Had this restaurant in my "collections" for awhile now. Finally made it on a Tuesday evening. I love how the menu is on the wall visible for everyone. Street parking is available as well as a lot right across from the restaurant. I love the water station available. There is a bench out front to eat as well as plenty of tables indoors & a beautiful setting in the back to eat where it was packed with customers. I will be returning to eat in the back area with the warmer weather upon us. The food was made to order. The burgers were delicious. Two of my nephews had the pork &bacon BBQ burger which I will definitely try next time. Their fry sauce on the table was so delicious. It needs to be sold in bottles to take home!

Thanks to TikTok I was able to indulge in a good ass burger from Meyer's. The atmosphere of this burger place was industrial and laid back. Seems like a place the locals love. I had the single Dutch burger with salt and pepper fries. It was so delicious and fresh. The burger was cooked well and had sweet pickles on it. I was never into sweet pickles but it tasted pretty good on the burger. Am I converting to the sweet pickle crew? No. BUT I would eat it again on a burger from Meyer's. The service was great and very laid back. No rushing or fussing. This was my first time ever eating/visiting Beacon NY and on my next trip I'll definitely be stopping in to eat at Meyer's Olde Dutch.

Def the people's choice by the amount of foot work this spot gets, there's a little wait but worth it. I had the crispy chicken sandwich with a side of regular fries and a cocktail. Everything was very tasty and made quick. The "Sweater Weather Spritz" drink was hitting. With a few places in the same area to eat, glad I stopped in.

We came on a whim while driving around the area antiquing. We were able to snag a couple seats at the bar, as they were quite busy at peak lunchtime on a Sunday. We got a double dutch, crispy chicken sandwich, and fries. To drink, I tried a seasonal gin cocktail. The cocktail was well balanced and refreshing. The burger and chicken sandwiches were tasty and messy due to the large size and generous toppings. Chicken was extra crispy. Fries were seasoned well and even better with fry sauce. Food came out pretty quickly - they were pumping food out of the kitchen. Bartenders were sociable and gave off good vibes.

This is in my unprofessional/professional opinion the best cocktail spot in beacon. It's probably the cheapest in terms of prices, but in terms of quality, taste, and creativity, it beats all the places in beacon.

This place is AWESOME. The vibes are so cool, staff is super friendly, and the food is awesome. One of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had and the dirty fries were incredible (love the pimento cheese). We're not from the area but I'd make a detour to come back here more often!

Maybe it was the 4 hour hike talking but this was an EXTREMELY GOOD burger!!! Every component was spot on - pillowy bun, stretchy cheese, perfectly cooked burger, grilled onion, and for once - not too salty! But honestly, the burger wasn't even the star of the show, the fries SLAPPED!!! My friend said it might've been the best fries she's ever had???? They had a slight crunch and soft interior and were thicker which gave them some depth. Thisnis a must try spot in beacon!!!

We had a great time playing a game as we were eating and drinking. The drinks all had different flavors, and we're all very well blended and balanced for taste. I would say my favorite one was the surprise me drink. The Korean nachos were delicious, and there was a nice little tang of flavor as you eat it. The garlic dipping sauce that came along with the tallow fries was very addicting to eat (not usually fond of garlic) We finished everything we ordered. Overall the drinks complemented the food flavors very well. Kiera made sure we were good with our food and drinks, she was funny to talk to and made our first experience So much better. We didn't have to wait long to get a table and our food and drinks came out in a timely manner. I would recommend this place for any occasion, happy to have celebrated my birthday here.

We went around 5pm, and saw the sign "Seat Yourself & Order At The Bar". Ok... So I asked a bartender for 2 menus, and found a booth. We decided quickly, and I made my way to the bar. Others were ahead of me, so I patiently waited to order: Tripple Smash Burger, Honey Buffalo Salad, Purple Rain (2), Diet Coke. I paid at the bar, served the drinks and waited for our food. The music was 80's MTV Themed {Pat Benatar, Bon Jovi, Bruuuce, Billy Idol}. Jenga, Horrible Couple and Cards Against Humanity were on the tables to pass the time. Or flip through the many records available for purchase until the food arrives. The salad was large in size and very good. Been a while since I had a burger, and this filled the void. Fries were not that hot, but we ate them anyway. Afterwards, we went downstairs and played some old school arcade games and then headed out. Upon leaving we saw someone was having a birthday party, which was nice to see. I'm sure in the summer this place gets packed. They also have a selection of draught beer (The proper way to spell it). Good choice for food, although it wasn't cheap. Bill w/tip was $100. I think having a server on staff for all hours would be a good decision for TVR to make, in order to TCB !

There is also the perennial complaint of cost - but a dinner for three that included two drinks, three appetizers (one of which was bread which at this price point should be complementary, and anther a tomato salad), and two entrees should not be $180. The steamed dumplings were reasonably tasty, but the wrapper was too thick and I question the addition of corn. The duck breast was generally under-seasoned and bland, and the skin had not been fully rendered out. The biggest disappointment was the tuna nori - the strongest flavor was an off putting fish taste. The accompanying rice (jasmine and not short grain?) and bok choy both tasted like they had been cooked in nothing but butter. The view is nice, but I don't plan on dining here often.

The Brussels sprouts had good flavor but were undercooked. The duck breast had portions that were very raw (which is fine for me, but worth mentioning), but otherwise was good. The pasta was tasty but extremely different from what I expected; I did not pick up any hints of lemon, and the dish had more of a smoky flavor. The earl grey Panna cotta was good, and it had a nice subtlety to the flavor. I got a glass of the "village blush" wine, which was shockingly sweet, especially compared to the pepperiness of the aroma. (Perhaps this is something that is well-known to wine enthusiasts, but it caught me by surprise.)

When we asked the server if the meats in the actual meat tacos was seasoned, she said yes. I don't get why they would serve the plant based one with no seasoning. I reminisce arcade video games were always localized at shopping malls. Happy Valley Arcade Bar contains many games and snacks as well as alcohol and non-alcohol drinks are available. There is a coin change machine which was not working. This arcade video game business does contain a bathroom facility. It does provide a temporary mental detox or mental phlegmatic disposition from life's stressors in a casual relaxed atmosphere without judgment and without pressure of looming deadline for quota. There is also a small photo booth which can only fit two people. It was impossible to cramp six adults in this miniscule booth. There is an outdoor patio for seating. I hoped to see Grand Theft Auto, but to no avail. Arcade cabinet games are: Pac-Man 1980 I played for $0.25 and lost at the first round. Donkey Kong 1981 No comment. I did not play. Pinball games are very classic and simple as the objective are all the same with a carbon steel or chrome steel ball with flippers. It is a game of chance. I remember playing Initial D Arcade Stage: Cycraft Edition 2003 where the seat drastically shifted, leaned, and jerked violently sideways to perfectly match the mountain-pass touge drifting mechanics of the motion-simulator racing game. I remember I jackknifed a vehicle! I lost this five minute racing game with my then boyfriend. Disappointedly, this video game cabinet is not available at Happy Valley Arcade Bar.
