This place is our Mexican food Go-To!! With a Spanish style feel and music playing to add to the ambiance you can't go wrong. SERVICE: They are always friendly here with very quick service and a family feel. FOOD: Very authentic food and lots of choices. Although we usually end up getting the same thing, we have never had something we did not like. Their chips and salsa is BOMB!! Local place for Highlanders but you are welcome to experience our little secret ;)

Great service, easy parking, delicious flavors, reasonable prices- what else could you ask for? If you're in this area and craving Mexican food definitely check them out.

First timer. Walk in. This place is across Walmart shopping center. So maybe come here before you go shopping and walk it off at Walmart. I came with family to try this place out on whim. We were looking for a place that had shrimp cocktails and was not closed for the day. Thanks to Yelp, I found this gem. We got sat right away in the back area. They had live music playing & their food was delicious! It's a bit on the pricey side but it's worth it. I liked that they brought out chips and salsa for the table; their salsa was good! The server was amicable, I had no complaints.

Wednesday music was amazing. We finally made it out when it was happening. Wednesdays from like 530-830. The gentlemen who performed were really good and did a mix of Latin music and older hits. It was great! Will be back...

Mi Cocina , it should be called Mi Cochina .absolutely horrible ! I could literally taste the flour inside the chile Colorado. No flavor whatsoever taste like flour sauce . The Chile verde that my wife says it came out of a can. It had no spice to it no life no flavor this place is garbage never again.

The place is by Bear Springs Hotel. Not many restaurants around the area but I am glad it is here. Staff is friendly and service is fast. They have seating inside and outside. They have plenty of vegetarian options. I usually get the bean and cheese burrito plate and it is delicious and a huge serving. I definitely look forward to returning.

I wish I had taken a photo, but I ordered the chilaquiles with red sauce. When it came out it looked plain, missing the toppings. Tasted like straight up tomato sauce on chips. Missing a lot of flavor. I love chilaquiles so was really disappointed. The steak it came with was pretty decent tho. They charged ~$4 for tap water which I was surprised about. Ceviche wasn't too bad and the ambiance was nice with live music. Overall not a horrible experience, but just really disappointed about the chilaquiles (and slightly annoyed about being charged for tap water).

Excellent atmosphere, food and service. Came in a little after 11am on Tuesday for a breakfast burrito and restaurant had a few other tables already going. Service was quick and attentive. Food was fresh and tasty. Wish we lived closer to dine here more often.

Today my husband and I came back to Fuego Cravings ( we went on Friday too for the first time)…read more because we just couldn't get through the weekend without a buirria taco and a campechano taco, one to eat there and one to go for lunch tomorrow . We've eaten a lot of Burria around California and Fuegos is ON POINT! Tender, juicy, with flavor richer than any we've tried! The consome they give you for dipping on the side is more than plenty, so rich and delicious. Best way to enjoy is to get the 2 taco birria with rice (yum) and beans with a drink all for one price. Today we met Maria who took our order and spoke with us about the food. I also am taken back by the the friendly and attentive service we have received both times. I could see how proud Maria was when she was talking about making the various dishes. All made with love and it comes through in the taste of the food. I know I sound like a broken record but I just can't believe we have this restaurant in our local area and haven't crossed its path until now. I'm glad we did though better late than never. I highly recommend Fuego Cravings Highland to even the most critical Mexican foodie.

Hubby was going to order some food to-go until he saw a mandatory service fee is added to everyone's check. "For What"? They said its to help the restaurant lol Of course it is because you're charging more for nothing. So we decided to go grab some grub from somewhere else instead. Like I get prices are high everywhere but we refuse to pay service fees for nothing. I could see if we were going to dine in and we we're a party of 5-6 or more...but charging these types of fees for nothing. Is no bueno!

Super flavorful and well seasoned. There is a small parking lot inside/behind the business. Anyways. I wish they had ONE salsa that wasn't spicy. Maybe the green tomatillo one was mild but other than that theyre all spicy. My husband's burrito was fire. He used the red spicy salsa. My tacos were fire. After a long week and zero desire to cook on a Friday night, I finally decided to give it a try. When I pulled up, the line was surprisingly short, which felt like a good sign. The order window is right out front, and the menu is simple and familiar: tacos, burritos, sopes, tortas, quesabirria. I ordered a little bit of almost everything: asada street tacos, a bean and cheese burrito, beans and rice, an asada mulita, an al pastor sope, and a quesabirria. Prices were reasonable, and I spent under $50 for the whole spread. Food came out in about 15 minutes and was packed neatly. The disappointment started once I got home. There was no salsa in the bags, which already put us at a disadvantage. Only then did I realize there's apparently a salsa bar inside along with a small seating area, something you don't see from the front order window. Had I known that, I would've grabbed what we needed before leaving. Then we opened the tacos and realized they came completely plain... no onion, no cilantro, nothing. Just tortillas and meat. Not exactly what I expected. Visually, everything else looked fine, so I was hoping the flavor would make up for it... but it didn't. Everything tasted bland, like the seasoning took the night off. The only thing I halfway enjoyed was the beans and rice, and my family felt the same way. Maybe my expectations were too high based on the crowds I always see, but everything tasted like tortillas, meat, and cheese... and not much else. I'll give them credit for fair pricing and quick service, but that's about it. I really wish the cashier had mentioned that the tacos come plain or pointed me toward the salsa setup. Overall, not the experience I expected, and not one I'd rush back for.
