To our and the other customers surprise, even though there were 20 mins left for closing and there were paying customer sitting, the employee there mentioned there was only $9 tip in the tip jar which had to be shared between 3. We had used a card so did the other customer sitting right across us, so the tip was charged to the card. Next up, the other employee took out the trash bags and placed it right in front of our table while we were eating right there!!? Very disappointed with the service here overall.

I ordered the mustard and relish on the side. Overall, it was a delicious burger. The wheat bun was pretty with the oats (?) on top and had the earthy flavor I expect from a wheat bun. It held up fine bite after bite - never soggy. The lettuce, tomatoes, and onion were crisp and cold. I added my own mustard and ketchup to round it out. I tried the relish and didn't like it. It was a bread and butter pickles relish, and I prefer dill pickles on my burgers. I am glad that I ordered it on the side. For my side, I opted for the side salad instead of french fries. I was impressed with the taste of this salad. Who knew that spring mix topped with sliced tomatoes and some Ken's blue cheese dressing could taste so good? I removed the shredded cheddar cheese because cheddar cheese with blue cheese dressing is a combination that I don't like. As a family, we spent some time voting for the next music channel to play in the restaurant. It's not the same as choosing the next song from an actual jukebox, but it was something fun to keep us busy in between ordering and the arrival of our onion rings appetizer.
