Two generous pieces arrive shatteringly crisp with a beautifully seasoned panko crust that's never greasy. The chicken stays tender and juicy, and the fresh lemon wedges bring everything to life. It's one of those dishes that keeps pulling me back. My favorite side is the shell macaroni and cheese. Rich, creamy, and unapologetically indulgent. Together, the schnitzel and mac and cheese are comfort food perfection. I also love the self-serve organic Tractor beverages, the open kitchen concept, and how consistently clean the restaurant feels. The team is friendly, the food comes out quickly, and you can watch everything being prepared right in front of you. The corn, however, wasn't for me. I was expecting something closer to fresh grilled corn, but it tasted more like grilled canned corn. It reminded me a little of Mexican-style street corn, but with less cilantro and cotija and more of a feta flavor. It just wasn't a highlight for me. My biggest issue was the delivery packaging. Nothing in the bag was sealed or secured. The pita bread was loose inside the brown paper bag, and the bag itself wasn't taped, stapled, or sealed. The taco container arrived caved in and leaking from the bottom, so unpacking everything was pretty messy. With food being left at the door for delivery, I would really like to see the packaging secured better. The tacos also needed a quick trip to the oven once they arrived to firm the pita back up, but after that, I really enjoyed them. Overall, the food was good, the portions were generous, and I would absolutely eat here again. I just don't think delivery is the ideal way to experience it unless the packaging improves.

Food-wise, my wrap ended up being really good but there wasn't an option for a plain wrap, so I went with the cucumber wrap instead of whole wheat and it actually worked out great. Overall, it was a good meal, but if I'm choosing between salad spots in Charlotte I'd probably lean toward Chopt most of the time.

All of them were good, but to me the stand outs were the beef plov and the beef and potato dumplings! It felt like a pretty healthy meal with nourishing ingredients. The beef plov can be customized with toppings- we got green onions, cilantro, pomegranate, and chickpeas. The rice had a nice but mild flavor, and it goes so well with the beef which is very flavorful and so tender! The toppings were great. I enjoyed this dish because it has a nice variety of textures (the burst of pomegranate!), and it is savory, sweet, umami, and salty all at once! It surprised me a little too- the carrots are cooked to be almost creamy and make the dish sweeter than I thought it would be. The dumplings were also delicious! They are different from a pierogi in texture (the fillings are chunkier and the wrapper is more Asian than European- thin and noodle based rather than doughier). We enjoyed the chicken plov too, but all agreed that the bold flavors of the beef were our preference! All in all it was great comfort food, which blended Mediterranean/mideastern/Asian flavors in a unique way! (And bonus, I think it is very kid-friendly flavors and components.)
