Scab!!!) would have made the dish a No Go. That said, I will say the term is accurate: they were DEFINITELY scab-like in appearance, and the degree of grease oozing off of them put me not only in mind of a scab, but one attached to an infected wound. Barf!! 2. My wife's #1 from the lunch menu was about as basic as a taco and enchilada can be. She even told me it was a stretch to call it Mexican food. 3. We checked in with the host and opted for a table. To start we ordered the queso (Smoky queso, pico de gallo, fresh cilantro) and added the smoky chorizo. The queso was very good and had a great smoky flavor with a little spice. You'll want to order an appetizer as chips are not complimentary. For drinks my partner ordered the strawberry mojito (Bacardi limon, mint, lime, soda, strawberry) which was good and on the sweeter side. For dessert we ordered the Sugar churros (Whipped cream, caramel dipping sauce) which were served piping hot and they go perfectly with the dip. We ended up stirring the whipped cream and the caramel sauce together.
