    WARNING!!! Do not rent from this company. I am a 17 year active duty Air Force member who has lived in seven different locations over my career and have never been screwed over so bad as I was by this company. Upon my move out they charged me over $2,000 hours in move-out fees for damages that did not exist. They charged me $700 how to paint the inside of the house when there was no wall damage and almost $600 for carpet cleaning when professional cleaning runs about $240. They charged me $150 for landscaping when the entire front and back yard is nothing but dirt and rocks and there was no weeds as well as the trees and bushes were all trimmed. Further they charged me $231 for handyman services for two shower heads that they installed because the previous ones were bad, water damage that existed when I moved in and had pictures proving it, for 8 9 volt batteries for only 5 fire alarms when all the alarms had brand new batteries installed 2 months prior, and other normal wear and tear that shouldn't be charged. I was out of town for Thanksgiving and missed the 4-day deadline to dispute the charges and now have to either pay the amount to keep them from screwing my credit score which can affect my security clearance or take the risk of having problems at work. They know that in most cases it costs more to hire a lawyer then to pay them so they will screw you when you move out. Look at other reviews and you'll see that this is not the first time, but a standard business practice.

However, from 2021 to 2025 they went through four different managers. I would have one person, everything would seem to be going well and then abruptly they'd tell me someone else was being assigned. In 2025, I was again assigned a new manager, Andrea R. and communication significantly declined in comparison to other property managers I had been assigned. Emails would often go unanswered for long periods of time. Everything fell apart during a tenant move-out at the end of 2025. Before the tenant moved out, I provided the original lease and deposit records to Andrea so there would be no confusion. During the scheduled move-out, the assigned manager was unavailable, and the person who performed the move-out inspection took not one photo. I had to step in myself after tenant departure to take move-out condition photos because Fort Lowell staff didn't do it. The departing tenant was instructed to leave the keys unsecured in the mailbox after 5:30pm, which was very concerning because they didn't set up a lockbox for the tenant to securely leave the keys after the inspection. In addition to all of this, they issued a security deposit refund using rents from another unit to the tenant before fully reviewing damages. Keep in mind I held the deposits, but they did not consult me or provide me with the breakdown and obtain my authorization before refunding the money that I should have provided from the deposit account not use rents from another unit's tenant. To make matters completely insanely worse, the refund included money that had already been returned years earlier to a prior co-tenant! After I began formally requesting proper documentation and correction of the accounting, communication became worse. I sent a written notice under the contract giving them nearly a month to fix the issues. The problems were not fully corrected. After I terminated the agreement with proper 30-day notice, communication completely stopped, they did not follow up with me with requested documentation and stopped responding to my other unit's tenant they were still managing in this timeframe. I have still not received the complete documentation or the remaining funds in my owner account. I also later discovered that another tenant had gone six months without a properly executed lease renewal, and I was never informed. As a landlord, you need clear communication, accurate accounting, and proper handling of deposits. In my experience, those basic protections were not consistently in place. In addition, Fort Lowell's team is extremely unprofessional, completely ignoring clients, being condescending, and just displaying levels of incompetence I didn't know could exist. If you're a property owner, I would not recommend you use Fort Lowell. In fact, RUN!

I was allowed to order a separate appraisal, and when it came back almost $50K higher, they would not recognize it, even though they said I could obtain another appraisal if I wanted to pay for it. When I got their appraisal, I discovered that my Ex Wife had trashed the condo, ripped out carpet and flooring, ceiling tiles, electrical outlets, etc., in order to get the price down so that she could purchase cheap. She also let her son move in with his German Shepard. When I asked that Beth Jo bring the issues to the Judge for resolution, she stated "We do not have the authority to instruct either party to make repairs or for the cost of those repairs to be deducted from one parties sale proceeds", and "Our current order does not provide for the removal of any occupants/pets from the property. Ms. xxxxxxx can you provide the reason for the two declined showings? Should future showings get declined and/or the property not be maintained and clean for all showings, we will bring this matter before the court for further direction" So, in her role as Real Estate Commissioner assigned by the Court to resolve issues, she did nothing to resolve the issues that she was hired to resolve. In addition, the low ball appraisal that she obtained failed to include recent sales with higher values, and when I asked her associate Joey Hasselbring to make sure that the next appraisal included those, his response was "The appraiser will use the comparable properties they see fit". Beth Jo and her staff did nothing to resolve the issues that they were hired to resolve, and in obtaining their low ball appraisal they helped my Ex Wife accomplish her objectives, so I don't see why she is allowed to retain the title of Real Estate Commissioner.

However, the contractors they use for inspectors and home warranty have been nothing but a waste of money, time, and have been frustrating. Pipes are bad in my new home, even though I paid extra to have them scoped and was assured they were good. Same with electric, where there were multiple issues I had to have taken care of. Home warranty group that they use -- First American -- is worthless and basically a scam. If it wasn't for the suboptimal contractors and warranty groups they work with, they would easily get a 5 star. I hope this helps someone who works with them to purchase a home and saves them many, many headaches! And I hope they work with other contractors that are more honest.

When buying she used a lot of creativity and finesse to get the most for my money even with a very reluctant seller. We ran into a seller with multiple open permits from a decade previous, and she got everything straightened out in record time. Another seller wouldn't budge on needed repairs, and she found a creative way to ensure that they had to give a lot of ground. Through it all she is great to deal with. Smart, creative, extremely knowledgeable, and tireless. Made a stressful process a lot easier to go through. Don't get someone who just hangs out a sign.

I, owned my mother's home, but she held the mortgage. When she originally purchased the home, she held mortgage and title. She decided to quit claim the home to me to avoid a lengthy probate process after her death. She decided to leave the state of Arizona, so we sold the home. While working with Clear Title AZ I was told that my quit claim deed cannot be used to convey ownership of the home... EVEN THOUGH it was created by a lawyer and signed by my mother and witness by a notary public. I was told this less than 24 hours from my scheduled closing date! They needed an "affidavit" (in quotes because they would not tell me the actual name of the form or affidavit needed) completed and signed by mother as well as being notarized. She's in CA and I'm in AZ! The affidavit was received and closing went on, 8 days later! During the closing and the signing of the documents my husband (who is not an owner of the home) had to sign (ready for this?) a quit claim deed!! Yes! The exact type of document they said they do not recognize to convey the transfer of owner to a property (mine) is the same document they used for themselves!! I might add that they justified the "cannot use" by telling me it's because so much fraud exists lately with quit claim deeds! So much fraud that they cannot use my quit claim deed but will use their own quit claim deed??? REALLY, Clear Title AZ? Additionally, when I received this news, I, naturally, escalated through the management hierarchy. I got as high as the vice president of escrow administration, Brandi Kirby, and left her three voicemails, one email, and one instant message via the receptionist. I received no return phone call or email from her!! They delayed my closing by more than a week by not contacting me in plenty of time before the original closing date to correct this problem. This is why they are getting a one star rating.
