Huevos a la Mexicana

Absolutely love Mi Lindo Jalisco! They have great food, fast service and solid portion sizes. You won't leave here hungry! I really think this is one of the best texmex spots in town. They have delicious green salsa as well!

I was craving some meat with some rice and beans and this place fit the bill as they had a bistec mexicana on their menu. I got the order delivered through the delivery apps. The portion was generous and the beef was well seasoned with a little bit of cumin. The meat was sliced fairly thin and tasted a little bit aged so the meaty taste had a little more depth. The beef portion was very generous for $13 normally other places will serve this on a large bed of lettuce and you don't get very much meat but this place didn't. It was enough food for two meals but I was hungry and ate all the meats. I also got their agua fresca which was decent but not really heavy on the fruit so would probably just skip the drink next time.

In an old fast food bldg where Manns BBQ used to be sits a pretty good Sports bar with decidedly good, although not spicy, Tex-Mex food. They serve margaritas and have a pretty good crowd on a Sunday night. Very basic cuisine, looks like they use simple ingredients and LOTS of food for the dollar. Huge portions. Fast, friendly table service. Will be back!!!

I was very impressed by the quality and taste of the steak on the dish I ordered - bistec a la Mexicana. Very nice and family friendly atmosphere. Overall very satisfied with my meal and visit.

Food was amazing, portions are HUGE and you cannot beat their prices. Our server was very kind and attentive and he was the only one there for the entire restaurant. Location is kinda iffy but just one of those hole in the walls. Food was soo good.

Hidden gem. Indistinguishable from any other little Mexican joint you see around Austin. But believe me you will regret passing it up! Very generous portions of delicious, authentic MEXICAN food! My wife got the 4 "mini" tacos which were overstuffed with cooked to order asada, grilled onions & cilantro. I got a pastor taco which was as good as I have ever had! We'll be back for sure.

Arriba Abajo as you walked in just gave me all the vibes of a happening place when you want to hang out with friends and have a great time. We ordered the braised ribs rolled tacos for appetizers. It was so fresh and kicking' with all kinds of flavors. I wish I had ordered another one. The avocado sauce layered on the bottom was just enough to keep wanting more. For lunch I ordered the Carneasada Fajitas with chimichurri and my husband ordered the Carneasada Taqueria. With my fajitas came a side of frijoles, green rice & flour tortillas. Corn flour was the other option. Both meals came in pipin' hot & the smell coming from both was very aromatic, zesty & spice. Amazing taste, flavors, just the right amount of marinade on the Carneasada with a hint of lime. It was so delicious while enjoying the ambiance. Our server was a delight and took very good care of us. We didn't order any of their alcoholic beverages since we were both working, but definitely we will be back to enjoy more food and try out their beverages.

So we were thinking of tacos or Mexican food and my daughter suggested this spot as she had come here with some friends and really enjoyed their sopecitos. I had never had a sopecito! What is that! So we had to try... We were lucky to arrive at the right time (9 pm!) where we got their last table!! Make reservations or something because this is another one of those places that fills up! So- we were taken care of immediately: chips and some very hot salsas were set on the table while we chose. They menu is in QR code format, but we asked and got paper menus as well. Well I got the chicken sopecitos , my daughter got the pork ones and my partner got the meat tacos. Everything was delicious, the food arrived promptly, the portion size was perfect and bountiful and everything was super enjoyable. I really enjoyed trying some New Mexican favorites. Next time I will try some other delicacies since I always get tacos tacos burritos or quesadillas: time for some new items on the menu! Enjoy!

Music was so loud in the back room areas that you could not even have a conversation with others at your table. When I asked to have the music turned down, I was ignored. Dishes were on the pricer side. We won't be back.

Varied menu. Daily special/additions. Everything you might want in an interior Mexican restaurant. Frozen margaritas are world class ... best anywhere! The Miguel platter is a wonderful way to start off. Guacamole is best in town. Tasty lamb chops. Must have black beans! I had the pork chop which is a treat! My wife had crab enchiladas, a special, and said they were delicious (with suiza sauce). Beef dishes were a hit too. Tres leeches and flan were well received and the vanilla ice cream and latte were a great end to a wonderful dining experience.

Too much sauce, and it completely drowned out the taste of the crab. My dad got the ancho relleno San Miguel, and I was so jealous. His dish was absolutely divine, incredibly good. I wish I'd ordered that instead. We tried both the watermelon margarita and the house frozen margarita. The watermelon was delicious, but it came in a small glass with a huge ice cube, so for the price you really don't get much drink. I'd order it again if it came in a bigger glass. The house frozen margarita, though, was delicious and strong, and much better value. For dessert, we had the crepas de cajeta. It was tasty, but it came topped with a generous amount of Nutella, which surprised me since the menu mentions caramel, not Nutella. I'd have preferred the caramel, and I'm guessing they may have run out, which would explain the swap. I just wish they'd mentioned it before serving it, since it changed the dish for me. Overall, a great experience and we will definitely be back.
