The photos don't do it justice. This place is seriously so good. Chill vibes if you want to eat at the bar or go outside for some fresh air to enjoy your food. The best thing about this place is the fact that they do not shy away from the authenticity of Mexican cuisine. And their prices are so reasonable ! I have been ordering this place for as long as I can remember on Uber Eats and I finally made it to the Hollywood location and the food DOES NOT disappoint. Everyone is so nice here and Kayla was great! Thank you so much for everything! I'd rate it higher than 5 stars if I could.

This little Mexican spot is a great addition to the shopping center. Authentic, cheap, delicious, what more could you a want? When I saw pictures of their food I had to check them out & it was a great idea I did. They're well worth the stop. I've had my fair share of street tacos so I'm always looking for good places to eat. Being in south Florida we don't have a shortage of taquerias but not all of them are what they claim to be. Mexiote, however, is not the case. It's amazing! Everything from their chunky guacamole to their tacos & sopes are delicious. Packed with flavor & wonderful textures, it's the kind of stuff you crave days after eating it. I really like the flavor & slightly crunchy texture of the tortillas for their tacos. They're cooked a little more crispy but it works really well. Both the carne asada & al pastor are next level. The meat is insanely tender & perfectly seasoned. I love the pieces of pineapple in the al pastor, you get a nice subtle sweetness with it. The pork is also marinated wonderfully. The tacos are stuffed full so you get your moneys worth for sure. Getting the sope was also a fantastic decision. I don't usually get these often but it was calling my name. I went with carne asada of course. The corn base was thick & fried to perfection. It was piled high with meat, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, sour cream & beans. Biting into this was heavenly. Each bite seemed to be better than the last. They're served in orders of 2 so you can share with a friend or be smart & eat both. This might have to be an every-visit item from now on. The employees are very friendly & bring the food out right away. There's not too many tables inside so it can get crowded quickly, but it's tended to well. The dining area is kept very clean which is great to see. Everything about this place has something I can speak highly of so I'll definitely be coming back. I'd say they might be the best taqueria in Broward county.

The breakfast menu is served from 8 am to 12 pm. I had lunch there, and the food was incredible! You order at the counter, and they bring your food out promptly. They only have bottled soda, not a fountain.

Very tasty consome sauce with cilantro and onions.

My friend Luisa recommended I try this restaurant, she said it's delicious. I'm a fan of Birria tacos and after trying multiple places around, Mexiote is now my favorite! Each taco was a double taco! Yes, 2 tacos connected together so an order of 3 is actually 6! The dipping sauce is so good, not too salty like others I've had. The beef was very tasty on its own but I also enjoyed the green sauce. Street corn was also yummy and of course had to get a Horchata! Delicious! Cute decor inside with music playing. Put it on your list to try, there's one in Pembroke Pines too.

Small, cute taco shop with a small bar seating area if you want. Tables are inside and outside. The foot was absolutely delicious. My friend had a burrito, and I had four tacos: steak, chicken, Al pastor and carne asada. I didn't expect the portions to be large but it was definitely bigger than what you get sometimes at other taco places. The food was fresh, delicious and authentic. I didn't even need the sauce to add flavor - the lime was enough. I am definitely coming back!

I am a long time customer of their food truck, this was my 1st time at their restaurant... and they never disappoint! Everything is always so fresh and flavorful. The sopas are the best! The restaurant is so clean, we did take out but the server was so pleasant. This is my favorite Mexican spot!

Someone told me about this little place serving up great tacos and I couldn't wait to try it. It's definitely on the small side with about 6 tables and some seating at the counter. We were warmly welcomed, put our order in and within 10 minutes our order was served to us. I had two of the carne asada (steak) tacos and one chorizo taco. My husband had a fish taco made with lightly breaded cod, and two carne asada tacos. There was a red and a green sauce to put on your tacos if you chose to. We both loved our food, the steak was nice and tender and the sauces were a nice addition. The chorizo was a little spicy but in a good way! When we got there there was one other table taken but the place was pretty filled by the time we left. It seems like they do a great deal of takeout orders judging by the amount of people coming to pick them up and by the phone constantly ringing with people putting in their orders We even ended up taking home a couple of tacos and some guacamole and chips for our son. The place was so clean and the employees we interacted with were so nice. This is one place I can't wait to return to! Pictures of what they serve are included with the review!

This is a walk up ordering place that does not service you once you receive your food. Small place good for a quick bite although the reggaeton music was confusing since it's a Mexican restaurant. The birria tacos were on point. The guac was good. The trio tacos were almost great but the carnitas pork was bad, as in had to spit it out and hoping we don't get sick. Pricing is the same as any other place, expected cheaper for the location/ambiance. Not sure if we'll be back but it's a good spot for those in walking distance.

We've been looking for authentic mexican in the area and found Mexiote. Simple street tacos with corn tortillas, protein, onions and cilantro. Very good house made chips and salsa + guac. My go to's are the fish tacos with the pineapple salsa and the chicken torta. I will be a frequent customer.

I have been here 5 or 5 times over the months and it's fantastic every time. If a table is open…read morethey let you have it. They are friendly. Outside ambiance is excellent. Festive vibe. I think the food is good. Not great. Not fully "authentic". But it's good. Every taco is good. Rice is meh. Beans are decent. Salsas are decent (you have to ask for them). It's kind of a fiesta place near the beach. It's not a Michelin star restaurant. Have proper expectations and this place is awesome. The prices are low, and the drinks are strong depending on your server. It's easy, fun, cheap, and Mexican inspired. In general Florida doesn't have amazing Mexican food, and taco beach shack holds its own just fine.

Ambiance: colorful, fun beach vibes music good Location:…read moreperfect because my hotel was onsite Service: mediocre, the waitress sat me down and didn't return for my drink order for a good 15min , reason why I didn't leave was because I had just left the beach about 7pm and was hungry and decided to stop in before heading to my room . She took my order of two crispy tacos and the appetizer was chips and pico de gallo . The pico de gallo was all tomato! The mojito drink I ordered was already watered down by the time she brought it to me. I was too tired to complain, this place needs better staff or at least staff that cares . The waitress was too busy socializing .
