Great company with excellent service. They repaired my heater a couple of years ago so when my A/C started having issues I called Metz. Jorge took a look and fixed the immediate problem, but after discussing it I chose to go ahead and replace the whole system with a heat pump. He is very convincing! The install team was awesome and professional. Communication is fantastic and they text photos of who is coming to your house with a little bio of their history with the company. I had a very pleasant experience with the whole Metz team, beginning with Jorge who did a thorough inspection of the unit, I ended up needing a whole new system, A/C unit and furnace which I expected seeing how our system was over 20 years old. On the day of the installation they sent out Ryan, Alex and Junior who did an outstanding job they were very meticulous and explained to me how to use the new thermostat and repeatedly asked me if I had any question's, customer service is very much alive at Metz especially after experiencing other A/C companies and how they just seemed like they wanted to sell me something without even doing any kind of inspection, thanks a million Metz! read more

Not opinion, fact: 1. Worker shows up for estimate on time! 2. Paperwork didn't get submitted, had to call to get that sent to my email. 3. I approve of the contract/proposal 4. I still had to call to schedule 5. Scheduled appointment Metz Air fails to show 6. Call Metz Air on phone they don't have me down on the schedule. Update since last week: Metz owner called and apologized for any inconvenience and really went above and beyond to make up for the confusion. I really felt like they didn't believe I was on the schedule until I received a call from the owner. They wanted to make it right and quite honestly that's the make a good company. I received a revised proposal and a call the next day to reschedule which was the following day! Two very professional guys came and did very good quality work for some repairs and maintenance on some of my AC units. Yes I would use them again quality AC guys are hard to come by! read more

I just had air conditioning system repaired today. Pedro Peralta, field manager, who diagnosed the unit very quickly and showed us what was wrong with our old unit. He fixed it and there was no hard sell, which I appreciated it. He also showed us how to clean our old units and made recommendations. Since our air conditioner is old, over 20 years. He recommended that it does need to be replaced since it is so old and some the components will cost more. This gives us time to save of for replacing our old system. read more

BEWARE CONSUMER!!!!! EXCELLENT SERVICES BUT VERY POOR PRODUCT I purchased the full heating/cooling system in July 2020 and 4 months later the heater is not working. A part was replaced 2 days ago and today we woke up with 67 degrees in the house while the heater is set at 73 degrees and just blowing unheated air. My unit is only 4 months old. How could this be? If Trane is truly an excellent system vs. Lennox system, why is this happening? With a disabled husband in my home, it is not helping that the product METZ sells is DEFECTIVE. I am afraid what could happen in the future when all the warranties end. Review Update: Shall I be happy that Lennox has problem too with their system? I woke up this morning, turned on the heater and it is not working again. This is the 3rd time in a month I have to call Metz regarding the heating problem - 2 last month and today. For a more than $8k system it is cery disappointing. I had a Payne system before with a 33 yr old condenser and never had a problem. The problem with Metz Trane system came up within 6 months of intallation. Metz is selling a crap product. I am so unhappy. read more

So I'm updating my review for Metz AC in Chino. After having the technician Jorge come out and leaving with a bad taste in our mouth and huge disappointment. I wrote a review. Not expecting a call from anyone. But the following morning John the owner called super nice man bent over backwards trying to help and make it right. They offered extra service at no charge and. We also refunded our $88 service call. Nathan came out super nice young man and very pleasant and customer service was Tip Top. Thanks again and customer service is 100%. read more

Our digital wifi thermostat went blank in the middle of a warm night so the next day, I went and bought a replacement and installed it and still it did not turn on. I tested the wire's and found that I had no power to the unit. I called an electrician who came out and said it's part of the HVAC system and to call an HVAC service. We have used Metz Air in the past and had them install a new unit earlier in the year and their service was excellent. I gave them a call and set up an appointment that was a few days later. The day before the service call, the thermostat magically turned back on. I decided to keep my appointment to get to the bottom of this once and for all. Technicians Danny and Mateo arrived on time and they immediately knew what the problem was with my thermostat. Apparently there is a safety feature that when there is a clog in the drain line it will trip a sensor to shut power off to the thermostat so water won't continue to flow and create water damage after backing up. Danny and Mateo worked their way down the line until they found a pretty significant clog and cleared it. They told me that when the water slowly drains through the small opening left around the clog, the thermostat will reengage until it fills up with water again. Danny and Mateo were super friendly, they definitely knew their business and handled the problem while teaching me something about my system. There is a reason that Metz Air is number one in the inland valley and I have experienced that reason a few times now. I'm grateful for their service. read more

A friend referred them to us, as we were looking to remove and replace our airduct. We had other company (lets call them company AB) did AC tuned up and as expected they told us to replace several parts of our hvac system and also suggested us to remove our old airduct, due to asbestos exposed. Company AB didnt really provide me a quote but they stated it is going to be about 3-6k. Their technician stated that he was not going to provide a quote unless he got a commitment from me to go with them. (Yeah one of the old sales tactics). I did a quick research online and mr google told me the cost of removing asbestos from airduct and install new airduct is about 2-3k. Knowing this i told company AB, im going to shop around before commiting to them. So as the rule of thumb, I shopped around and received 2 quotes, both of which was around 3k. One of them from metz. Their quote was a bit more expensive then the other, but what i like was they came over to my house to provide quick estimate and did not do any sales pitch. I think that was the reason i picked them over the other, plus my friend recommended them. (As my experiences. I have been not happy with contractors on yelp even those with 5 stars - maybe it was just my bad luck). As far as the work, they did a good job and did some cleaning after their done. I have no complain and pretty happy with their work. read more

The furnace of our HVAC unit went out. I had a couple techs out to see if repair was an option and determined I needed a new HVAC system (old one was 15 years old). We saved up for a bit, I did some research on the systems major components and what to look for. Eric, my project manager, was extremely professional. I had more questions than the average customer I'm sure, and he answered or looked up any information I asked about. He showed me around the attic so I could get an understanding of what was what. He even had me come to the show room when I had a concern about noise level due to the new lowNox furnace laws. The technicians that came out were friendly, courteous and respectful. They replaced my HVAC unit in a single day (was an all day job though). They laid down mats to keep our new carpet protected and wore booties while inside the house. Metz reputation was a big reason I went with them. Their prices, for the specs on the system were also competitive. They are a solid choice. read more

Have an elderly grandmother in the house and ac duct needed a cleaning because airflow is diminished and it has been many years since the ducts were cleaned so of course we want to try a cheaper solution before changing out the unit and they said they don't offer it during the summer but if we want a new unit we can do it.
