Are you looking for a place for some comfort in rice, beans and fresh fresh chips? I wasn't but happened upon this place during one very confused and hangry afternoon. Got the huevos mi casa which was.. so rich and fried and fat and just what cured the hunger. There's so much fresh refillable chips and salsa that I filled up on it along with the scoop of guac. The cheese enchiladas were also business, just like the place mama took you to when you were little and full of wonder. I love that when you ask for a to go box they automatically give you more salsa and chips to satisfy at least one more meal. You can really feel the family at Mi Casa! read more

UPDATE: Not impressed by the lack of any real internal accountability. What you are describing did not happen. Your manager cancelled the original order without realizing it and therefore the driver could not deliver it. She refused accountability and doubled down on arguing with a customer instead. I would suggest recording business calls and listening to how your manager speaks to customers when you aren't around. As a business owner myself, I'm certain any owner would fire her on the spot. ORIGIONAL: The manager here on 1/21/26 conducts herself like a 13 year old child. Ordered on door dash. Waited 30m. At driver pickup, my order was cancelled by the restaurant and a new order was started. Waited another 30m. Driver attempted pickup and they refused to provide the order. Driver called me and then they got on the phone. The staff was arguing with me and telling me they have made the order 3 times and gave it to 3 different drivers. I told them what I was seeing in my order history. She continued to tell me, the customer that I wasn't understanding her perspective! I explained I have paid for dinner and waited an hour only to be told they won't provide the order. I told her that she should not be complaining to her customer but instead to DoorDash. She said "fine we'll make the order again but don't call back!" I never even called them. The driver called me and they got on the phone to go off on me. They don't even deserve to be in business when they conduct themselves like that. read more

I really wanted some soup and you can't go wrong with chicken tortilla soup. I placed an order to go and took it home to have. They packaged it very nicely. Soup in 1 container, avocado/sour cream in another, and tortilla strips/cheese in another. Combined everything and had a delicious, hearty soup. The meal came with chips and salsa, which I appreciate, but the chips were sort of stale. Also, the salsa was kind of like white ppl salsa- needed more spicyness for sure. read more

Mi Casa has been a family favorite for as long as I can remember. I grew up coming here with my grandparents, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. The restaurant recently went through a major glow-up, and it feels like a whole new space! The waiting area is smaller now, but the dining area has a fresh, modern, and more open feel. It looks great! The service remains excellent. Our server was attentive, and our food arrived quickly. And of course, you can never go wrong with another basket of chips and salsa! Our Server Lexi was great very attentive and knowledgeable of their menu. Our food was oook I personally don't believe there was enough protein in our Burrito's. There was Little chicken and shrimp in our Drunk Burrito and Shrimp Burrito. The sauce on top of the Drunken Burrito was good. I'm huge on Chips and salsa, I honestly was not a fan of the salsa here it taste like Tomato Paste and has a sweet flavor. Not a big fan. The chips taste were fresh and hot. Had a Strawberry margarita, not strong at all. Not sure if I'll take the 45 minutes drive to come back here again. But I'm sure it's great for locals. If you want food served out of a can and warmed up and buried under broiled cheese, make your way over to Mi Casa! Everything tasted like it came out of a jar, the chicken in the enchiladas was definitely some rotisserie chicken, the guac was from a tub and the salsa from a can. The food portions are great, with the veggie burrito being very good! The guacamole appetizer, although a gigantic portion seemed a bit over priced and was just kind of thrown at us, rather than sold to us, since the chips and salsa were just average. It is definitely a family oriented type atmosphere, nice and cozy but trying to get out of there or any service is going to take you forever, so plan for spending an extra unwanted 30 minutes just waiting around. We went right before the dinner rush with only half the restaurant occupied, yet the service was incredibly slow, it took us at least 5-10 minutes before we could ever find our server on each occasion (getting to go boxes, the check, additional napkins etc). Newly remodeled! And not for the better in my opinion. Before, the ambiance was semi quiet and quaint...now....its all open and VERY LOUD. So loud that it takes away from the experience of eating there. I'm not sure the generous portions and good tasting food is enough to go back and leave with a mild case of tinnitus. Came here for lunch (usually I only eat dinner here). Haven't been here in years and craved Mexican food. The food was delicious as always, portions bigger than my tummy can handle. Still managed to eat most of it though. Server, I believe his name was Xavier, was attentive and proved great recommendations. Didn't realize this place was so popular at opening. We have been going to Mi Casa since they opened! This place has always offered fabulous tacos, enchiladas, beans and margaritas and the people there have, over the years been consistently friendly, welcoming and treated us like family. Their recent remodel brightens up the place and makes it feel more friendly! We love the big burro photo in the Burro Room, so creative and fun to look at! All the changes give it a more contemporary, upbeat atmosphere! Shasta is amazing and knows our orders by heart and Ryan always has a friendly hello and stops by our table to chat! Wow, first time here! Never noticed this was a Mexican Restaurant. I'm a local and I usually dine at El Matador when craving Mexican food and delicious margaritas. 5 stars for food. I got the 2 item combo- DELISH! But corn salad, not so yum. 1 star - Watermelon marg was not good. Tasted old and I know most people complain about ice portion but this literally had melted ice floating on top. It was warm and tasted watered down. Which means the juices were most likely sitting out all day. I came in around 3:10pm to wait for my Bundt cake order before picking up my kids from school at 4:30. It took almost 15 minutes for Javier to greet me. He immediately took my order since I had time to read through the entire menu. He dropped off my drink, next time I saw him, he dropped off my food. I was obviously killing time and trying to enjoy this restaurant. He finally came by and asked to remove my plate as he also dropped the check. He came back almost immediately and took my card. Now I'm feeling rushed and it's only 4:05pm. He came back and asked if I had signed the check yet? I said no, sorry I'm not ready. Then his coworker who was taking over his section came back to my table almost immediately asking me to rush and sign the check. Which I thought was VERY RUDE! Can't say I would come back because of those two. My check was only $35? To be rushed with an empty restaurant? All bad things must come an end..... That said, I just had the worst carne asada enchilada in my 77 years on this planet. After dining here since the mid-70's, we have to pull the plug on Mi Casa. The beef inside this was the worst ever. Gristle and fatty meat that I couldn't even chew. (yes, I do have a full mouth of real teeth). Like it was never marinated at all. Not only that, but the tortilla it was wrapped in was tough as well. Had to cut it with a knife to get a bite. Way over-cooked. This was so bad I had to ask the server to replace the entire meal with a cheese enchilada. The place was a ghost town as well. No wonder. No issue with the server.....just the food. The food is cool. I just wish they would add a little sauce on the meat in their enchiladas. The ground beef ones are always dry. The cheese enchiladas are horrible because the cheese is never melted in them. The tacos are good but they always fall apart. So you end up eating them in pieces. The thing that pisses me off though are the chips are always stale. It's as if they get the old ones off on the to go orders. And that's so wrong.
