Went over pre and post instructions. Showed her my inspo, she took some pics of my lips before and after. Nurse Michelle was my lip injector and she is as thorough as can be. Says if I want more and not satisfied with the results, come back to see her. I was so so scared. I work in Peds and give vaccines every day. She broke it down in a few syringes and was very gentle. I have a slight asymmetry in my smile, and over the years I've had a handful of plastic surgeons and injectors try to correct it with a tiny bit of Botox. Almost everyone overcorrected it. Valerie took the time to really figure out what was happening, asked questions no one else had thought to ask, and ultimately used half a unit in exactly the right spot. It was perfect. That is pretty representative of my experience with her in general -- she understands facial anatomy and movement so incredibly well, notices tiny details, and never seems interested in doing more just for the sake of doing more. She's also shockingly knowledgeable across so many different areas of aesthetics. Many providers in the industry seem to specialize in certain areas, but Valerie somehow knows so much about everything. V&Co is also the only practice I've encountered that has its own ultrasound, so Valerie can actually visualize filler beneath the skin rather than guessing where it is. I really appreciate that she's invested in something like that; it's not something you routinely find even in plastic surgery offices. I also started doing microneedling with Elisa and love her. She is so sweet and incredibly thorough. I had microneedling done at another practice in Nashville, and Elisa was noticeably more detailed -- she takes her time and makes sure she actually treats every area rather than rushing through the appointment or missing the edges. I'm looking forward to doing more sessions with her. Courtney at the front desk is always so kind, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating, too. They just have the best team here. You can argue the treatments are pricy, but buying packages will get you a discount. I just think that's how the industry works so always get packages if you can. This place has a variety of treatment options, though they don't offer something like subcision, which is a more-involved procedure. But I'll just get that somewhere else and continue to come here for other treatments. Of course, they've recommended fillers and such for me. Rha redensity is like one. But they've been respectful that I prefer treatments like fraxel laser and such. There is a reason why they recommend filler though, because it does show faster results than others. The rha redensity provided the most improvement in a shorter time. They also have the skincare you need to purchase with ease. You're going to say those are expensive but they're not selling you products like La mer cream for $400. There is a parking lot, and there's always been space when I went, but the traffic getting there can be a bit much. All in all, I recommend doing at least one treatment here to see how you like it. While I was only about 20 minutes away from the office, I received a text message saying my appointment was being canceled. I immediately called the office because I was already on my way. The receptionist assured me everything was fine and told me to come in anyway, saying they would "work something out." After I arrived, I was told by the receptionist very rudely too there wasn't enough time to numb the area before my filler and that I would have to go through it without any numbing medication. I found that completely unacceptable. Their scheduling issue should never become the patient's problem, especially when it involves unnecessary pain. Only after I firmly objected then she suddenly decide they could numb the area after all. That tells me it was possible all along, but I had to argue just to receive the standard level of care. This entire experience was disorganized, stressful, and unprofessional. Canceling an appointment while a patient is already on the way, then asking them to accept a painful procedure because the office was behind schedule, is not how patients should be treated. I hope they improve their communication, scheduling, and respect for their patients' comfort and time. Very unprofessional and disrespectful receptionist... I felt discriminated im always very respectful to everyone but it seemed like she just didn't like me that's why she was giving me hard time
