They digested the flex Pipe to the manifold, reworked it three times and never did it. They refused to return the money, saying that it was not their problem. I came to this shop 2.5 months ago with grinding/rattling noise the rear left wheel of my 22.5-year-old car. The manager, Joe, showed me a small quiet leak in my exhaust, which I knew about, but he suggested that might cause the noise. I told Joe I didn't want to put money into this old car, but he gently pushed, "The car is solid, and you will drive it forever", and I reluctantly gave in paying paying $1,600 via Zelle, which means I cannot dispute/contest the charge. But, WORST OF ALL, I left with the same noise in my rear left brake drum, but they never touched the brakes, and I had to go to another shop/mechanic to fix that, which turned out to be rusty broken brake spring and washer that fell off/down and was getting between the brake shoes and the drum , thus making the noise on-and-off. After the muffler installation, "Check Engine" light came on, but Joe called it "coincidence." I got trapped in an old car with an expensive investment (muffler and rear drum brakes), because I could not sell the car with "Engine" light or pass the next emission test, so I was stuck. Their mechanic, Carlos, used a diagnostic tester and told me to replace the air-fuel ratio sensor and use specifically Denso brand sensor (aftermarket), and Joe me to get "California" emission standard sensor. I bought Denso sensor, CA spec., from 5 sources (online and local auto parts stores), but they kept giving me the "Engine" light, and my other mechanic threw away my original Toyota sensors. 6. I ended up taking my old car to Toyota dealer, who did full diagnostics and replaced both air-fuel ratio and oxygen sensors, and it turned out that my car conformed to the Federal, NOT California emission standards, AS JOE SAID, and that was why the light kept coming on AFTER THE MUFFLER REPLACEMENT. 7. When I shared the sensor confusion story with Joe, he replied, "I can't remember what I told you" and claimed, "I am not liable for sensors" or for Toyota labor. Of course, Joe, you are not liable for sensors, because I cannot prove that the light came on the moment you replaced the muffler. Of course, you are not liable for my silly impulsive decision to buy a muffler (under your soft pressure). It is not illegal. And you are not liable for NOT touching my rear brakes that made noise and instead selling me an exhaust (that subsequently sent me "on a wild goose chase" for the diagnostic and sensors replacement that cost me hundreds of dollars more at the dealership), BUT THAT WAS YOUR MAIN MORAL SIN. You are not liable for telling me to buy wrong California sensors vs. correct Federal. And you MAY not be liable for using Zelle for business transactions, thus evading the official warranty obligations and possibility of credit card dispute, because Zelle is not illegal. Your Zelle transaction taxes are not my business but someone else's job. My next step is BBB review (not complaint, because you will just respond to the BBB, and that will be the end of it, but review will remain there forever and help others be more careful). read more

Was in there a while back Saul is no longer there, some other guy forgot his name, I needed brakes that did the job charged me 800 bucks not bad work was done was good m, however he comes at me telling me I need tie rods for 550 bucks he can take care of it, I'm like no it's fine he tells me ahhh not really safe so keep it in mind, I get my oil changed at the dealer about 2 weeks later nothing mentioned about tie rods, 2 weeks or so after that I get tires replaced and a 4 wheel alignment nothing mentioned about tie rods, sad that this business has went to selling people what they don't need!! I got the engine light on and they said the problem was the driver catalytic converter, they replaced it and replaced the two sensors I paid 3000 , 3 months after the engine light came back , they said the passenger catalytic converter was bad and they wanted another 3000 to replace it I said no , I went home and I disconnected the sensor and I found that one of the connections was dirty I cleaned it and the light has not come back since I did it , I think the other catalytic that they replaced was exactly the same problem and I paid 3000 , they are by far the worst mechanics they only want your money and if you want to pay less they give you a discount if you pay cash under the table but of course not warranty, stay away from this place , not honest mechanics read more

If I could give negative stars I would! This place is horrible beyond belief. Went here to get an O2 sensor changed, ended up having to be replaced 3 times because they have no idea what they are doing. They did my breaks as well and actually could've killed me because they didn't put them on right. They told me to have it towed there because it was to dangerous to drive. Let alone one of the mechanics cracked my front windshield while it was at the shop and paid for it under the table cash. How shady can you be? Never ever bring your car here unless you want to be ripped off or possibly die from your breaks failing. Had them patch a tire for me. The tire held air. Only problem is the over tightened some of my lug nuts and didn't tighten others. Due to this I had 4 studs sheer off causing my tire to almost fall off. They refused to believe it was from them when I brought it back in. They wanted to charge me over $500 to replace the hub for my tire which is not needed and by far the more pricey option to fix the problem. I brought my vehicle to my mechanic who ponded in new studs for under $100. I'd never tell anyone to go there. Horrible experience. read more

I got my brakes repaired a couple of weeks ago. With working from home, I didn't have to drive my car much after that. Finally, I got on the highway and when I went to brake, my car would not stop. I had to stomp on the pedal for it to stop. I stopped by the place and the rude woman in the front said I'd have to wait 2 days for them to look at my car. In addition, I'd have to pay for new services, although, I already paid and brought the receipt. She basically said it wasn't her problem and if I wanted them to look at the brakes again, they will give me an estimate in 2 days for how much it'll cost. If you take your safety serious, do not bring your car here. They will take your money and not do the job right. They do not care about the safety of their customers. read more

They replaced my tailpipe, rotated my tires and changed my oil for $100 and in under an hour. I actually questioned them thinking that they forgot to charge me for something, but was assured that it was correct. No wonder all of their bays are usually full. A previous reviewer expressed a problem communicating in English, but I encountered no issues. The clientele, when I was there seemed to be pretty evenly split between Anglo and Hispanic, so I don't think it should be a concern. read more

I had an oil change done back when they changed oil. They stripped the bolt that is necessary to release the oil and charged me extra for giving me a new bolt. I don't know much about cars or else I would have said something, but if they rush and don't take the time to do basic oils, imagine how they treat your car with more serious jobs. I went in on a Monday, went BACK on a Tuesday because what they said they had fixed actually was worse than when I went in originally. Then on the way home from being fixed on Tuesday the car broke down on the road not 2 hours after picking it up from these guys! When I called the next morning to get a tow back to their shop the conversation started with them not being able to speak English! They certainly knew enough to charge me but some how after that they no longer know how to speak English? Eventually after calling again and again I got a call from the head guy stating that it wasn't their fault so they wouldn't pay for the tow back. They claimed that what they worked on had nothing to do with the engine even though they were the last to lay hands on the car. Needless to say I am out not only the money they charged to "fix" my car but now for towing to a DIFFERENT mechanic plus what ever this new guy has to fix from Mexico Mufflers fucking up my car. Terrible!!!!! I got my whole exhaust replaced. 3 months later it craped out. Went to them to honor their 1 year warranty. They were very rude. They give you written reciepts and claim they can't read the date therfor not honoring the warranty. Garbage. They use cheap matetials to make their mufflers that's why they charge a little less. This place is the best, Saul the manager speaks English, along with most of the staff. I had no issues talking with them about the custom exhaust that I wanted on my car. They told me it was going to be $500 for new mufflers, cats, and pipes. In all they only charged me $450. Like everyone else your car isn't going to break down because of muffler or exhaust it is just going to be noisy. All around a great place to get your car fixed or to get some custom work done. Would def recommend to others and friends. Also side not I must have seen 2 or 3 dealer cars there so that tells me that if a dealership is using this place that it is better than what they can do. read more

I went their to get side pipe exhausts put on my truck, I specifically told SAUL the head guy that I wanted the same size piping used as before and he said ok no problem. Waited about 2hrs for them to finish. He pulls the car out and I immediately notice some wrong. I hold up my old piping next to the new piping that they put on just to compare. They new pipes they put on fit inside my old ones meaning they are smaller, a lot smaller. I immediately question this and he said it is the same size and thats when I showed him my old piping and he said ok bring it in the next day. I bring in my truck the next day at 10AM and ended up waiting until 5:45PM close to 6PM for them to finish fixing their mistake. Yes I waited all day. This time I am also watching them work on the car the whole time, (in this cold November weather 2013) and I notice the tech that is working on the exhaust is not welding the O2 sensor in the correct place. I begin to urge him to stop and he looks at me and continues doing what he is doing. I begin yelling stop over and over and banging on the garage and he looks at me again and goes back to doing what he is doing. Thats when I finally found SAUL the head guy and he just finished the job. I paid for the initial work but in the end, their mistakes wasted my time and money and even more of their time and money.
