I love when I can track the status online. I ordered the breakfast sendvic and I added sudzuka (seasoned beef). You do have the option to add beef or turkey bacon. I tried this spot for the first time on a random weekday afternoon. There were probably 3 parties in total, including mine, so it felt very quiet and empty since the dining room is so big! I could imagine how lively the place would be during the weekend. My friend and I each had a breakfast pide ($18) with meat added on ($3-5 depending on choice). The bread was pillowy and chewy with lots of charred spots, which I personally love but might not sit well with others. Wow! This place is a gem! We were pretty intimidated by the long line, but it actually goes pretty quick and the food comes out just as quickly. Every bite was phenomenal. We had the Cilbir and Breakfrast Sendvic with sudzuka patty for savory items and they came out shortly after our pastries which came almost as quickly as we sat down. Both were savory delights. For pastries, we had the sour cherry scone and the tahini bun. Super well done on both counts. While smaller than anticipated, the sour cherry scone with thai basil was delicious and had a great textural variance. We had a great time visiting Telva at the Ridge for brunch. They have food and drink menus at the welcoming desk and you would order at the counter before finding seats. The foods were made quickly but were so delicious. I ordered Cilbur with sunny sided up eggs and the dish was so flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the toasted somun that came with the dish. I've been here multiple times and I've never had anything that wasn't amazing! (The mustafa tost was good, didn't have the deeper flavors that I like, but still very good.) I didn't think that the orange cake would be nearly as good as it was, but WOW!! The cream topping was phenomenal and the cake itself was SO flavorful and moist. The orange flavor was more authentic and present than it's been in any other orange-flavored thing I've ever had. The kilbir is always savory and has a depth and warmth to it that pairs perfectly with the yoghurt. I wish there was more bread included because the pieces included don't seem to last for half of the dish. The latte was very nice! If you're a coffee lover, then you'll like it. The coffee flavor is very nice and isn't drowned out by the syrups. The baklava parfait is a MUST. With the honey drizzle and nuts and flower petals on the plate, you get nice variety and it looks gorgeous. The sweetness of the baklava filling paired with the sourness of their homemade yoghurt, it's a perfect pairing. I love this place! Telva has such a welcoming atmosphere and the food and coffee are phenomenal! Expect a wait on the weekends, but it's very much worth it. They serve Balkan coffee and breakfast, so it's not your typical American diner by any means. I typically get the cilbir but the sloppy mustafa tost is also really good. You can't go wrong with any of their pasties either if you want an extra treat! Their eurocream latte is one of my favorite lattes in town and I will wait in line just for this cup of coffee! Telva at The Ridge is one of the best breakfast spots. I've been a few times now and everything has been to die for. The Breakfast Sendvic with Sudzuka sausage was hearty and filling. The Cilbir was amazing because the garlic yogurt with tomato chile brown butter and herbs was perfect for dipping with sourdough. Yasmina is an amazing server, she helped me decide one the best options for my taste and helped secure a reservation for my birthday brunch. They are a machine, huge space that's packed with a line out of the door so if it's a Sunday I suggest ordering online and going for a nice walk. We stopped into Telva's around 12:30pm on a Friday to find it buzzing with college students, laptop workers, and tourists. You order at the counter before being assigned a table. The European Sipping Chocolate is a seasonal hallmark and major draw for folks to Telva's. They only serve it on weekends (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) in December. We had never been to Telva's and came explicitly to try this drink. There were a few tables to choose from, so that meant we were cozy with other customers; eavesdropping on your neighbors is almost inevitable. The sipping chocolate and baklava we ordered arrived at our table within 5 minutes. The sipping chocolate was oddly cool; we expected it to be at least a little warm. European Sipping Chocolate is intentionally high-quality, dark chocolate. The toasted marshmallow rims on the teacups are the perfect pairing, allowing each consumer to mix in some marshmallow to sweeten to taste. The chocolate was delicious, but so rich we did wish we had shared one order. We do think it would be lovely if Telva expanded the drink in the future to serve the toasted marshmallow with toppings like pistachios or berries. The pistachios especially would make the drink pair so well with their delicious house baklava! We are glad we took the time to taste the famed Telva's European Sipping Chocolate, but wish it had been served a bit warmer. read more

WOW - blown away. Best find in a couple of years. I cannot recommend this place enough. Went for late breakfast. The menu was full of all sorts of intriguing items I had never heard of nor tried so our group ordered several different items for the table and item after item all scored 10/10. The folks were super friendly and service was down to a perfect science. Order at the stand, then they seat you and deliver your food and beverages. We ordered and got our food quickly; the next-door neighbor Rolling ridge Nursery was fun to browse briefly. The French toast special BLEW me away. Crispy exterior and warm buttery interior topped with phyllo crispies, agda syrup, pears, the sweetest pomegranate seeds. I want to return purely for this French toast which was like the perfect marriage of a bread pudding and baklava. We also enjoyed the sloppy mustafa toast which reminded me of chili ground beef with a perfectly runny egg on bread. Tried Telva on the Ridge last week and I'm still thinking about it. My friend and I shared the Baklava Yogurt Parfait to start and it was absolutely incredible. The flavors were perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. For my main, I had the Sweet Przenice and it was mouth watering from the first bite. My friend ordered the avocado toast and that was just as delicious. Even though it was busy, the service was great. Staff were friendly, attentive, and everything came out quickly. Solid, just not memorable. Bolyard Beef Bacon Side: $5, tasty but the price! Telva Avocado Tost $14 Good, pretty, very brunch-coded. Feels like it belongs on the table for aesthetic balance. Breakfast Sandvic with Turkey Bacon $14 Tahini Bun $8 Nutty, soft, comforting, beautifully presented. But if you've had similar sesame or tahini pastries at a Chinese bakery for a fraction of the price, it's hard not to notice. Bosnian Kahva $6.50 Fun ritual, smaller portion than we've seen elsewhere. Feels more like an experience add-on than a caffeine strategy. Eurocrem Latte $5.25 Quietly excellent. Wonderful staff, wonderful warm ambiance and wonderful quality food. Visited my first time, and already looking forward to returning. The lovely waitress was supremely friendly and patiently guided me through the different seating areas as well as the unique menu. It is really a unique place and dangerously attached to the garden center I frequent. The coffee is better than traditional coffee houses. The instant coffee latte was similar to ones I've had overseas and simply delicious with oat milk. I also tried their version of Turkish coffee... this was impressive. It was so much more special than any Turkish coffee I've ever had. It was an experience alone. If you love espresso, you MUST try this, and be sure to read the little card that tells you the proper way to drink it. The avocado toast was a blend of flavors and hands down more robust than most places. All the dishes coming from kitchen looked amazing. They use quality local eggs and clearly use all quality ingredients. They've raised the bar for coffee houses! So excited to have this nearby!! read more
