However, I would go with the cheese pizza over the specialty pizzas. The cheese pizza is classic and satisfying enough. Full Moon Pizza is not around the corner for me, but it's authentic to where it is. Full Moon Pizza is classic New York pizza. The slices are bigger than the plates and there are delicious flavors. The service is very fast since the pizzas are pre maid and still warm. And they change up what flavor pizzas they make, they have buffalo chicken pizza, chicken parmesan pizza, and normal cheese pizza.The place feels warm inside and the people are very nice. It is a small place but if you go on a off time there will not be that much people there and you can get a table to enjoy your food. In my opinion there is not much wrong with this place but the one thing I would change would be a little more room inside. Its tight, but it's worth it. read more

We ended up in Full Moon Pizzeria after having a bad experience at another local restaurant. (See my review of Enzo's Restaurant.) The staff is attentive and kind even though it's quite busy. The pizza is good with great, crunchy crust, which I love. The Sicilian has a wonderful, crunch to the crust while being tender inside with a tasty topping. No matter how many times you approach the staff, they are very nice and willing to assist in whatever way they can. We watched as they treated all their customers well. The pizza at the this restaurant is amazing. For me, and me only, quality pizza is determined by the sauce, crust, and cheese in that order. The sauce is delicious and tastes fresh. The crust is thin, crunchy, and chewy on the inside. They place a proper amount of real cheese on the slice to finish it off. You know these days it is hard to find good pizza in the Bronx. I was in the neighborhood getting something's from the Butcher shop(another rare experience in the Bronx) and I stopped by here to have a slice of pizza. Well all I can tell you is that is was good, really good!. It was favorable and the crust was thin, but not hard. I will be making another trip soon. The pizza's good but is it italian? No. It more of an "americanized" version. It's also quite expensive so be ready for that.

I want to start off by saying this place is busy busy busy. Which is a good thing for people like me thAt like fresh ingredients at anytime of the day. When items are flying off the shelf that means less chance of things sitting around and going bad or stale. On that note the garlic knots were very stale and prob some of the WORST garlic knots I have had. The sauce that I had to ask for was average, nothing special. The regular slice that I ordered was average, I'd prob give a 4/5. Tasty but nothing to go out of your way for. I saved the best for last. The chicken parm slice was the BEST chicken parm slice I have ever had. The chicken was diced into small piece which is great. There is nothing I hate more than getting large chunks of chicken in my slice. But these guys def put the effort into making this slice. Thumbs up. The sauce that the chicken parm slice had in it was really ood as well. It definitely tasted different then the sauce that was on side with my garlic knots. Full Moon is a small sit-down pizza place in the heart of the Bronx's little Italy. It's hard to get a seat here in the summer time, so you can always take your slice and soda and sit down at the local park. Orders are filled quickly, the prices are great, and the food is delicious. Yes, the specialty slices are too expensive. That being said, I love love love their Sicilian with fresh basil, tomato sauces and portabello mushrooms. Such a treat. Plus, their regular pies are delicious too, very thin crust and no gross floury pizza dust on the bottom. I have no idea why, but the bottom of their pies are finger-licking good. Full Moon is a GREAT choice if you are on Arthur Ave looking for pizza, even if it is a little too pricey to be your regular go-to pizza joint. Note to Fordham students: Full Moon is not a late night joint, so it isn't going to replace Pugsleys anytime soon. This is definitely the most disgusting pizza I've ever had! I came here with my boyfriend, he ordered the buffalo chicken slice and I ordered the margherita. My boyfriend paid so I didn't get a chance to ask how much it was but after we both tried each others slices he told me $10.00 for these slices was not worth it. They definitely ripped him off, who charges $5 for a re-heated margherita slice where the sauce (or lack thereof) is overly bitter, salty, and generic. The big portion definitely does not compensate for shitty pizza, as a native New Yorker I've had $1 slices that are better than what this disgraceful pizza shop has. This was the most confusing experience I've ever had at a pizzeria and or restaurant EVER. First of all, there is no established line...where it starts, where do I pay, where are the drinks? The guy that took my order may or may not have spoken English since he seemed confused that I wanted to order 5 drinks. When I finally got my pizza, all 5 of us tried to take slices off the pan and the entire toppings just fell off. They were so disorganized that we easily could have walked out without paying...especially since while we were outside, we realized that no one paid. We went back in and paid, but for the most part, it wasn't worth it. The pizza isn't bad...but wasn't great. I probably could have ordered PaPa Johns and have been more satisfied. read more

Hi, I'm from Long island originally from Bushwick Brooklyn. I'm 51 and I've never been to Arthur Ave in the Bronx. I've always wanted to experience their version of "Little Italy" I went on the internet and tried to find the best Pizza that Arthur Ave has to offer. I found two places that people raved about. The first is "Trattoria Zero Otto Nove" and the other is "Full Moon" I gotta tell you I was so disappointed. The regular slice (round)at Full Moon was good. It was crispy and it was a very large slice. The Sicilian slice was terrible. It was very thick and had hardly any sauce. It was very dry, but it did have lots of cheese on it. It was definitely NOT worth a trip back to Arthur Ave. I will stick to my usual trip to: L&B Spumoni Gardens 2725 86th St. Brooklyn, NY 11223 It blows those two places away. Not even close. Located on Aurthur Ave,. this pizzeria serves up some good pies. They are on the pricier side, but still decent nonetheless. The crust is OK, not the best ive had, no that crispy. The toppings are pretty unique with buffalo chicken being one. Slices are pretty big which is a plus. Would come back to try more toppings they offer. read more
