I ordered the salmon al chipotle. Delicious! I think it'll be my go to from now on. Service was good, food came out fast, my only complaint is how loud it was in the restaurant. Besides that, it was a good experience all around.

Still good quality food and good service. The tables are clean and cleaned quickly after someone leaves. Typical Mexican vibe with lovely lamps. They have lunch specials that I order. This time I got a chicken burrito with beans and rice. Plenty of chips and salsa is not too spicy. Plenty of parking, never had to wait for a table. I will continue to come here often.

I've dined at both Morrisville locations and I'm sold. Good food quality, fast service, and table-side guac just like I like it. Carnitas tacos for me - every time. Did I mention the Mexican Coke in a bottle? Large, clean dining room. Full bar. Yep, I'll be back.

Good drinks. $5 Wine Sangrias are a must! Most of the drinks are under $10 including a gin Mexican mule I had the bartender create for me. I enjoyed my Chimichanga entree. Very delicious. Great service here. Very fast service. I enjoyed the food and experience. Various TVs with different games playing are also a plus as something to engage in while dining at the bar.

First time visiting this location. The service was wonderful from the moment I walked in. Everyone was so nice and attentive. The food was good. I ordered the grilled chicken with rice and small salad. The salad was a bit spicy for me and I would have liked the chicken breast to be a bit more but it was fine. The place is decorated nicely and it's easy to get to and they have in and outdoor seating.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted and seated. There was no wait! The waiter was ready to take my order and gave me time to decide what I want. I ordered the passion fruit margarita and steak fajitas. 10/10. This is my second time at this location and both times it wasn't that busy. The food was soooooooo good! This location of MiCancun is my least favorite however the staff is the reason it gets 3 stars. The management is always available and willing to ask how things are. The waitresses are not as "happy" as other locations. The food isn't as good. Not sure if it's because of the location or if it is the clientele on that side of town but I prefer the ones in Morrisville and over by Cornerstone Village.

Didn't know I was a chicken taco fan until I ate here. The absolute best Hispanic food I've eaten. Their chips even set them apart from other places. Their drinks were phenomenal including a watermelon margarita that had me feeling like I was on the beach. It's perfectly strong and sweet as a margarita goes but server in an actual watermelon for two. All of the sides were delicious. Mark is the boss of recommendations. I highly recommend the staff here who took great care and showed no sign of lack of courtesy. Great restaurant. We will be back for sure! read more

Lunch for one and I'm surprised! Interesting, well priced menu that included a few unusual items. Ordered the carnitas taco plate that had two good size tacos that were better than many others I've had in restaurants. Plate came with choices of tortilla soup, rice and beans, salad or sopa de elote. I ordered the elote and enjoyed it. Love this place for lunch. Decent outdoor seating. Cheaper than chipotle (sorry, that's a low bar). Authentic with the right splash of Americano. (Not Esmeralda level of authentic, but I still love this place with it's Americanized charm.) I get the tacos + chicken soup each time. Totally worth it. read more

Mi Cancun is a new favorite for our family. The service is very fast (in and out in under an hour), the prices are extremely reasonable, and they have a huge menu. Order any of their dishes with steak in it. I don't know what they do to make their steak taste so good, but it is incredibly yummy! read more

Not sure if this is the new one or the old one in Cary but the food at the new one is even better than the old one. Stopped in when another restaurant we wanted to go to was closed. Food and drinks amazing. Service is excellent. The flan is much better at the new one than the old one. My date told me it was the difference between using milk and cheese. You can't go wrong with either location but if you can hit up the newer one you should. read more

Forgot 2 items in takeout order, we called and they said to come back and they'll throw something in to make up for it. We came back and it took 40 mins for the food. There was also nothing to make up for it, not even an apology. Food was subpar. Wont be back. read more

Came here during my visit to Raleigh area. Hands the best Mexican food I have had in quite some time. Simple and straightforward. Flavorful yet not overdone with necessary seasoning. They don't serve food, so it's a good place to come after dinner. The ambiance is simple, a wooden bar and now that they have expanded, they have some tables as well. This past trip was the most crowded I've ever seen it in there, but the service was still quick and attentive. This bar is a staple for me.

While the food is on the pricey end, the portion sizes make up for it and the quality is there. On my first visit, I tried their Tres Amigos dish. It is basically a mix grill with shrimp, steak and chicken. It came with rice, beans, and veggies. The meats were super flavorful and the rice and beans were actually great! I hate it when a Mexican place just dumps overcooked rice and goopy beans and calls it a day. The veggies were very clearly frozen and came from a bag, wasn't all that excited by that. I think arroz con pollo (ACP) is one of the simplest, yet, most delicious Mexican dishes. It is chicken, cheese and rice, how can you mess that up? Mamacita does their ACP justice. The chicken is tender, there is a nice balance between the cheese and rice, and it is just a great combination altogether. They also do a decent job with their birria tacos (although wasn't the biggest fan of the consume) and their churrasco plate. They even top it with a legit salad, not just the chopped lettuce and tomato. In the end, I am always full and satisfied with the meal. I certainly think this is worth a visit. Oh, I forgot to mention everyone's favorite thing about the place, they have a robot server! Definitely very cute.
