Went in for an after-dinner drink and got pulled into a full Star Wars takeover, complete with Han Solo frozen in carbonite on the door, a Mos Eisley Cantina bar setup, and Star Wars shows playing in the background. The theme changes every 3-4 months, so what you see now won't be there forever. Reservations are usually required and we got lucky thanks to a local host who knew someone. Worth planning ahead. Drinks come from the in-house "Cantina" and lean into the theme without feeling gimmicky. Food runs off the menu from the Wobbly Olive, the main bar hidden behind a door in the same spot, and it held up. The Outer Rim Provisions menu had solid options. The biggest surprise was the noise level. You'd expect a themed cocktail bar to be loud, but you could actually hold a conversation. Our server was on point, brought drinks fast, and even remembered the names of the people we were with. Go for a date night or anytime you want a low-key cocktail experience with serious attention to detail. Make a reservation. Peek into the Wobbly Olive on your way out.

The creativity that goes into each one of their themes that rotates quarterly-ish, is so impressive! They even had an old book for guests to sign that looked like it could've belonged in the Lord of the Ring movies. The drink I got was a spinoff of an old-fashioned, which I love, but it was really just an old-fashioned. I couldn't taste the difference, but it was a great old-fashioned! :-)

The whole setup was super cute, and everyone in the speakeasy looked like they were straight out of an Eras tour concert. The themed cocktails were cleverly named after Taylor's songs. Yes, they were a bit pricey, but you're really paying for the ambience and the whole experience. And the food? Shockingly good! We came in very casual clothing (nothing even remotely fancy) and were not treated any different than those who came in suits. In fact, the service was so good I can confidentially say this may have been the best service I have ever had in a restaurant. Every employee, even those outside of our server, were very willing to help even if just overhearing one of us mention a problem. Our server, Josh, was so good at anticipating exactly what we needed and had great reccomendations to improve our experience, and was very respectful. The food was lovely as well, I ordered the ribeye and it was very tender (cut through like butter), flavorful, and perfectly cooked. My drink was a mocktail mule, a reccomendation from our server, and it was GREAT. For dessert I got a strawberry mousse and it was so delicious I found myself using my fork to scrape out every last bit of it from the cup. The prices here are quite high: for a bill of 4 drinks (malbec wine and mocktail mule), 2 appetizers (popovers and fried goat cheese- a great combo), 2 steaks (ribeye and filet mignon), and 2 desserts (Yuzu black sesame cake and strawberry mousse), ended up as a bill of about $250 before tip, but it was definitely worth it. This isnt the kind of place id say you go every week, more of a place for a special occasion, so the prices feel a bit more rational, and the atmosphere definitely makes it clear this place is fancy.

We decided to sit in the bar area rather than wait for a table in the main dining room, and I'm glad we did. Joel was our server and he was fantastic. Having a great server can really elevate a dining experience, and Joel was exceptional. We started with the Hamachi Crudo (4/5) and Shrimp Cocktail (5/5). Next was the Local Greens salad 5/5, which completely blew me away. The goat cheese, fresh herbs, and dressing were perfectly balanced--so much flavor for what sounds like such a simple salad.
