This pizza place wasn't too far from our hotel, so we walked. The restaurant is in a nice facility with a courtyard and other establishments around the courtyard. Pretty simple menu with a variety of options. Mostly their house pizzas with a build your own if you choose that route. It's a pretty busy place with a somewhat heavy flow of in and out traffic. Each pizza is made to order, so there is a little wait. Not a big deal. Apparently this was voted Charlottes best pizza. I can honestly say the pizza is really good. 10" pizzas are easily individual pizzas. We both devoured ours pretty quickly. They have indoor seating, but we sat at a little cafe table out front. The inside was hotter than outside. Overall this place was good. Pizza was great. Service was good. We would definitely eat here again. Recommend giving it a try. read more

Umm...It was good, don't get me wrong, but it's far from being the best pizza in the city. I gave it 3 stars to be generous but its more like 2.75. The specialty pizza options didn't appeal to me, so I built my own. Compared to other places, the ricotta spots were a bit small. The toppings were scattered in bunches, and not evenly distributed. So some bites had more jalapeño than others and was extremely hot. It's a thinner crust, which everyone seems to love, but the crust itself was chewy and hard. (I got it normal - not extra crispy or cooked) It had good flavors and the dill ranch is perfect for dipping.... but I will add that my friend had gotten it before and forgotten she had tried it. The crust was fresh and tasted great, and just the standard cheese pizza I got was so good, I did get mine well done! They're 10" pizzas so nothing too crazy we saw families eating one pie per person but I can't wait to go back! They do offer vegan cheese for $3!! Parking may be a little hard to find and there are no bathrooms inside the place itself. We just had a chance to check out King of Fire pizza in Charlotte, and we had a nice time! There was certainly the standard amount of menu items to choose from, including the regular pizza flavors and toppings so that was nice. However, I'm not sure if it was just when we went, because it was a touch busy, but the pizza didn't have a whole lot of cheese, and the service was a bit slow. Great location on The Green in Uptown Charlotte, NJ. You can take out and eat on the lawn, but if not, the ambiance is cute and clean with enough seating during lunch on a Sunday! Food was made fresh and every ingredient worked together so well! We got the Honey Pie 2.0 (pictured) which has bacon, pepperoni, red pep, and honey on a mozz and red sauce base. The crust was fluffy in the right places and thin in others. Although the center crust was a bit moooiiist, it was worth it for the flavor. We also got Garlic Knots! I made an exception for King of Fire! The location across from the Sandwich Club has seen some other businesses come and go and unfortunately had been unoccupied for quite some time. When I saw signage go up signaling the pending debut of King of Fire I was very optimistic, as I had heard great things about their food truck. Their 10" pies run around $15, and you have the option to build your own or to try one of their creations. I elected to go with the New Yorker which includes generous portions of sausage and pepperoni, along with beautiful little dollops of ricotta! It's a great looking pizza, that tastes even better. The bottom crust was cooked to perfection so there wasn't excessive flop and the ingredients didn't just slide right off. Easily one of my favorite pizzas I've had in a while. read more
