So happy this place exists. Highly recommend to break out of the norm of other chain restaurants in Woodbridge. The ingredients are always fresh tasting & their servers are always pleasant no matter the time I come in. Definitely 5 stars from me. With that said, I do only 2 gripes which are: 1)that the mango punch always runs out & doesn't get replenished often 2) the brown rice used to be good when Mezeh opened a few months ago. However lately it is always borderline dangerous to chew. Way too crunchy with no give. I'm afraid of hurting a tooth. read more

Very happy to see this restaurant join the area! My new go-to eatery. Healthy-ish, Fresh, Clean, and Delicious! We got quick take out when we noticed they finally opened. Chicken, rice bowl with a side pita and mango dressing. So good. About a $10 bowl with your choice of ingredients. Will go here more to see if they consistently perform well but I don't doubt these guys know what they are doing. read more

Yesterday, as we were driving through Merchant Plaza, I noticed Chipotle was closed I didn't think much of it until we got home and sat down to eat the take out we'd picked up from Mezeh...needless to say we stopped eating at Chipotle years ago anyway. Mezeh as a almost comparable menu to Chipotle but so much better. It's about time that a fast food restaurant hit the ground with healthy food that pops with flavor! My apologies for not having any pics to post because after my first bite of my lamb kefta flatbread wrap, I could not stop bite after bite after bite. We were served with a very friendly smize and patience as this was our first time at Mezeh and the layout of the food was plentiful and colorful. More than likely I'm not going to let too much time get in between my next visit, I just need to be for sure that Mezeh is really 100% worth it. I just can't get those sumac cucumbers, red cabbage slaw, lebanese tabbouleh, turkish yogurt dip, lamb kefta meatballs, chicken kabob and everything else I had in that wrap away from my taste buds; mercy can't wait to go back! read more

I recently ordered a make it yourself bowl from the Mezeh in Lake Ridge. I ordered the chicken, and steak shawarma, and a variety of toppings to bring the total to almost $20. I ordered it online on the app, and picked it up and went home to enjoy it. To my surprise halfway through the bowl I had was chewing what I thought for a moment was a chicken bone, but then came to realize that it was a actual small screw that holds down the counter tops. I was upset and shocked to find that one its disgusting that it was in my food, and two that it was in my mouth and I almost swallowed it. Also potentially cracking one of if not multiple teeth. I then took a picture of the screw in a napkin, and submitted a review to the Mezeh app after they sent a follow up email asking how would I rate my order. After submitting it I received a email back in the morning stating that they were going to review what I reported, and they would let me know the outcome. So they then proceeded to only return my money, and say sorry that they will speak with the employees at the Lake Ridge location. Also they would retrain them. So for me I was really pissed only to find that they think its satisfactory for someone to almost swallow a screw, or possibly crack/break their teeth only to just provide a return on my order. After a follow up email asking them is that the only outcome they find suitable they said yes, and there was nothing else they would do besides what they previously stated which is speak and retrain their employees. I will never eat at the Mezeh establishment again. read more

The food is great. But it's hard to get past the incredibly frustrating customer service and pick up process to enjoy the food. If you want Mezeh... DO NOT ORDER ONLINE AHEAD OF TIME. Just walk in and order. You'll be in and out in 1/10th of the time. I couldn't wait any longer for my food. So I left without half of it. Tried to get a refund. For lunch, I ordered a flatbread wrap with chicken shawarma, sunflower seeds, kale, lemon-mint carrots, caramelized eggplant, roasted corn, and red cabbage slaw with a side of turkish yogurt dip. Somehow they got it all in there and it was fantastic. The meal was so delicious I'm no longer a fan of the other burrito/wrap options out there and it was well worth my sodium allotment for a few days. I also ordered baklava--amazing and well worth my sweet calories for the week. I'm good on food for the rest of the day, the wrap was so filling. Customer Service is Poor Quality , they aren't attentive, have attitudes and seem lost. The lady forgot to put my sauce in the bag and not paying attention almost charged me extra for someone else bowl....the 2 stars is only because the food is decent .... Trashh! I have purvey the previous reviews and I could get with the pricing that yeah it can be a bit expensive. However, the food and the service is ALWAYS on point. (These prices don't shock me as much because I am used to the Navy Yard price point and it's very similar.) I usually get the steak sharwma and it is absolutely delicious! Don't let the naysayers fool you, get you a baklava as a dessert and a drink, you'll experience heaven! read more

New place just opened in lake ridge. It was a little slow to order but after that the process went smoothly. I got a steak/rice bowl and the chicken kabob/rice bowl. Toppings and every else was good. Had to ask for a few extra scoops of some of the toppings but they added without much fuss. Bottled sodas was a little weird but meh - who cares. Overall good and I hope it lasts and keeps improving. IMO they will give Mexican place next door a run for it. I enjoyed my dinner and will be back. read more

I am very happy to have another restaurant in Woodbridge. We stopped by on a Friday about 6:00. It was busy, but there wasn't any control over social distancing while waiting in line to order. One woman apparently thought a mask should only cover the chin. This is my reason for only three stars. People should have been reminded to space out and wear a mask properly. Brand new as of early 2021. The freshest ingredients and healthy food! May have to try your luck on new types of food to choose from until you find a favorite. Great people too. Staff needs to clean the tables a little more often. Prices are what you would expect for exceptional food but portions are huge, especially the wraps. With a wrap, the ingredients are spaced out not smeared. This makes for pleasant surprises of new tastes along the way, so the taste never gets boring. A fast lane makes it a much better idea than table service. Lucky to have them during this time of stress with Covid-19. Just two doors down from McDonalds... so drop the kids off at McD and walk to Mezeh!! read more

This place is generally pretty good! I've gone twice now and the first visit was definitely better than the second. I hope as employees get more comfortable at this new location quality control will be better- my first visit was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly and served perfectly done, excellent quality food! The second visit was a little below that high initial standard, unfortunately. It was a mobile order: the rice was completely missing and the falafel was overcooked (not burnt, but obviously not cooked right) which was a bit disappointing. Everything else was amazing, though! I ordered 2 bowels and 2 pizzas, with service charge and tax etc it came to around $50. It wasn't very pleasant biting on olive pits. I had to make sure my tooth had not been damaged. There were some toppings missing and I am to assume they no longer give pita bread with the bowls. This is the second time ordering and it felt as if the order had been thrown together. read more

Every time I walk in, I am pleasantly greeted by Mr. Cardona and his awesome staff. The food here is always fresh and the service is always excellent and fast unlike other brands. They seem to have a great process in place that anticipates and prepare for their busiest times. I only had one online order mistake, but it was immediately corrected and beyond. So generally I love this particular restaurant in my area and neighborhood. The food is excellent and a healthy delicious choice but I'm giving it a 1 for hygiene reasons. I was in the restaurant the other day during lunch time and there was quite a line. While waiting there was this older man (and YES he was... those the get this GET this) and he was leaning on and OVER the barrier that is between customers and the food. I mean he had his hands, wrist, and a good portion of his forarm OVER THE FOOD and way over the tall barrier. He kept leaning over the barrier and talking and he even did something with his hands as if he had something on them and "sprinkled" into the food. I was in line and mentioned my disgust openly and loudly and another lady mentioned she also saw and noticed the same thing. I was surprised that NO ONE that worked there told him to back up and to get off and way over the barrier. He did so over the meats and the vegetable. Every time he asked for more toppings there he went over the barrier with his hand and talking over the food. Me and the other young lady decided to walk out and eat somewhere else because we now could not trust the cleanliness of the food and we both were completely turned off to eat there. In the future maybe there should be a sign that states NOT to lean on or over the tall barrier or an additional barrier that also drapes over the top of the food. Or train the employees to politely remind and let customers to not lean over the barrier that is protecting the food. Now because of this I'm afraid to even eat there. That's a shame because this was my new favorite guilty free place to eat. Now I question the hygienic nature of the food. By the way the FOOD is actually excellent. I write this review in hopes that they will now enforce customers not leaning over or talking over the food barrier. Obviously it is there for a reason and that is to protect the food. read more

These negative reviews are bugging, except the order having food that the lady is allergic to in it. That is a huge nogo. But other than that you have to understand they just opened and haven't figured out the best way to make online orders and in person orders at the same time. These are new employees trying to learn the biz. If you are expecting chipotle efficiency then go next door. I went a few days before the major opening and my food was amazing. They gave me extra of any veggies I wanted, and the food was fresh. I had never had Mezeh before but now I go at least once a week. I never realized having zucchini on a salad was a good thing. I love mediterranean food so I thought I'd give this spot a try. I ordered 2 bowls, the bowls looked great but the taste was a so bland. I was upset that I purchased 2 bowls, I should have purchased one bowl to try the place out first. The bowls were not good at all, I had to force myself to eat at least half of the bowl. I wouldn't purchase from this location again. The dressings were horrible, they tasted watered down and had no flavor at all. I think the dressing ruined the entire salad! The salad just had no flavor! Cava is my go to spot at least 3 times a week. I'll stick with Cava from here on out! I trashed the 2nd salad, I just couldn't force my self to eat it. read more

I was told to get in line and order again and wouldn't be charged. I wasn't happy but did it since I had paid $50 already for dinner and was offered no other options. Took another 30 mins and 3 different employees to complete my order and they tried to make me pay again. Food was mediocre at best. Falafel was burnt and gross. read more
