    Seared Thai Coconut Salmon
    Brittany C.

MetroFresh is a fast-casual eatery featuring fresh, healthy, and creative food. It is located in Midtown Promenade, near the Monroe Dr. and 10th Street entrance of Piedmont Park. It is MARTA-accessible via the 809 bus. MetroFresh is very bright and welcoming, with a cute coffee/wine/cocktail bar in the back of the restaurant. I enjoyed the 80s music playing in the background. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to answer questions and offer samples of salads and soups. We ordered Seared Thai Coconut Salmon, Mitchell's Turkey Chili Lunch Special (included cookie and drink), and fruit salad. I sampled the Apricot and Pear Basil Chicken Salad. My salmon was delicious. The protein was cooked to a perfect medium, and the stir-fry vegetables were cooked evenly and remained just firm enough to handle the rich sauce. The sweet chili sauce & coconut milk packed a flavorful punch, and I am looking forward to eating my leftovers. My husband always orders the turkey chili, as it is definitely one of the better ones in Atlanta. It is always well seasoned, with a generous amount of beans and just enough cheese and sour cream for dressing. I appreciated the different fruits in the fruit salad (plums, kiwis, grapes, strawberries, and pineapples). The cookie was good but not as memorable as their brownies. While I appreciated the freshness of the chicken salad, I found it needed salt and diversity of flavors. I look forward to tagging along with my husband for his post-working dinner, as I want to try the smashburger and pork chop. I would also love to visit for brunch.

A good place to eat after doing the Beltline. Service is fast, the place is clean, and the food is fresh. My breakfast burrito was very good with a side of smoked salmon. Tuna and beet salads were tasty. Today, tried Sarah's Special (two eggs and two chicken sausage with house guacamole) which I enjoyed. We also tried the sampler - everything was fresh and tasty including the fruit salad.

My whole group loved each of the dishes we got. The food was a good value, too, with affordable options. I had the biscuit sandwich, with I really liked. Very cheesy! Very centrally located with lots of accessible seating indoors and outdoors.

Vegan Creamy Mushroom Soup and Chicken Bone Broth

Love the freshness of everything. First time coming into this place. I had a bowl of the vegan creamy mushroom soup and a bowl of the bone broth. Both were amazing the creamy mushroom though was not to be played with it made me realized I ate the whole bowl in a matter of scoops. Luckily I wasn't embarrassed since it wasn't that many eyes to catch me eat that soup in the manner I did. I'll be back the coffee is great as well as the tea they have the Ginger Peach was beautiful

And I know that Atlanta has many local businesses to patronize (I've reviewed a whole bunch of 'em). BUT. I was tired & hungry and in search of healthy, filling, reliable, GF food and I was unwilling to go 'round and 'round looking for it. So, Sweetgreen it was. I regret nothing. I am grateful that I didn't befall some of the annoyances other Yelpers write of. Everyone with whom I interacted was kind -- nice, even -- and professional. I took my food to go but had I eaten here, I would have been fine. The space was light, large, clean, and inviting. My food was made well and I got a good return on my financial investment. I went with the ever-popular Harvest Bowl and I was glad I did. I received a huge, well made (and mixed!) bowl of shredded (and massaged -- so it's not tough to chew, eat or digest) kale, wild rice, roasted sweet potatoes, roasted almonds, apples, goat cheese, and a very generous amount of tender roasted chicken (40g of protein!!) all tossed with balsamic vinaigrette. I paired my food with kombucha and leaned into my health kick.* With every bite my hunger lessened and I felt like I was empowering my body. Eating healthy(ish) is always a good choice and Sweetgreen is a reliable source of just that. Again, I am sorry to read that others have had a tough time at this location of late. On the mid-spring day I got food from here, it definitely hit the spot. *Earning the junk food pig out that was to come.

Came to Georgia and tried to order online, my order was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes, when I arrived to the restaurant there was a long line of people waiting for their orders for pick up. My order ended up taking 45 minutes to be ready and I saw people leaving without their orders because of the long wait. The service should definitely be improved, the two people working on the orders were super slow and not kind at all. The restaurant was empty and only Two people ordered in person while I was there, which doesn't explain why the online orders were so slow. The ambiance was ok.

They were decently busy with a few orders before and after me. I got there Notorious bowl w/ chorizo which came out in about 15 minutes. Overall, I was pretty satisfied for it being a vegan place. I would definitely need to try one of their other dishes to see if it's more to my liking. Staff were nice and it's always cool to be in one of these casual and busy cafeteria like environments to people watch while eating. Will try them again!

Please be aware that's it's limited but enough. We came on a Sunday around 7pm. There were a few people there so we instantly got seated and had our choice of where. They do have TVs and the March Madness game was on with a captive audience. We ordered the half chicken with cilantro cream sauce, sweet lime bbq sauce, black beans, birria quesadilla and yuca fries. It was all AMAZING. And our food came out quickly after we ordered, as if they read our mind and knew we were on the way. The chicken was so juicy with flavor and easily fell off the bone. It pairs well with all of the sauces. The yuca fries were a perfect combination of crunch on the outside and soft on the inside covered with chunks of garlic. The yuca fries and cilantro cream are a match made in heaven. The birria quesadilla had juicy beef on the inside but a firm quesadilla to hold it all together, and the consumé dipping sauce was a complimentary addition. The quesadilla was good without it and great with it. The black beans were pretty standard but cooked well with a nice flavor. It was all stellar. I found no fault with anything we ate. Our waiter was attentive and very pleasant. This was a great place to have a great time. Despite the food being so great, it's a casually dining experience.
