Having been to Guatemala many times I love their cuisine, especially the black bean purée. I have had more than my fair share of black bean and no place perfected like in Guatemala. Saying that my friend took me here I was pleasantly surprised. We had an array of dishes, including, the pupusa and the breakfast platter and every single dish was excellent and very well-made. The best of it is that the black beans that came with the breakfast platter that the excellent beans I had in Guatemala. I have lots of people from all races dining on this excellent food Prices were very good There is only street parking. If I'm back in the area, I would love to come back here. Each table has a different map of Guatemala. I was trying to find the places I've been.

Recently we had dinner at Mi Guatemala again....the Churrasquito is still my favorite dish....it comes with rice, black beans, salad and tortillas (I asked for ripe plantains instead). The dish was really tasty, unfortunately, the ripe plantains were not ripe nor sweet...what a let down. They do offer complementary chips and salsa to start, the spicy one is really spicy, so be careful if you can not handle spice...Scoville scale warning.....LOL... The Churrasquito was $16.99, still a good deal for all you get....some friends got the Camarones Empanizados and the Mojarra frita and both loved their seafood dishes... Merary was our server and she was sweet, efficient and very pleasant. Small private lot to park, but lots of street parking in front of the restaurant.

Don't even think about it to hard, this place is worth trying ! Food/Drink: First of all a place that has complimentary chips and salsa is a place for me, and they give spicy and mild salsa! Delicious! The food is to die for specially the churasco which btw they offer a mini size aswell. It comes with a soup, salad to start ! Then they bring the entree which came with the meat, rice, roll taco , beans, and a side of tortillas. Like let's be forreal now all that included for one entree like how can you go wrong ? My friend said his fish meal that also came with the sides was delicious. The drinks were delicious ! The margaritas were amazing ! I got a little buzz with one and decided to get another, i jokely told our waiter "strong" and the second round he brought us they did just that STRONG! And I loved it because most places will not even do that for you. I definitely recommend the margaritas and also there slushee lemonade is one of my favorites and it's the same size as the margs ! Location: There parking lot is pretty small, but there is plenty of street parking so no need to worry ! The place itself has traditional Guatemalan decor , and has plenty of tables. It's casual , but also nice for a first casual date Service: 10/10 our server was amazing, he was extremely attentive and I wish I remembered his name for him to get credit, but honestly he's the best server there ! Overall , I will always recommend this place , one of my favorites in PVD.

I enjoy this place every time they have a friendly staff, mainly Spanish speaking (best to know some spanish), their helpuful with any menu questions. Delicious authentic Guatemalan food with large portions, good service, but be aware going there for brunch on the weekend they can get pretty packed and service can be very slow orders taken within 10-15min, 40min-1hr for food to arrive. The restaurant is well kept and an authentic Guatemalan feel.

10/10 for everything! Service was great and atmosphere was very relaxing. We were greeted immediately and soon after tortilla chips were brought out for the table. We ordered two plates, el paisano and el granjero and some drinks. Both dishes were delicious perfect and had all the right flavors. The plantains were perfectttt because it wasn't too soggy, to burnt, or too sweet either. (Yes, I'm super picky about plantains lol). The plates were huge, but the food is addicting that you can't help eat another bite. For drinks we ordered Jicama, Tamarindo, and Horchata. Hands down best horchata drink I ever had. It's rare to give 5 stars, but this spot hits all my expectations.

Good drinks, good food, and good customer service. Portions of the plates are definitely shareable and pricing is definitely worth it for the amount of food, flavor and love they put into the food! Parking isn't the best if I'm being honest. But I don't mind parking a little further to enjoy some authentic Guatemalan food! They will definitely be seeing me soon.

Guys, I am upset.... Why did no one ever tell me this place existed!!? First we had the best server ever, thank you Alexander. Second, the food, wow. Let me prefix this with I have been looking for good Mexican or Salvadorian food, I found a treasure of Guatemalan food and more. We ordered a pupusa with queso and chicharrón and a chuchito, amazing. Let me tell you, flavorful and worth it. Just an fyi the main courses are huge, we got jalapeño shrimp plate and churrasco mixto. They even have home made tortillas de maíz, blown away. This is my new favorite place, thank you Alexander for being attentive.

Love this place, it is a family favorite. We came here after having a negative experience at 787 (they did not want to accommodate my mother disability she has dementia). When ordering here I mentioned they were super accommodating and understanding of my mother's condition I did not need to feel like I had to beg for them to understand and be accommodating. Our server was so helpful and amazing to my mother/ family & the food was so so delicious!

Absolutely love love loved my breakfast at Mi Guatemala Restaurant recently. The food was fantastic, the portions were huge, and the prices were fair. There were so many different things on my breakfast dish, and I sampled and LOVED every single one of them. I would 100% return to this restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone who loves delicious food.

Just a pleasure to dine with such a nice attentive staff. No rushing, just like Central America. Recommended by friends in Central Falls. Delicious from start to finish. Domestic Guatemalan Cerveza served with a cold salt rimmed mug. Fresh warm chips and salsas. Ceviche is maybe the best I've ever had. Papusas too! And fried ice cream to top it off!! We can't wait to go back and bring our friends there. Thank you Mi Guatemala!

Wow. If you're looking for a spot that has amazing food, beautiful art and design aspects, friendly…read moreservice, and plates to share, Aguardente is the place for you. A friend and I came in and put our names on the waitlist, waited for about 45 minutes at a bar down the street, and then had some of the most fulfilling tapas ever! We got a Prosciutto & Salpicao board, the Queijo de Cabra, and Frijol Dip. I also got a nice portuguese red wine that paired well with some of the cheese we received. We sat in a very sweet and cozy nook and enjoyed every minute! I will be back when it's warm out and the front patio is open!

We absolutely love it here! As someone who is of Portuguese descent and a huge Mexican food lover,…read morethis place hits the perfect fusion of both worlds. You can really taste the family influence and authenticity behind every dish -- it feels like home, but with a fun twist. The Prego no Pão is one of my favorites -- perfectly seasoned steak on soft bread with that classic Portuguese comfort, but elevated in a way that keeps me coming back. We also can't get enough of the seafood dishes -- especially the paella and grilled octopus -- and the chouriço always brings that familiar Portuguese flavor I grew up with. The small plates are perfect for sharing, and trying different things each time has been so much fun. Plus, the touches of Mexican flavor throughout the menu just make my heart happy. The cocktails are always a hit -- fresh, flavorful, and so well-balanced. On top of all that, the décor is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the touches of their family history all over make it so charming. Everything from the food to the drinks to the overall vibe is just excellent. Great addition to the city and one of our favorite spots I will add I have also gone with a baby, and while it's not stroller friendly they staff were very kind and patient with a baby learning to eat and making a little bit of a mess
