    Fish seafood stew
    Pauline C.

Local Peruvian place, very large inside with classic Hispanic music playing and friendly wait staff. We couldn't decide what to get for appetizer so went with the sample at little over $40, everything were all flavorful, my favorites were the crispy calamari and ceviches. Seafood and fish stew was okay, nothing to write home about as the fish was a bit thin and over done, but the yucca fries were so fresh and crunchy, I could have had a whole plate of that! Mixed grilled Opal was well mixed, the intestine was yummy while the heart tasted over cooked and tough. They sat on top of generous amount of potatoes as well, they were soft and filling. Overall was a pleasant experience, given the place was very casual and accessible in pricing. Would come back again and will know how to better order!

Don't come on special days, the wait for food is ridiculous! Kitchen is slammed and they still seating people.

Where to start?! As we all know finding a restaurant with under 30 minute wait on a Saturday with no reservation is unheard of but not only did we get a table but we were sat as soon as we walked in. I went with my family and ordered the ceviche as an appetizer the "salchipapa" ( hotdog pieces and fries) and it came out super quick and can I say the ceviche was amazing! We even ate the lettuce that came on the said with the ceviche sauce. The salchipapa for my son was delicious so much so my fiance started helping him out. For dinner I went with the bistec a lo pobre and my fiancés had tallarines in spicy huancaina sauce along with pineapple juice. Let me tell you we were no disappointed I don't know if it was or not but the juice tasted as if they just freshly juiced it and our meals were amazing. The portion sizes were not skimpy, you get your moneys worth. We made sure to leave room for dessert, we had to go with the tres leches and once again it was delicious. All in all great experience, family friendly ( I travel with a 3 year old toddler and infant) we will be back.

We stopped by Machupicchu with my family a couple of months ago for their Peruvian breakfast. The place is simple, nothing fancy but their team is really welcoming. We ordered some coffee to start with, they have American coffee going around with free refills. Then, we ordered the Peruvians Lurin Breakfast which included, a pork tamale, pieces of pork or chicharrón, fried sweet potatoes, huachana sausage with egg, famous Peruvian salsa de cebolla, and ciabatta bread. So normally, in Peru, you will eat this with French bread but that specific Peruvian style French bread is not easy to find in the USA unless it is made from scratch. You usually will open the bread, fill it with sweet potatoes, then pork on top and onions to the end, then top it up with any spicy sauce if you like something spicy and that's the chicharrón sandwich. The tamale and sausage are extras to complete the plate. Well, breakfast my amazing! Delicious! The platter is good for 2 people to share or even 3 if they don't eat a lot. Also, my uncle ordered a Morcilla sandwich or Sangrecita which is very common in Peru for breakfast and it also comes in the same bread. It was a really good experience, I'll definitely come back.

This food was BEYOND amazing!! the absolute BEST calamari i've ever had served with the most delicious sauce that's absolutely amazing!! the lomo saltado was also amazing, some of the best i've ever had. The restaurant was also so well decorated and felt like you were being transported to peru! I will definitely be returning!! 10/10 would definitely recommend!!

Big gash in the seat. Seriously??? We were off for a good start...

One of the best thing about this place: They have a private parking lot. Food was good. Service was great. Interior and overall look was aweful. HUGE gash in the seat where I was sitting. Coil springs sticking up my *ss.... We should have left or at the very least we should have asked for another table. But no. We received the worst table in the whole restaurant, right next to the kichen doors... Really noisy. Food was good, reasonably priced. Server was very friendly, smiling, attentive. Will I wake up at night craving about this place. Hmmm. No.

The food is always great. The service was is quick. The food came out quickly. I am always satisfied. I recommend it. I would come back with new parties. I just wish they would have better parking. It would be more convenient for a big party. The staff is great and friendly.

I'm actually appalled at the fact that I spent $50 on WHITE RICE. in no time in my life have I ever been served such a plate for 25$ that lacked food. It's honestly disrespectful. I tried to call after picking up my food and the line went from ringing and waiting for a response, to disconnected for the night. I found that highly rude and I WILL be at the establishment tomorrow. (This is also after repeating my order to the staff 6 times on the phone to specifically asked for fried chicken and a side of plantains. The meal also came with no fries) here is the difference from what I ordered and what I got.

What such an authentic place where their food tastes so delicious and the way to make their food is definitely so fresh and tasty. Totally recommend this place to come and check out! So many different drinks and the main thing that I definitely enjoyed was their "Chicharron De Pollo" which totally had so much crunch into a bite. The staff was so friendly and kind. They made me feel like home. I totally give this place a 5 Stars!.

    Ocopa, delicious appetizer
    Jan R.

Love this place! It reminds me of Los Andes when they first opened and ypu could get a seat. The food is delicious and very typical of the area. I had a pisco sour to drink and it was perfect. We had the ocopa as an appetizer. It was so different and so delicious. For the meal I had to get steak as that is the specialty of the region. It was marinated and served with an egg and rice and plantains on the dish. So tasty! We tried the calamari but it is not their specialty and we made a wrong choice. For dessert we had their flan and a delightful jellyroll type cake. Both were amazing. The service can get slow when it gets busy but everyone is pleasant and helpful. Definitely worth a try.

Ultimately I went for the chicken classico and chicken and mushroom. Both of these were flavorful with a golden brown flakey crust that was still nice and soft on inside. The chicken was tender and flavorful adding a slight kick of heat without being overpowering. The chicken and mushroom had an added layer of sauce that helped tie the flavors together and the mushrooms were perfectly tender. Adding to it was a chimichuri sauce that tasted fresh and came in spicy or regular. Ultimately what I liked about these empanadas was that they felt fresh and not frozen like many other places. Despite being only one person, the server was quick with taking orders, working the register, and serving the empanadas. While there isn't much seating inside, I came here with a large group and was able to finding seating. I can see it getting crowded as there were always people coming in. I went here today with a large group and we were easily able to find a table and sit comfortably. There were a ton of empanada choices- it was hard to pick which one to get! I ended up getting the mushroom chicken one, and the eggplant one. The woman working asked if I wanted them heated up, and if I wanted cheese on top of the eggplant one which I thought was a really nice touch! She seemed to be the only one working but was able to give each customer a good experience. She even brought our food out to the table which was really nice. Chicken mushroom- the crust on this empanada was not as flaky as I would have liked, but it was still good. I liked the sauces with it but I'm not sure I would get this one again. The flavor was good, but when I get an empanada I like to have that flaky shell. Eggplant- this empanada was delicious! The shell was flaky and the filling was outstanding. I would totally get this again. Overall I liked this spot! I'll definitely be back to try the MANY other flavors

My fourth Dine Out Boston 2026 Winter visit: Alma Gaucha, the Brazilian rodizio, with colleagues…read more The meat was delicious, the salad station was plentiful, and we ate until we were stuffed... Meat Serving: My favorites were all kinds of beef! The Premium of Top Sirloin and Top Sirloin with Garlic were extremely juicy and tender, as you can see. I recommended medium rare, and don't cook it more than medium. Tri-Tip Steak and Tri-Tip Steak with Cheese were relatively coarse, but had a layer of fat that made them more flavorful. I recommended medium; medium-well would be too dry. Lamb Steak was juicy and flavorful, with no gamey taste, so eat with confidence. Chicken Wrapped with Bacon and Chicken Legs were garlic-flavored, but the meat was a bit tough. Cheese with Honey was a calorie bomb but really delicious; the cheese had a slightly gamey taste, and the more honey, the better. Most importantly, the grilled meats here are just the right amount of salty; only the Chicken Heart and Pork Sausage were very salty. There were various sauces to choose from, but I personally recommend the oily and slightly sour Chimichurri, or simply salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Salad Station: Foods were plentiful and all very fresh and of good quality. My favorite was the Apple Salad, which was like the old-fashioned "fruit and salad dressing" version from my childhood--it was nostalgic and had a wonderfully refreshing sweet and sour taste. The Smoked Trout was tender and had a wonderfully flavorful fat, but considering it from freshwater , I only had a small taste. The Clam Chowder had a rich creaminess that perfectly complemented the umami of the clams. The Bruschetta, with its creamy sweetness from roasted garlic paired with the crispy bread, was a delightful little treat. Side Dishes: My personal favorite was the Mashed Potatoes, fried potato balls with a crispy, airy exterior and a creamy filling. The Yucca Croquette was like a tapioca version of Pão de Queijo, with the same crispy crust and mochi-like texture, but a milder cheese flavor. The Caramelized Bananas were too soft and mushy; cooked bananas always have a rotten taste. The Crispy Polenta was very hard, mainly cornstarch, and had little flavor. Desserts: The waiter's recommendation, the Red Velvet Cake, was definitely on point. It was less sweet and had a gentler sweetness, more suitable for Chinese tastes. If you like it sweeter, get more of the part with white chocolate sauce. The Mango Cake had a very smooth mousse and a rich mango flavor. The Keylime Pie was too sweet and sour, too strong a flavor.

It has been consistent for the most part in terms of their food selection, but this time they did not offer Fraldinha or Alcatra anymore on their Dine Out Boston menu. Their cold/hot food bar is better than Fogo's selection by far. It seemed there were more limited meats that came by especially since we were seated close to the entrance of the restaurant despite my card being green the whole time. I would expect everything on the limited menu to show up at least once and the wait time for specific cuts of meat took way too long even with requesting a cut from the staff. Somehow the cheese with honey never shows up either. I went during weekday lunch and the restaurant was semi-busy in the front half of the place up until the end of my visit in which there were only a few tables left and I still didn't get any additional Picanha. They came around with the cheaper alternatives more often. The meats I was served were seasoned well, but the variation in temperature for cuts I got were somewhat off putting despite requesting medium rare each time. There were some perfect temps to start off, but half the time they cut me thin slices of well done meat. That was my table's experience this time around unfortunately. I'd come back again since I've had many better experiences here over the years and I hope this was a fluke and not the fact that it has gone downhill.

Yes, he actually hung up. When a restaurant chooses to partner with DoorDash, they take on some responsibility for how delivery problems get handled, particularly on large orders. The right response is not to interrogate and blame the customer while a ready order sits on the counter.
