Amazing pizza , ridiculously over priced. 2.30 for garlic knots? Manhattan prices for pies and slices. No bang for your buck here !

It was a large,and cheesy...pretty yummy. I was satisfied with the pizza and the service.

I can't count how many times I passed this pizzeria. Then again, every time I've come to Arthur Ave, I've gone to eat at Mike's Deli, shopped at Borgatti's or got pastries from Artuso bakery. So I finally went in and had a few of their gourmet slices along with a plain. I have to say it was very good. Nice big slices, friendly owner and service. Ok experience - I tried a "specialty" slide whith just cheese and tomato sauce which came out to $6 for a mediocre experience, not on par with my Arthur Avenue expectations. Prices from the website are apparently out of date which added confusion at the payment time. Nice outside seating and quite packed but definitely not worth the money. read more

The pizza is good but the prices for specialty slices have become outrageous. I was shocked when they charged me $6 for a Marinara slice. It used to be $4.25 I believe. At these prices, I won't be returning anytime soon. Not even Manhattan pizzerias charge $6 a slice. I can buy whole wheat bread and mozzarella and use homemade sauce and make a better and healthier pizza at home for less money. Good luck Full Moon with those prices. read more

When you walk in the first thing you notice is the comfort the people there seem to be as if they had been there before. You order a slice of plain pizza and not expecting it you realize how the pizza seems so fresh as if the ingredients were made the same day. You realize the crust is perfect. But what you realize most of all is the fact the pizza is not dripping in oil. That is the experience you will have when you have their pizza. read more

I love Full Moon! The owners are great. The owner's daughter actually went to Fordham and it is much better than a cheesy overpopulated dive like Puglsey's when atmosphere takes priority over taste. My friend and I always have to split an eggplant and fresh mozarella sicilian slice because they are both so amazing! They are only open till about 9pm, they sometimes offer marina slices without cheese (for all those vegans). I liked it so much last semester I think I would go about once a week. read more

I've only been here once but I do plan to come again. First time i had the buffalo chicken slice that was really good but then i had half a chicken parm slice and i hate to say it but it kind of lacked flavor. my wife said the same thing. she had a margarita slice which she loved and the chicken parm kinda bland. i will be back no matter what and try some of the other items because everything looked great. read more

One of the very best pizzeria's in the Bronx. The Bronx is the land of good Pizza & Italian food but Full Moon is outstanding. Not a bad slice. The crust is pretty good. Crispy subtle seasoning, it's the cheese and sauce that can use sprucing up. It's not bad cheese and sauce mind you, but if it were spiced up a la DiFara then it would be a great slice. read more

after a day exploring the bronx zoo, the boyfriend and i found our way to full moon pizzeria at the recommendation of a co-worker. i can only remember 1 other time where the pizza crust on my slice of pizza was as thin and crispy as the slice i had at full moon pizzeria. as much as i like doughy carbs, there are just some days where i don't need the extra calories. so thin and crispy is much appreciated! i had the grilled veggies slice, which i haven't seen offered anywhere else. now to fix the problem of pizzerias (almost) never having coke for the boyfriend! read more

Like Giovanni O, i have to agree that it was much better years ago. I still always stop there when shopping the neighborhood, but it has become quite touristy. It used to have exceptional pizza. Now there are many, many places with equal or better pizza, and with much better ambiance. read more

Full Moon has the most delicious cheese calzone I've found anywhere. The crust is perfectly crisp, not doughy and rubbery like most places. The cheese is so fresh and delicious. Living in the Bronx, Full Moon pizza is pretty good & very reliable. These guys know how to make pizza -- and they trust their customers too. That's why you get your own sodas from the case, and just tell them at the end what you had. Very friendly. Their combo pizza is amazing! And their Sicilian is pretty good, though a bit yeasty. Pizza has always in my long memory cost the same as a subway ride. So I got a little annoyed paying 50¢ more than that today. Okay the fare just went up so 25¢. I am annoyed with the MTA too.
