I revisited Dalida as a party of 3 and was incredibly happy with both the food and service that was offered to us. The pistachio coffee, albeit small, is delicious and the perfect brunch drink choice for my boyfriend and I. We had the Greek osetra caviar on the house, breaking bread, challah French toast, Turkish flatbread, arayes kebab, and oysters. The Greek osetra caviar bites were amazing- it's recommended to eat it in one bite. All the flavors explode in your mouth! Super yummy start to the menu- everything here is beautifully plated and designed to make your mouth water. The oysters and their housemade mignonette was delightful. Super fresh and beautiful presentation, I'm always partial to raw oysters whenever they're on the menu. The challah French toast was yummy and came with strawberry syrup on top. The cream filling was light and airy- very melt in your mouth! I would highly recommend this family style for anyone that is craving a sweet treat along with their savory dishes. The arayes kebab came with seasoned fries and spicy mayo that was perfect to cut through the sweetness. Same quality as the last time I came. The Turkish flatbread was airy and soft, and the creamy egg paired well with the cheesy topping. The muhammara and hummus dip for breaking bread paired well with the chubby pita. Our server was nothing but kind. I'm glad that I gave Dalida a second chance and that they did not disappoint. I had no issues with booking my reservation via OpenTable and interactions with their staff were very pleasant.

Dalida is a beautiful restaurant. The interior is absolutely stunning but the food is only mediocre and extremely overpriced for the portion size as well as the flavor. The only thing that was actually good was the appetizer with the spreads and pita bread. Everything else was flavorless and waaaay above asking price. This is a place to have your date take you and you not pay.

This is a fairly upscale restaurant serving Mediterranean inspired cuisine in the heart of Presidio. We made reservations just in case which is a good call, even though for 5pm opening, as otherwise you'll be seated at the bar. We got the breaking bread, octopus and sujuk, lamb chops, and warm irmik helvase cobbler. For drinks we had Saturnalia and shepherd's pipes. The breaking bread is a must get item as it is a giant pita bread with a variety of spreads which all make it so wonderful. The octopus and sujuk is fairly unique, kind of like a carpaccio. The lamb chops were okay - a bit small for the price. The cobbler is fairly hearty and sweet The cocktails are pretty delicious, especially the Saturnalia which is fairly aesthetic and had a milky aftertaste. The shepherd's pipes were a bit watered down. Service is okay - it takes some time to fulfill our requests but understandable as it was a bit busy

Best pita bread and dips! Yes I paid $5 for an extra one and ended up so full I barely touched my main course. We got the prefix lunch menu, one with the short rib pasta dish, shockingly a miss, it was a total salt bomb! I told my friend to return it but she didn't want to bother. I spoke up and they were so kind and gave us baklava. My pork was super flavorful, I wish there was something to soak up the sauce, it was kind of stewed in lots of sauce with I think a small slather of mashed potatoes? On the bottom. I brought it home and finished it for dinner with a piece of bread. The star for me was the birthday girl's free smore dessert, that was yummy!!! I licked the plate clean.

The interior beautiful. The ambiance is a mix of romantic, charming and chic. Service is prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and warm. The menu is organized, elaborate and exciting. The food is simply delicious. Our favorites were the chubby pita from Breaking Bread, the lamb shoulder (special), and the Kayseri Manti. Dalida also gifted a complimentary birthday dessert, which was very kind. In summary, Dalida is a special restaurant providing a memorable dining experience with delicious food and exceptional service. We look forward to another visit.

The lunch was amazing. The octopus was very thinly sliced. The bread came out hot and very soft, it was such a gem! Service was great, the staff changed our plates several times. They explained what's on the menu, made actual recommendations and they were very friendly.

My friends and I dined at Dalida on a Saturday afternoon around 1:45 p.m. and we were able to get seated without a reservation with only a short ten minute wait. We started our meal with a round of cocktails. I tried out their Bodrum Negroni -- cacao infused mezcal, miso red vermouth, satsuma cheong, ferment, saline, and it was a refreshing spin on a classic. It was boozy, but well-balanced. We started our meal with a few items off the "for the table" section of the menu, ordering the the "breaking bread" and breakfast spread". Both items come with a piece of their chubby pita, a super fluffy, thick, freshly made pita. Between these two items, there are a total of ten different dips and bites to try out. The favorites of the table included the muhammara -- a roasted red peppers dip with walnuts, the tahini and molasses spread, and the kaymak -- similar to clotted cream, with jam. If you're coming with a group, I'd definitely recommend ordering these two spreads and an extra chubby pita for $5. Along with the dips, we also got the octopus and sujuk. The knife-work and presentation on the octopus is unlike anything I've ever seen; the dish is beautifully presented and almost too pretty to eat. The octopus is cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed the saltiness and brininess of the olive-caper garnish on top. By this point in the meal, we were actually becoming quite full. For our mains, we shared the Arayes kebab and the hot smoked trout. From the Arayes kebab platter, these shoe-string fries were hands down some of the best fries I've ever had. Reminiscent of McDonald's fries, the ones here are incredibly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and generously dusted with seasoning. Continuing with the pattern of beautiful presentation, the dish is also very aesthetic. The kebab meat is stuffed inside a chubby pita and is grilled to perfection. There's a nice crust on the meat, and kebab is made with with a cornucopia of herbs and spices. I was too a bit too full to try more than a bite of the trout dip, so unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to properly enjoy or evaluate the dishes. Overall, my group had a delicious meal at Dalida. The service here is fantastic, and food and beverage is solid all around. Definitely worth venturing out to the Presidio to try at least once.

So lucky we got reservations for a group of 6. We ordered drinks and a little bit of everything. From the breakin bread, to octopus, to beet salad, to the lamb shoulder, fish, chicken and a couple of desserts. My top favorite has to be the breaking bread, octopus and the black ink pasta. Everything was tasty and perfectly portioned for family style. The desserts were amazing, baklava, chocolate cake and the chocolate tart. Everything was perfectly sweet, meaning not too sweet. :) Got here early and got to walk around and watch the sunset after a full belly.

Second time here, came back to celebrate a friend's birthday! We had a great time and enjoyed the food. The favorites were the octopus & sujuk, and the breaking bread. Must orders in my opinion! We also liked the beet salad. We also tried the pork souvlaki and the steak which were both solid and cooked well but didn't blow us away. The lamb dishes are better in my opinion. For dessert, we got the seasonal sorbet which was raspberry rose and the layered baklava. Both were tasty but the baklava was amazing and the more unique dessert item.

Reading reviews and considering coming here? Make sure to check Opentable to reserve a spot before locking in on this one - most popular times are booked within days of them being available. Parking is free on the Presidio after 6PM, but you do have to pay if you're coming in before then. Inside can get a little loud, and most people actually put somewhat of an effort to dress up! Service was fast and friendly, and we were seated instantly for our reserved time. We celebrated our anniversary here and left a note on the reservation, and to our surprise we were offered a glass of champagne on the house! We ordered the Octopus and Sujuk, Baking Bread, Crab Pasta, and Lamb Chops. The must orders are the octopus and baking bread, as that is their signatures and ones with the most unique flavor profile/presentation. The pastas are pretty basic, and the lamb chop was super tender and flavorful. The lamb is a little gamey, but the potatoes paired with it drowns out the flavor a little. Service was fast for the appetizers, but took a minute for the entrees. Our server was very friendly and patient with us as we asked questions regarding the menu. We felt pretty full afterwards despite the portion sizes looking a little small in the pictures. However, I do not feel like this restaurant has a "replayability" factor - the dishes were all good individually, but nothing out of the uniqueness that you can't find at other middle eastern/mediterranean or similar restaurants. The main difference is the atmosphere.

Really cool space with a modern, open vibe that's perfect for groups. The big windows make it feel bright and airy, and even though it's a large restaurant, the noise level stays surprisingly low. The cocktails are definitely worth checking out. They have creative drinks with flavors like pistachio, rose, and clarified milk, plus a massive 16-page spirits list. The food is a modern take on Middle Eastern, but I'd recommend ordering strategically. If you're with a group, skip the from the land menu because it's individual skewers and get a couple of larger entrées like the lamb shoulder instead. We ordered the entire land menu plus a pasta and still ended up grabbing burgers afterward, so the portions felt pretty underwhelming for the price. The duck dolmas were more of a standout--they come with an unexpected peach sauce. The pork cheek was also delicious- tender and really flavorful. The areyas kebab had good flavor but was a little dry and really needed a sauce. Dessert- I'd skip the baklava. It's napoleon style it's just ight. Service was also disappointing. while the hosts were friendly and attentive, our server was pretty absent throughout the night. Overall, I'd come back for drinks/ brunch

An excellent meal marred by slow service. This second visit impressed me as much as the first (food was probably more exciting). But there were some weird waits between courses, I got appetizers quite a bit earlier than the rest of the table, drinks arrived late... It's such a busy restaurant that I understand why it happened, but it shouldn't be happening at this price point and with the kind of ambition the kitchen has.

Love this place! It's a hot commodity too because of its proximity to the Tunnel Tops and the lawn. So make reservations especially during the weekend. Sayat, the head chef, is a friend of a friend and he's always so welcoming. The food is always on point and the service never fails. Not to mention that the restaurant itself is beautiful and inside of a beautiful building and park. For dishes I recommend pretty much everything. But my personal favorite is their Arayes Kebab (which I still call the Arayes Burger from the early days). Seating outside is only for brunch/lunch so just be prepared.

There was complimentary bread which was insanely good and fluffy and warm plus tahini and an onion tomato sauce I think along with radishes and olives. We are not olive ppl sadly but I tried one and it was pretty okay. The service was great and all the servers were super attentive and accommodating. The Stuffed falafel was so good and huge 1 is enough for 2 people. The mosabaha was very refreshing and so good. The meat combo was good overall and everything was very herbally spiced, I wasn't impressed by the lamb tho but the kebab, hummus, and chicken were great! I haven't had Mousakhan before so not sure how it should taste but to me it was sweet and savory with really well cooked chicken. I honestly felt pretty healthy overall cause I was eating hella veggies and everything tasted so fresh. The kunafa was good we got it crispy and was yummy imo but was a lil oily (I think this is normal tho). Arab food isn't really spicy but it is spiced and very herbal which I felt in the food here, I appreciate that chili sauce is provided for the spice lovers. Overall, would highly recommend. It was about $100ish for everything and they recently increased their prices but tbh the portion sizes are huge and I feel like it is so worth it we had hella leftovers. If we had 4 ppl instead of 2 it would've been perfect portions for everyone.

My guy ordered this and thought it was average. 3/5 LAMB SHISH KEBAB WRAP ~ this was my dish. I ate one half of the wrap and it only held two cubes of lamb meat. The lettuce and tomatoes made the wrap bland. The meat was seasoned, but everything was plain, so it needed more seasoning. Honestly, this was missing flavor! I'll have to add something to it when I eat the rest of this wrap at home. 2.5/5 HALF ROASTED CHICKEN AND RICE ~ Our friend ordered this dish. It needed more sumac. This tasted like plain roasted chicken. Maybe it needs more seasoning while marinating. It wasn't dry, so that's a relief. Rice was ok and it wasn't dry or soggy. 3.5 We've been spoiled and have had better food in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Nothing stood out for any of us. Prices are a bit high for what you get. I booked our table about a month in advance, which turned out to be the right move because the restaurant was bustling during the lunch hour. To start, we ordered four small plates to share among our party of four: meatballs, saganaki, spanakotiropita, and a pair of dips (melitzanosolata and favasalata) with pita. Everything was excellent, and our spread was inclusive of a wide variety of flavors and textures: salty, creamy, acidic, sweet, crunchy. The meatballs and the dips are definitely a must-order and are ideal for sharing. The spanakotiropita were larger and more filling than expected, so if I were to order those again, I'd dial it back and stick with small plates rather than a full-sized entree. The saganaki was a showstopper; it is served sizzling and crackling on a cast iron dish and had a nice salty flavor that allowed the cheese to be served on its own. For my main dish, I ordered the braised goat - which is not something I'd typically order because goat meat is usually tough - but I was intrigued how it was prepared as a stew. The dish almost reminded me of a Moroccan tagine - the goat was braised to peak tenderness and bathed in a slightly fruity and well-spiced sauce; dotted with pieces of melted feta; and served on top of a bed of baked orzo, which was served fresh-from-the oven in a mini cast iron dish. I was so full after our meal that I had to walk it off for a few blocks, but I cannot wait for our next special occasion so we can come back and celebrate with another feast at Kokkari Estiatorio.

We seem to venture out beyond our neighborhood yet with so many great dining spots it was time to…read morestay in our nabe and try Souvla. I have mixed feelings about Souvla, like maybe I ordered the wrong thing? I had the chicken sandwich: It lacked flavor, puzzling since it has bold flavors of fennel, pickled onions and orange. The chicken was finely shredded and plentiful, it just had no taste and it was dry. My son loved his lamb gyro which disappeared in an instant (his big eyes signaled he wanted my sandwich too- I handed it over.) The fries with Greek cheese were great and still hot when we arrived home. The frozen yogurt with olive oil and salt was pucker-your-mouth delicious. Next time we'll dine al fresco and kick back and people watch - and I'll pick something new off the menu. Service could not have been friendlier and food prep, fast! And PS the takeout boxes are really pretty.

I'm generally pretty indifferent about mediterranean food, but this place really impressed me!…read more Every dish I tried had amazing flavors, and everything was prepared perfectly. We started off with the hummus and the moussaka (eggplant and tomato sauce). The hummus was pretty standard, but still great, and the moussaka was SO delicious. This was definitely the standout dish to me, and I'd hiiiighly recommend it. For mains, I was doing Meatless Monday, so I got the super falafel wrap. This wrap was also sooo delicious and massive! The falafel was really flavorful, and all the toppings and tahini sauce were just perfect additions. The restaurant itself is really pleasant and bright, great for pretty much any occasion. Service was also good (you order via QR code, but they bring the food out to you) and prices are reasonable given the quality and portion size. Definitely a new fav spot in SF!

The tables in this establishment are pretty small if you come as a party of two, and that's the part that I've been struggling with because there's nowhere for me to hang my purse usually whenever we're sitting there, and the chairs are metal, so the straps tend to slide off and I just have to end up holding my bag. I've tried their plate and wraps but I'm not blown away by the flavor profiles. The service is okay. You are seated upon entering, but you order through a QR code yourself and then that they just bring out the meal to you.

One of my favorite Mediterranean restaurants that never disappoints!…read more My go-to order is one of the lunch wraps they offer (salmon or chicken, depending on my mood) but both are great and are always made with fresh ingredients! Dish comes with either fried or an arugula salad. This restaurant never misses and service is always friendly and prompt!

We decided to have a birthday dinner here at 7 pm on a weekday evening for 6, due to everyone's…read moreschedules. Bursa's dining area was comfortable with bright lighting and dark blue walls. The service was friendly and welcoming even when our party came at different times. The restaurant wasn't busy given it was a Monday evening, so you would think it would go smoothly. *** OUR PICKS *** COMBO APPETIZER PLATTER ~ hummus, baba ghanouj, haydari, ezme, dolmas, merimek, falafel ~ parts of the platter were cold while the falafel was warm, but they topped it off with a sauce that didn't keep the falafel crispy, instead it softened it. I think the sauce should have been on the side. The rest of the dish was good. 4/5 LAMB KEBAB PLATE ~ this was my dish. I touched my skewers thinking they were going to be hot, but it was surprisingly cold. I'm not sure why skewers would be cold when the food should be hot right off the grill. The lamb was cooked medium rare as I requested, though there was little to no seasoning. So it was kind of gamey and tasteless 3/5 RACK OF LAMB PLATE ~ my partner chose this dish. The lamb was also very light in seasoning. The pistachio rice was interesting and nutty. Asparagus was good. 3.5/5 MIXED GRILL PLATE ~ our friend enjoyed this dish. Maybe a mixed grill is the way to go and some meats cooked and seasoned better than others. 4/5 BEEF KEBAB PLATE ~ the beef was also room temperature and lightly seasoned. 3.5/5 SALMON ~ I tried some of this and it was decent. 4/5 BAKLAVA & CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE ~ Nice birthday surprise and a sweet way to end the meal. Baklava wasn't as crispy or flaky as some I've had, but the honey-pistachio nuts were good. Chocolate mousse cake was decadent and moist. 4/5 Beautiful presentation on the plating of our food, though the timing for the food wasn't quite right as a few plates were served room temperature and not hot. However, the surprise desserts were a nice touch in helping us celebrate a birthday!
