles on foot just for it to end up at Heard on Hurd near my home in Edmond! I could have just waited at home or checked social media to find out this information but I was too consumed in the hunt! The literal fry cooks working in this truck never make a single mistake. As far as I can tell they were actually put on this earth to fry cake doughnuts into an endless stream of awe. The days in which I can't find the truck feel so empty, so meaningless. I have but one purpose in life...to hunt these doughnuts. I will never yield...until a doctor inevitably tells me to stop eating 36 Metro Minis a day... at that point I'll dial it back to 18 or so...Needless to say I have a plan for the next 40 years of my life! This is where it's at! Just tried their food truck at Heard on Hurd in Edmond! Worth the wait in line and a perfect treat to top off our evening. We were lured in by the fresh smell of freshly baked donuts. You can either order 1/2 dozen or 1 dozen of each of their flavors. We got 6 peaches and cream and 6 Bedrock. The peaches and cream was peach puree and cream cheese driZzled over top. Bedrock consisted of vanilla glaze and fruity pebbles. The Bedrock won this round, but that's not to say that the peaches and cream was bad at all. The donuts melt in your mouth and came out warm. Again, a must try! read more

I had seen several friends eat these and was like 'what's the big deal?'. My daughter and I were at The Energy FC game and the truck was there. She wanted to check them out and got a dozen Oreos. These delicious mini donuts have vanilla icing sprinkled with Fruity Pebbles! These babies will zap you right back to you childhood! I first visited Metro Minis last summer at Blue Garten in OKC. While waiting in line Matt's trailer fell off a block and a few of us were able to get everything fixed up. Matt was so thankful that whenever I stop by he still thanks me for my help almost a year later! I will usually order my daughter a half dozen and another half dozen for myself so that I can sample two different flavors of these miniature bites of heaven. All donuts are made fresh and to order along with made from scratch toppings. Come on seriously? Deserts just do not get better than that. These donuts are bomb! They are fried to order so it's fresh and warm when you get it! I tried the oreo and lemon/blueberry flavors. Out of those two, I liked the oreo better.
