    Carne Asada
    Dea M.

Let me start by saying - We had a huge group - over 30 and they placed us in the back area. That part was great, because we had a nice private area. But let's talk about the food and service. I was not impressed with the service nor the food overall. My carne asada (steak alone) was very good BUT the rice seemed like an afterthought and tasted undercooked or day old. It was just hard. The pico de gallo was super fresh so that's a plus too! The white sauce was thicker than I am used to - and not great to me. But I think white sauce is subjective. We had one server for that large of a party when we were told we would have 2. When the food came out, it was totally disorganized and they didn't know who ordered what. FYI we were also told that groups that large cannot have separate checks so we had to go to the front and tell them what we ordered to pay. That created a huge line when it was time to go. I will not rush to go back. I was thankful to celebrate what we did with who we did in a private setting, but it would not be my go-to for Mexican food. Overall, I'm glad we had a private space but they could have done better on the food and the service.

The atmosphere was family friendly. I had Nachos Supreme. The supreme is to add lettuce, tomato and sour cream. To get it close to o the way I like it, I ordered the guacamole and added it to the nachos. It was very good. My husband had a combo dinner with burritos and enchiladas with a side of Spanish rice which he said was very good. The specialty mixed drink, I had was very balanced and delicious without being too sweet. Kudos to the bartender. The salsa was very tasty and the cheese dip was good. We placed a to go order for my son, a taco dinner. That was well packaged. They included chips and salsa with his taco dinner. The waitress was excellent. She timed his to go order to come out as we were finished with our dinner. This was a great place to eat in or carry out.

Ate here for dinner around 6pm with with. Restaurant is casual and comfortable. It is clean inside and out as well as the restrooms. Waiter has been very polite. Food arrived hot and fresh and very good. Nice size portions. Prices are fair for quality and portions. We will return.

It's certainly something different from someplace else like El Paso, heck, I would go out of the way to say it's much better than El Paso.

Decent food. Service is usually ok but not great. Salsa is nothing to write home about.

Since it is our first time, she passed it on to the kitchen manager kyndell, who kindly brought us the palmetto chicken sliders. They were savory and sweet and amazing! The Bri appetizer was delicious as well, with crunchy bread to serve with. On to the lunch : both got the smash burgers, sweet potato fries, and regular fries. Regular fries were seasoned to perfection, and crunchy. Sweet potato fries were waffle and dusted with a little sugar. Both were great! Burger was crispy and you can tell it was a quality meat. House sauce was good as well! Dessert: we got the bacon wrapped dates which was the star of the show. Such a creative concept, came with goat cheese and honey! They were amazing, and I could have had 10 more. The flavors paired perfectly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, Abby and kyndall really made our time special. We will be back to try the pizza and other apps!

If I could I would have given it 4 1/2 stars, because it was good but not great but definitely well enough not to drop it to a 4. Let's start with the location: very nice and everything seems real clean and cared for. Even the men's room was decent at 6:00 pm at night. Now our server: Sidney was very attentive to us. She took very good care of us during our stay. Now the meal: Again it was good. The wifey had the Blackened Chicken Alfredo. She tells me the sauce had a nice flavor but the chicken really had no flavor. Certainly not a Blackened flavor you would expect. The chicken itself was good and tender. As for me I had Shrimp and Grits. It also was good. It had onions and peppers in it and again the flavor of the onions and peppers just want there. Who knows. We also had the Brick Oven Brie. There was a really nice amount of Brie. So much that the toasted bread ran out way before the Brie. So as I said this was a good place and meal despite my small hits in this review. I firmly recommend this place because I do expect you to have a nice meal. Ps. To the owners: your link to your website doesn't work via Yelp. To potential customers: you will have to go your search engine and find the Charred site.

We thought…read morewe were going to have to wait for a while, but we were pleasantly surprised that the patio was open on a first-come, first-served basis, so we sat outside. It was a pretty nice evening with a light breeze. It was perfect, since they had over-the-top heaters and then a beautiful heater that came on at the end of the patio. We started out by ordering some old-fashioned drinks to sip, and they were amazing! Beautifully made and spot on with the flavor. For food, we decided to order from the three-course dinner menu. My husband started with a steakhouse wedge salad, and I had the chicken tortilla soup. Wow, both were so yummy. My husband could not say enough about his salad. My soup was bursting with flavor and full of chicken. And because we apparently needed to be extra, we had to order the lobster spinach queso because it sounded amazing, which it certainly was. It was full of lobster, spinich and pepper jack cheese!!! For the entree, my husband had the wood-grilled chicken, and I ordered the grilled salmon and shrimp. He said the entree was incredible. He loved the mushrooms and tomatoes grilled on top and especially raved about the parmesan mashed potatoes. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. My grilled salmon and shrimp were spot on. The shrimp were thick, and the salmon was grilled to perfection. Both were topped with a light aji amarillo sauce that was fantastic together. To me, the ancient grains pilaf topped the whole thing off, the salmon with the pilaf and sauce were a perfect three-piece combo that had me wanting more and more with each bite. For dessert, we both ordered the petite creme brulee cheesecakes. At this point, I was bursting, but the gorgeous vision in front of me could not be wasted!!!! The cheesecake had a perfect light crunch on top and paired beautifully with the fruit and dollop of whipped cream on the plate. Our server was kind and prompt with our food, even when she seemed very busy. Overall, it was fantastic, and we have plans to return.

The entire staff was friendly, professional, and customer forward. The ambiance was great - lighthearted but professional. The dining area was very clean and the room was warm and well lit with natural light which made the space feel even cleaner and more inviting. The staff all had matching shirts (it was cinco de mayo so it's possible it was celebratory rather than the norm but it carried well either way) Now to the food. The food was enjoyable. It didn't wow me, but I definitely enjoyed my meal. The chips and salsa were on point. The flavor of the rice and beans were better than many others. The beef taco and enchilada were flavorful enough but had it not been for the salsa from the chips that I ended up adding, it would have been mediocre at best. But here's the thing... the value was not there. The food is overpriced. What you see in the photo was a $20 meal before tip - and his was the cheapest offering on their lunch menu. (The plate was $13 and the side of beans, $5) I had a water otherwise, I would've been closer to $25 for sure. So overall, a good experience. Good food, very good service, very clean and welcoming but the value was the biggest dent in the experience. I'm willing to go back and try other items onto the menu but I'm prepared now. Bring a little extra dinero.

You truly get more than what you pay for, which is hard to find these days. When I first came around 5 pm, there wasn't anyone there, but be warned: as it gets later, it gets busier! I think the time I went was the sweet spot; the turnaround from when I ordered my food to when it arrived at my table was about 20 minutes. My server, Josue, was personable, attentive, and kind; he definitely added to the overall experience! He mentioned that he is also the bartender and would be taking on the role as server as well and to bear with him, but he did not miss a beat. Overall, worth the visit for the food, value, and atmosphere!
