This restaurant is very Instagrammable! There is dramatic art in every corner and even the ceiling of the restrooms are artsy. Someone behind us ordered drinks and they came with firework and so much drama. The servers are sweet and cheerful. A lot of them sounded like they are more comfortable speaking Spanish over English, however, they all communicated well and made our experience enjoyable. Someone beside us was celebrating their birthday and the staff came in with sombreros and an In house Mariachi band to make it special for them! The food is pretty average. Corn chips aren't the best. Salsa is too liquidy. I was thrilled to see mushroom tacos on the menu, but it certainly lacked flavor. Stopped by to eat their Cincinnati Taco week offerings. I was seated immediately on the patio & ordered a Pepsi. The server brought delicious tortilla chips & salsa which I snacked on while waiting for the food. I ordered all 3 tacos; Asada Street Taco, OMG Taco!, Birria Taco. I also ordered a side of shredded cheese (2 of the street tacos didn't come with cheese). The meal came out in about 10 minutes. All 3 were delicious. I couldn't finish them so I got a to go box. Went with a girl for a date, never been at one of these locations but i can safely say it was CONSTANTLY LOUD with birthday nonsense - couldn't even talk or hear my girl in our conversation . The food looked ok EXCEPT i went home puking and felt sick . I also specifically asked the lady at front to split our check since NOBODY ASKED IF WE WANTED OUR CHECK SPLIT ? she clearly couldn't understand english well cause she couldnt comprehend my request at all - found out when she took my credit card and processed it for whole bill ?? Thankfully my girl just paid me separately . Ill give stars for attentive staff, but other than that, i wont be back . Get someone who can understand billing requests and please check on food processes so nobody else gets sick . read more

First visit and really enjoyed. First I'd like to say how I love the decor it's cute everywhere the ceilings the bathroom even outside. Beautiful day, so got seated on the patio. Ordered a coconut margarita Was very surprised by the presentation of my cocktail.wow! Personally , I don't care for fruit so I took it home to my mom and she loved it. The drinks are pricey but worth it. It came beautifully garnished with lots of fruit and small orchid. Fun. Fresh made yellow corn chips and salsa were delish and not spicy. I dont like much spicy so perfect. we both liked our entrees but mine was a bit too spicy for me. Great flavor. Service was great. Definitely coming back. read more

My family and I were in tonight for Cinco de Mayo. Haven't been in many years. I have never been to your location. Our bill was $75. and I guess with the gratuity it came out to be $101. Our server failed to tell us there was a gratuity added and it was more than 18% did not give back the itemized receipt. Could not get him to come to our table. Yes, there were seven of us on a busy night, but not sure he felt the need to put a gratuity over 18%. Would not be a problem if I did not know they only take 18% and the service was so rude! Let's start with how incredible the inside of this establishment is, it is kind of crazy the amount of unique colors, paintings and characters there are inside. We stopped by during daylight hours but I'm sure this is even more colorful during the evening. We dropped by in a Saturday around noon, not very busy so service was immediate and somewhat attentive. One of my brothers had been here a few times and had the shrimp dish for lunch with us like $11 during the week days but they add an additional $3 on the weekends? Not too sure what this is but the dish was delicious. Prepare yourself as they play the music super loud in here. With so few people, we asked them if they could turn the speaker volume down a bit and they did this immediately with no reservations. Birthday celebrations are kind of fun here as we watched somebody else get celebrated for their birthday. Lots of entertainment. I'd go back for the shrimp dish. read more

WOW!!! Honestly, you could come here and have a great meal based on the experience alone! The interior decor is so over-the-top in the best way, and the drinks!!! Invited here for an arranged dinner, the occasion being a friend's birthday. She'd hoped that everything would be according to her wishes but neglected to take into account the language barriers and the level of activity in the restaurant. You can plan the plan, you just can't plan the result. All things considered, food was American-generic Mexican-inspired. Definitely plenty of it. But nothing stood out other than the noise, the faux Mexican birthday singers, and the level of alcohol presented in their drinks. read more

I've been to mi Cozumel numerous of times and I have never had a experience like this, first of all we walk in and there is no one there to greet us took us about 3minutes to get seated when it wasn't busy at all, we overlooked that not the biggest problem, then we sat down we got asked what we wanted to drink and one of the margaritas came out wrong so we asked for it to be remade she gave us attitude and walked back to the bar. young girls got sat by us and ordered margaritas they weren't id and got there drinks before we got the one our server messed up on at that point we were more then mad but again we just wanted a nice dinner so we waited it out we got our food it was okay but it was not very hot temperature wise like they promise on their social media, our server was more then annoyed when we kept telling her there were problems again I've been to mi Cozumel numerous of times And I have never experienced such bad service especially because our server is part owner it really shows the amount of respect they give their customers and the people the depend on to make there restaurant make money on the way out I asked my servers name she did not tell me so I had to ask someone else they said her name was Eulalia and I really think mi Cozumel needs to look at how their owners treat people or they will be going out of business this was ridiculous and I will never return because of our server and how crappy her service was. Her service was so crappy and she was just so rude and it just ruined my whole meal. read more

I absolutely love this place. It's new to the area and I love the atmosphere and I love all the decorations. I like it when I get a fruity drink and they bring it all decorated. They would probably get at least 1 more star if they could get at least 1 of my orders right or food tasted good. I usually order carry out on lunch, and not once has my order been right. The last time I ate there, they brought my food with raw tomatoes. I told them I can't eat raw tomatoes. Instead of at least changing the plate and making it look like they didn't scrape the tomatoes off, they brought the same plate, just less tomatoes. Prices are crazy ridiculous. A small cantarito was $35. If 1 person at the table orders guacamole, they charge everyone and charge gratuity on a 1 person check. read more

Amazing interior. More of an experience than just 'decorating'. Food was excellent: carnitas tender w/ lovely spices, the chicken quesadilla at the table was labelled 'best ever' and the creamy shrimp dish disappeared. Food is very good. Usually got the crispy veggie bowl which actually includes a large variety of veggies, not just peppers and onions as I've had in some other local places. Husband orders various beef dishes and has enjoyed them. HOWEVER, more recently the music is uncomfortably loud. The waitress couldn't hear us and we had to shout to give our order. We couldn't hear her, and she had to repeat herself while cupping my ear. We asked her if they could turn it down. She just smiled. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. We were hoping it was a one-time issue. We returned today and could hear it blaring in the parking lot, so we turned around and went elsewhere. Came here for the first time since their opening, and it was PHENOMENAL! Amazing service- the staff was very friendly and checked on us frequently. The menu was endless. I truly couldn't make a decision because of the options they had. The portion sizes were HUGE and the food was delicious. I didn't get a margarita, but I definitely will the next time I go.
