For the repair of an Everlane pair of leather boots I purchased in 2021, it was $60 for the replacement of the heel and the replacement of the sole (it was so torn up) with a waterproof new sole. I was expecting the sole to look better but not perfect, and for the waterproof sole to look rubbery or more bulky, which I was totally okay with. Instead, the shoes came back looking STUNNING. Not only did the entire shoe look brand new (he shined and cleaned them for me, even though that was not technically included in what I paid for), but the soles were so fancy! The waterproof sole was so well done, it fit in with the look of the shoe so well, and they have been working perfectly (sturdy and in fact, waterproof). I also brought with me a pair of knee high boots that I thrifted-- the soles were entirely ripped off and the bottom of the shoes looked like an absolute mess. He replaced the soles and they looked perfect and I've been wearing them non-stop! Overall, I am really pleased with service, and the shop owner was really friendly and helpful as well. Now i am not going to just give this a great review because the guy is my uncle but he does a great…read morejob. when i was younger he would take me on Saturdays and my job was to dust all the shoes in the stores and sweep... over the years he has dyed, repaired, fixed my jackets, shoes, bags etc.... whenever i am not sure i ask him first... He has been doing this work which he cares so passionately for, for 30+ years... he is a staple to the community around him... sometimes i wonder when i go by the shop how he gets everything done because he is always getting customers come in and out all day... but he gets it all done.. ill admit the first time anyone walks in here they will not know where to look first because he has a lot of "stuff" but he finds a use for it all.. The kitty cat he has in the shop is a sweet heart, she was born without a tail and is about 8/9 years old... he is fair when he gives you a price on the work he does.. because he usually REAL QUALITY materials... real leather, real rubber and it will last... so happy to call this guy my uncle!!

But still asked for payment. If you have been to this store you know that his hands are never clean due to him working which is granted but you CANNOT handle peoples things with dirty hands. OR you could start covering the customers items. When i said something about it he was like "oh that can come off" and started wiping it off but there was one particular black mark that wasn't rubbing off at all. when i asked him about the accommodations for the damage he said it was nothing he can do even though he was the one that damaged it. I cannot return the boot now due to its damage and he refused to accommodate me so i will be forced to go to small claims court. If he couldn't stretch the shoe he could've said that instead of just taking my money & he ruined my shoes and didn't care at all just money Hungry!!!
