On average, I see her every two weeks but sometimes more if I have a special engagement or travel plans in the horizon. Now, on to her skills of this trade. Some people acquire a particular skill set through rigorous training and certifications and while that may be true in this case -- I would argue that she is simply gifted. I often tease her that she's a perfectionist because she doesn't cut corners and never settles for just the average. She focuses on ensuring that each lash extension really matches her client's lash line because as we all know, no pair of eyes are ever the same. I appreciate how she makes the style of the extension work to bring more of a dramatic and elevated look without making it overbearing to the face. And overall, I always remind her how sweet and kind of a person she is. She's down to earth and speaks from the heart when we talk about life, family, travel, relationships, etc. -- I'm so lucky to have found her. I honestly never give reviews, but im so disappointed with my visit yesterday at this salon. I recently had a disappointing experience at MH Beauty for eyelash extensions that I feel compelled to share. My appointment was scheduled for 5:00 PM, but I wasn't attended to until 5:30 PM, which was frustrating right from the start. The only positive aspect of my visit was the man who welcomed me into the salon; he was super friendly and helpful, genuinely making me feel comfortable before the process began. Unfortunately, that positive experience didn't carry over into my appointment. When the technician finally began the process, it quickly went downhill. She seemed rushed and a bit irritated because of how late it was. I originally asked for volume and showed her a picture, she gave me classics. She ended up gluing the lashes directly to my eyelid instead of my natural lashes, which was not only uncomfortable but also concerning. I had specifically requested a certain style, but what I received was far from it. The lashes were stiff and lacked any curl, making them look odd and unflattering on my eyes. When I expressed my concerns, the technician's attitude was a bit rude. She kept on sighing about the process, and I was apologizing, which now looking back is ridiculous because I didn't do anything wrong. The entire process felt drawn out, and I was left feeling frustrated. Today, I woke up to find my eye bloodshot and in pain. The lashes were glued far too close to my lash line, causing significant irritation. I had no choice but to visit another salon for removal. The technician there was shocked at the quality of work she saw. She struggled to remove the lashes because they were really glued to my skin, and she mentioned that it was some of the worst work she had encountered. Overall, I cannot recommend M & H Beauty for eyelash extensions. Despite the warm welcome, the lack of professionalism, poor technique, and rude service left me with a terrible experience and a painful aftermath. read more

From the moment I arrived, the customer service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, which immediately made me feel comfortable. This was my first time getting a head spa, so I honestly didn't know what to expect, but I absolutely loved it! I felt so comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire experience. I want to share my experience with MH and her eyebrow services, and I must say, I was quite disappointed. I showed her the picture she used for her advertisement, expecting great results, but unfortunately, her work fell short. It was rather sloppy, and on top of that, we faced a significant language barrier, which made communication quite challenging. To address the initial issues, I went back for a touch-up since she didn't quite achieve the nano strokes I had requested. However, shortly after, I had to travel to Korea for business. To my dismay, while I was there, several people pointed out that one of my eyebrows had a stroke that was too long, and the other one had noticeable smudges. After a two-month absence, I returned to the Bay Area and approached MH to fix the problems. Surprisingly, she insisted on charging me an additional $150 to correct the mistakes she made. I think the pictures I have speak for themselves, and it's disheartening to have to pay for someone else's errors. read more

After years of coloring and perming my hair, I even had some small areas of irritation. Based on the results, my therapist selected products that were specifically suited for sensitive scalps. The entire treatment was incredibly relaxing, and the massage pressure was just right. I felt completely relaxed and almost fell asleep again. After that, I had a mini facial. My esthetician, Chloe, was so attentive. She shaped my eyebrows and customized the treatment based on my skin's condition, including deep cleansing, hydration, and soothing care. We finished with a calming sheet mask, and my skin felt noticeably more hydrated and glowing afterward. Overall, I was really impressed with everything--from the atmosphere and service to the treatments themselves. The scalp treatment and mini facial together cost around **$140**, which is a great value for the Bay Area. They also have a weekday promotion: from Monday through Friday, you'll receive a complimentary manicure when you book either a facial or a scalp treatment. She began by assessing my scalp and explaining its current condition. The treatment was very thorough, and she provided helpful advice for my thinning hair. The studio itself is a very private and zen-like setting, and it really just feels like everything was tailored just to you feeling comfortable and relaxed. I typically just get a haircut from her but based on the experience she's provided, I have no doubt her other offered services are nothing but fantastic experiences too. Highly recommend.
