    Seared Thai Coconut Salmon

MetroFresh is a fast-casual eatery featuring fresh, healthy, and creative food. It is located in Midtown Promenade, near the Monroe Dr. and 10th Street entrance of Piedmont Park. It is MARTA-accessible via the 809 bus. MetroFresh is very bright and welcoming, with a cute coffee/wine/cocktail bar in the back of the restaurant. I enjoyed the 80s music playing in the background. The staff were extremely friendly and happy to answer questions and offer samples of salads and soups. We ordered Seared Thai Coconut Salmon, Mitchell's Turkey Chili Lunch Special (included cookie and drink), and fruit salad. I sampled the Apricot and Pear Basil Chicken Salad. My salmon was delicious. The protein was cooked to a perfect medium, and the stir-fry vegetables were cooked evenly and remained just firm enough to handle the rich sauce. The sweet chili sauce & coconut milk packed a flavorful punch, and I am looking forward to eating my leftovers. My husband always orders the turkey chili, as it is definitely one of the better ones in Atlanta. It is always well seasoned, with a generous amount of beans and just enough cheese and sour cream for dressing. I appreciated the different fruits in the fruit salad (plums, kiwis, grapes, strawberries, and pineapples). The cookie was good but not as memorable as their brownies. While I appreciated the freshness of the chicken salad, I found it needed salt and diversity of flavors. I look forward to tagging along with my husband for his post-working dinner, as I want to try the smashburger and pork chop. I would also love to visit for brunch.

A good place to eat after doing the Beltline. Service is fast, the place is clean, and the food is fresh. My breakfast burrito was very good with a side of smoked salmon. Tuna and beet salads were tasty. Today, tried Sarah's Special (two eggs and two chicken sausage with house guacamole) which I enjoyed. We also tried the sampler - everything was fresh and tasty including the fruit salad.

My whole group loved each of the dishes we got. The food was a good value, too, with affordable options. I had the biscuit sandwich, with I really liked. Very cheesy! Very centrally located with lots of accessible seating indoors and outdoors.

Love the freshness of everything. First time coming into this place. I had a bowl of the vegan creamy mushroom soup and a bowl of the bone broth. Both were amazing the creamy mushroom though was not to be played with it made me realized I ate the whole bowl in a matter of scoops. Luckily I wasn't embarrassed since it wasn't that many eyes to catch me eat that soup in the manner I did. I'll be back the coffee is great as well as the tea they have the Ginger Peach was beautiful

Metro Fresh is one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, sweet treats, happy hour - they have it all, and all of it is made with love. The servers / chefs are a dedicated team, and even the patrons are regulars, which truly helps it's neighborhood feel. I'm here quite often (sometimes for a quick lunch and other times for coffee / to get some work done). The food is fresh and healthy and the vibes are friendly. Great outdoor seating too! Other tips: -Their dinner menu changes daily and is updated on their website. MF's owner, Mitchell, also updates the site with his "Thought" of the day. It reads like a letter from an old friend. -They have a points system. One point for every $10 purchase; 10 points equal $6 off. -They have karaoke and trivia nights! I have yet to attend either despite how often I frequent MF, but it's on my "to-do-soon" list! -The cookies are SO good. My rec: grab 1 or 3 before you head over to the movie theater next door.

MetroFresh was a quick spot to grab some food. If I lived or worked in the area, this would be a great spot to grab some healthy food for lunch. You can get many options and all are ready to be served other than the entrees. I decided to get the burger at dinner and it was certainly delicious and seemed healthy. I took the burger home and the box had almost no grease in the bottom which I was surprised by.

I've gotten fast food for years here. This was my first time having dinner. My salmon exceeded my expectations. I'll probably go back today.

I know I know I know…read more I know it's a chain. Believe me, I have been on the 'local' train much longer (and much more vocally/visibly) than many others. I get it. And I know that Atlanta has many local businesses to patronize (I've reviewed a whole bunch of 'em). BUT. I was tired & hungry and in search of healthy, filling, reliable, GF food and I was unwilling to go 'round and 'round looking for it. So, Sweetgreen it was. I regret nothing. I am grateful that I didn't befall some of the annoyances other Yelpers write of. Everyone with whom I interacted was kind -- nice, even -- and professional. I took my food to go but had I eaten here, I would have been fine. The space was light, large, clean, and inviting. My food was made well and I got a good return on my financial investment. I went with the ever-popular Harvest Bowl and I was glad I did. I received a huge, well made (and mixed!) bowl of shredded (and massaged -- so it's not tough to chew, eat or digest) kale, wild rice, roasted sweet potatoes, roasted almonds, apples, goat cheese, and a very generous amount of tender roasted chicken (40g of protein!!) all tossed with balsamic vinaigrette. I paired my food with kombucha and leaned into my health kick.* With every bite my hunger lessened and I felt like I was empowering my body. Eating healthy(ish) is always a good choice and Sweetgreen is a reliable source of just that. Again, I am sorry to read that others have had a tough time at this location of late. On the mid-spring day I got food from here, it definitely hit the spot. *Earning the junk food pig out that was to come.

Came to Georgia and tried to order online, my order was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes, when I arrived to the restaurant there was a long line of people waiting for their orders for pick up. My order ended up taking 45 minutes to be ready and I saw people leaving without their orders because of the long wait. The service should definitely be improved, the two people working on the orders were super slow and not kind at all. The restaurant was empty and only Two people ordered in person while I was there, which doesn't explain why the online orders were so slow. The ambiance was ok.

I am blown away with the amazing customer service and food I received at this location…read more I went with the chile lime street corn as my starter and the special, peach sofrito salmon. The street corn tasted very fresh, definitely enjoyed the sauce that came with it and the tortillas that came with it were light and crunchy. Now, the star of the night was the peach sofrito salmon. Refreshing, soft and melted in my mouth. With every bite, I wanted more and more. The peach glaze combined with the seasoning of the salmon was a transformative experience of taste. I left with the lemon chifon pie, and I just need to say I can't recommend this location enough. If you're in the area or down for a quick drive down Atlanta, birdcage should be at the top of your list!

While the kale salad was absolutely incredible and I heard the tacos were too from my friends, the other food was only OK. We all agreed that many things felt like they were lacking in flavor or salt. My biggest issue really is with the sweet potato bravas because two of them were so burnt they almost seemed not edible. We couldn't believe that a restaurant would even serve something like that on a plate. The squash was also pretty awful, and I like squash usually. Sad to say it but we won't be returning here. Too mixed bag of meals and very inconsistent quality.

A great place inside Ponce City Market!…read more The restaurant had casual vibes. I ordered and paid at the counter. I got a mango lassi ($5.99), masala smashed potatoes ($6.99), and chicken tikka roll ($11.99). The food came out FAST. The mango lassi was sweet, creamy, and refreshing. And the potatoes and roll were DELICIOUS. They came out hot and fresh. The potatoes were super crispy and well-seasoned. It was served with this tasty sauce that had a bit of a kick and some sweetness. Every part of the chicken tikka roll was delicious. The chicken was flavorful & tender, the naan was warm & thick & tasty, the green chutney added a nice brightness, and the slaw added a fresh crunch. The roll was served with raita on the side. I absolutely devoured the food, and since I was so hungry, it tasted even better. There is self-serve complimentary water next to the takeout station.

The rest of my group had ordered from another restaurant, so I picked my order up from the counter space. The menu is a good length, sandwiches, salads, sides, sodas, and a couple alcoholic drink options. I had the smashed potatoes, the fish sandwich, and their raspberry/lime soda. Everything was fantastic, very flavorful, ingredients balanced. My niece had not wanted to order as she was unsure about whether she'd like the flavors, and she does not do spicy. She loved everything. The potatoes have a light kick of spice, I would put them in the flavorful category over spicy, Could not be happier with my food hall choice.
