We ordered the Enchiladas Yucatan and Enchiladas Mexicanas.. both were absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and the quality was spot on. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Service was quick, and the staff was super polite. What really stood out was that even the manager came by to check on us and make sure everything was good. Buyer Beware....My family and I ate at this restaurant in Doswell VA after spending the day at Kings Dominion and to our surprise they added an extra $10 to each check after a 20% gratuity had already been added to the checks. This was not an authorized charged. Therefore this was a fraudulent charge.....I am a big tipper when service is good but I'm not tipping twice for poor service....We sat at the table for about 20 minutes before we were even acknowledged. This was a pretty solid Mexican restaurant! From the outside it doesn't look like much, but it was great! The interior has some fun decorations and music and lots of space. The staff were really friendly and our waiter anticipated our needs. None of us were drinking but the margaritas and other cocktails looked amazing! The chips and salsa were good. We got dinner combos, which were definitely enough food and it was nice to pick exactly what you wanted. The beans and rice were great. Pretty good spot and we would come again! Attached to a small motel which was a concern but once inside it was spacious, open and clean. It is right next to the Kings Dominion amusement park so if you're looking for something after leaving this should be your spot. We tried the taco salad, chicken enchiladas and chicken tacos. The portion size is crazily huge - we're talking HUGE. And, the food is incredibly fresh and well priced. Two dishes can definitely feed 3-4 people. The service is amazing as well. And we're not talking some watered-down, sad excuse for a drink. This was delicious - and strong - made even better with fresh citrus slices and a tamarind mixing straw. Perfection. I went with the a la carte tacos, which automatically came on corn tortillas, which is perfect for someone like me who avoids gluten. And the food? So good. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you want from an authentic Mexican spot. If you're in the area (or hitting up King's Dominion), definitely make a stop.
