High-Key fire... I went here after a long day and it just hit the spot. Food was absolutely delicious with relative large portions. Service was quite nice, those workers were the first people that were nice to me that day! And the vibes in the restaurant were helping my mind paint a picture of me with a cowboy hat riding a strong muscular steed through the desert past tons of cactuses and tumbleweeds. We didn't have high hopes, as the restaurant is in a strip mall in a pretty rural area, but we live nearby and thought we'd try delivery. It was DELICIOUS! The portions are big, and we thought we'd stop at the halfway mark and save the rest, but we couldn't stop eating! Delivery was quick, and they got our order perfectly right. The only thing I would caution people about is to read the ingredients (which the restaurant lists) carefully. I assumed a shrimp quesadilla would have cheese, but it didn't, and they didn't list cheese as a filling, so that was on me. It was still good! The guacamole was yummy too. It's a charming little restaurant with vibrant decor, featuring colorful murals and traditional Mexican art. A small group of coworkers gathered after our shift and it was Les than five minutes off 95 at Carmel Church exit. The exterior had some parking spaces on gravel pavement. The interior has some colorful decors and restaurant is clean. Each of us order our own meal preferences. I ordered three items: 1) Chile relleno 2) Chicken tamale 3) Chipotle mango chicken tacos. All items ordered were very delicious and very flavorful. The chili relleno I wasn't able to just take one bite. The chipotle mango chicken tacos were served with refried beans and fluffy rice. The chicken was very tender and packed with umami. Unfortunately they ran out of tres leches but have other dessert items. We were so tired after driving all day so we checked in to hotel and I got on Yelp to look for food. Mi jalisco was the highest rated and the hotel manager also suggested it. So convenient we could walk there so we could partake in some margaritas. I had the tropical strawberry and mango my husband had the blue. They were both frozen and delicious. My husband and I were looking for a place to eat near our hotel after a fun day at King's Dominion and Mi Jalisco came up as one of the few good options in the area. The location was easy to find and parking was available on the side of the shopping complex. The staff was friendly and gave us time to take in the very large menu. The food was very good and the portions were large. I was surprised how big the margaritas were, but definitely not complaining. This is definitely a location local families visit and I can see why. Omg this place y'all! They drove us home because there was no taxi available for 1.5 hrs to drive us back to the travel lodge near Kong's dominions. We first got lucky with a lyft to pick us up and enjoyed the delicious Mexican food here. The service is so fast omg. If we have drove, we probably would of been in and out within 30 mins. What we thought was not a chain we found out is. This is Americanized Mexican food at decent prices for our lunch on our way home on vacation. Nothing screaming you must try this place, but other Yelpers seemed to have mostly really liked this restaurant based on your reviews. We started with some nachos grande minus the sour cream. This was probably the best of our lunch choices. We had chunks of cooked chicken breast, refried beans, and hamburger beef with some cheese, lettuce, tomato, and guacamole all mixed in some tasty nacho chips. I had lunch Texas fajitas which was chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas with onions and tomatoes. Came with a late two tortillas. The sides of guacamole, lettuce, refried beans, and Mexican rice were just fine. What else was just fine was the fried chimichangas and burrito. The one was too dry and the burrito was bland. Everything was eaten, but nothing really to jump for joy for. My on the rocks Margarita was mostly tequila and a splash of mix. For some, this might be a good thing, but not for me. I think we'll keep driving on next time. $65 including tax and tip for four for lunch. Very reasonable. Service was nice. One other issue - the women's room toilet was clogged and the wife could not "fix" it even though she did not cause the problem. She tried to but failed. Well we had to try it again and I am so glad we did. We stopped in around 2:30 just before lunch was over, the place was empty but it was 2:30. The chips and salsa are the best I've had they have a tomato base and also a milky salsa that is different and wonderful with a little kick. I ordered the basic Margarita $5.25 it was ok needs more lime and more booze but was good. The last time I was here I had the fish tacos they were awesome this time I got the chimichanga chicken fried it was very good wife got a polo del filis ? DO NOT GO HERE! Everything was terrible starting from the service, to the place & the food! Not to mention management!! When we first walked in the place it was extremely hot like they can't afford A/C and had a terrible odor (like mold). The place itself looks disgusting, unclean and disorganized. Once our server came by and asked us what we wanted to drink, I asked him a question regarding an item on the menu and his response was "You can look at the menu".....and that was just the beginning!! My husband and I wanted to started off with the nachos, and soon as the nachos were brought out by the manager, we immediately knew that the food quality was terrible...it was worse than Taco Bell at its best! And this was the PERFECT place to make that dinner stop where we left way happier then when we arrived. We had no idea this place would be so pleasing to our taste buds...but Yelp did! You incredible yelpers our there were already raving about the good eats of this eatery, and thank goodness I listened so we could partake in the yummy Mexican fare as well! 4.5 We came here after a long day hiking. They give you free chips and salsa which is amazing! The salsa was very tasty. We ordered so much food for such an incredibly cheap price! They had vegan/vegetarian options so I got a potato enchilada without cheese and a veggie taco. The enchilada was much better than the taco because of the flavors. The table got an assortment of tacos, burritos, peppers, and rice and beans. The beans were also very tasty. Only downside was their margarita. This is a good place for dine-in Mexican dinner but also a great stop for some hot tortillas and fresh guacamole on the go. It's family friendly and I believe it's family run. Very cute decor and good menu with veganize-able options. My favorite is the veggie fajita - hold the cheese and sour cream. Convenient to Route 1 and just off 95, Mi Jalisco is really the only option for the area surrounding this cluster of motels, hotels and truck stops, if you want something a step up from fast food &/or American buffet food but don't wanna travel too far from the Oasis (as the truck plaza is off 207 are known). They can easily seat and accommodate large parties so it is also our go-to when we are having friends from out of town visit us and going to be a party of 10 or more. read more

This is my FAVORITE Mexican place around here! Definitely recommend to everyone we go here atleast once a month sometimes even twice. It's not to expensive either and you always get really good potions of food. Especially if you like the cheese sauce with the chips it comes in a big boat shaped dish and not just a small dish and it's delicious!! The chicken fajitas are sooo good! This is from two different times we went once was take out and the other was sit down. We love this place so much!! If you've ever thought about going or not, definitely go!!! So so so good!
