I've gotten takeout from Mezeh a few times now and I've got to say it's always an amazing fresh meal! It's located in the Giant plaza so there are always lots of parking spaces available. The inside is clean and the service is always friendly, however I wish they would be less stingy on portions with their scoops (I was getting like 1/8 of the scoop each time and had to keep asking for more which got frustrating). Other than that the service was pretty good. Mezeh is a Mediterranean bowl place set up like a chipotle where you can get various veggies, grains and sauces to put in your bowl. They also offer fresh juices and pita bread. Now onto my food: I always get a mostly greens bowl with mixed greens, a little white basmati rice, couscous, classic hummus, extra Turkish salad, chickpeas, pickled turnips, extra tzatziki dip, tzatziki sauce, and tahini sauce. The vegetables are always fresh, the grains are flavorful, especially the couscous, and the sauces are delicious! I'm so glad I found a great healthy option for dinner. They also have such a good variety of options to choose from which is nice as most bowl places are more limited. I definitely recommend Mezeh, for a quick, healthy, and cheap meal option! read more

Visiting my cousin and we stopped here for late lunch. I love that it's cafeteria style where you can build your own dish and I love all the vegan options. I got the bowl with mixed greens, white basmati rice, falafel, vegetable kafta, chickpea salad, crunchy chickpeas, and cilantro vinaigrette. It was hearty and delicious! The falafel had a little more of a kick than I usually like, but it was still well cooked and yummy. I devoured every last bite. Love having healthy "fast food" options! This store is always out of stock of at least 1 major ingredient every single time I come here. There has never been a time I go and can get everything I want in my bowl. I'm not sure why they can't have all ingredients in stock, it's very frustrating because I can never actually get the food I want. Meh :/ Not so impressive I went there on Weekday afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner. I was waiting for Mezeh to open, but it was a disappointment in the end. Centreville one feels definitely different from Fairfax one. And let me explain why. There are few things that we noticed. 1. When my fiancé and I walked in, there was a couple who just began their ordering of their bowls. They already complained how The green looked unappetizing. The workers did not care to replace it with the freshly prepared greens immediately. And when we saw it, the greens (spring mix, kale, arugula, and spinach) were all either not fresh at all OR bottom edges. 2. Unlike the other Mezeh location, we both noticed how stingy workers were when they were serving, esp. meat. And no drink machine is equipped yet, which means no water, no soda, and no ice at the moment. 3. Inconsistent toppings :( My fiancé LOVES harissa, and he was looking forward to get it in his bowl, but they did not have harissa. 4. Stingy on overall ingredients ...... noticeably different from other locations. Overall, my experience was okay. Things that I mentioned above are adjustable so I'm willing to try again. I order food from here almost once a week with my husband. I've never had trouble parking as they are located in a strip mall with ample space. The staff are always incredibly generous and the portions are huge. I get the greens & grains bowl with chicken or steak shawarma - both full of flavor with a little kick. A few of my favorite toppings to get are the caramelized eggplant, pickled onions and Israeli couscous. For sauce, I really enjoy their tzatziki and greek feta drizzle. For something a little extra, grab their pita chips that have the most delicious seasoning on them and use them as a scoop for your bowl! I've come here a bunch of times for quick lunch. If you don't know that to order (take a glance at the menu located on the wall) b4 entering the ordering line. There are prices on these menus. Thank goodness this place is still open and its one of the few places that u can still find a meal for 10$. It's similar to CAVA, but I feel like there are slightly more side veggie dishes to choose from here. This is a veggie/vegans paradise!!! A healthy person's go to/default place. After I've stuffed myself silly, I don't feel guilty. Lol Word of advice: sometimes getting too many things mixed together doesn't taste good.
