    Colombian Roll

I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH - YOU MUST GO HERE!! I stopped by since I drive Mi Pais often, and I'm so freaking glad I did. Here is what I had: 1. The coffee was being made in a beautiful tall copper looking structure. Best coffee in the area, no contest. 10/10. 2. The Colombian rolls that are on the counter were out of this world. They're filled with like a cream cheese / jelly, and bacon I think? If was like a sweet and savory bread/donut stuffed with even more goodness. 11/10. 3. Beef Empanada - so juicy and tasty. 9/10. 4. Chicken Empanada - juicy, savory, delightful. Very good with the cilantro sauce. 10/10. I'll probably go back tomorrow for more to be honest.

Bandeja Paisa. The Columbian bacon is divine! More like a smoked pork belly : )

A local gem - Lovely restaurant that's easy to miss from the street for great Columbian/Latin food. We moved from the tri-state NY area a few years ago and miss the authenticity of many latin restaurants. This was def a great find. Staff was friendly, loved the BYOB, we enjoyed the Bandeja Paisa, Bistec Encebollado and Argentinian empanadas (they were so good we took half a dozen home with us). We'll be back! Must try it!

Outstanding, authentic food and friendly staff. I started off with a couple empanadas and moved on to the Cazuelita Mi País. It didn't look huge and I was a little worried I'd still be hungry but by the time I was done I was so full I wasn't even thinking about dessert. Will 100% be back. This place isn't too far from my office, I can easily see having "empanada day" the next time my team gets together.

Massive portions I visited Mi Pais because a Colombian friend highly recommended it and concluded it is fantastic! 100% worth it. I ordered the Cazuelita Mi Pais. I was tired and desired something simple for my palette - so rice, beans, meat, and sweet plantain it was. The service was excellent and rapid despite that being a large group. As soon as the orders arrived, I was shocked by the portion sizes. 2-3 people can eat one plate, so be cautious when ordering several plates. You will take food home for sure. Mi Cazuelita (my order) was the only "normal" size dish, and I loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant for a casual Colombian dinner, especially if you are starving.

So so tasty! A hidden gem. Best empanada I've ever had - crispy corn crust and flavorful filling. Super nuanced flavors - smoky and savory, not too salty. Delicious. Staff was super nice and helped explain things and make recommendations.

Everything was spectacular! The service was spot on and attentive, the food was delicious and servings huge, and the coffee and juice were divine. Will ABSOLUTELY be back!

This thing was loaded with bits and pieces of real, quality mushrooms! For the main course I had been DYING to try the 'Soul of Cuba' since I first saw pictures of it. The moment I started eating it I knew...this was gonna be special. The pork tasted like it had been marinated and slow cooked to be flavor packed and oh so tender. Just the right amount of ham, ooooey gooey Swiss cheese, pickles and yellow mustard rounded out this hefty (had to take the rest to go) sandwich on a beautifully toasted Cuban roll. This thing easily became my all-time favorite Cuban sandwich, and it wasn't even close. Side note, I'm not sure what the pasta salad that was included is called but after I took one bite, it was gone before I even finished the first half of my sandwich! The setting is very warm and welcoming and the service is top notch!

Very simple to get to and quite a decent amount of parking. I went on a Saturday Afternoon and it wasn't too busy at all, but it should be with how amazing the food is! Vibes were pretty dope. The food is a delicious mix of Peruvian and Venezuelan flavors, and you can really taste the freshness and quality in every bite. Their arepas are crispy on the outside, soft inside, and packed with flavorful fillings. Everything felt comforting yet unique at the same time. One thing I really appreciated is that the entire menu is 100% gluten free, but honestly, you wouldn' even notice because the food is just that good. Also, don't be deceived if the food doesn't look super "picture perfect" online or in photos (or at least my photos lol). It may not be the most photogenic food, but it's sooo worth it! I actually ordered almost everything on the menu because I had no idea when I'd be back in Lancaster again . My favorite was the fried rice with chicken and plantains, so flavorful and satisfying! My husband's favorite was the Lomo Saltado Bowl and Pernil Arepa. We also loved the yuca fries, which were perfectly crispy without being overly greasy. The only thing that disappointed me a little was the Esquites. It just didn't stand out and probably wouldn't order it again. Parking is limited and there's outdoor seating only.

I got the mini bandeja paisa, my wife got some chicken cutlet with plantains and my baby girl got the cheeseburger with fries. They had 2 different sauces; one's some mayo type sauce and the other, their home made jalapeno sauce. That jalapeno sauce was some of the best sauces, period, that I've ever had - it had a nice kick, but not too spicy, a hint of sweetness, but more tangy and flavorful... So good that we bought their big bottle ($15). 2 days later and we are halfway done. :( My baby girl was making a huge mess with her PEZ candy and they were dropping all over, but the lady who took care of us, was extremely patient and understood our frustration. She was graceful towards us! Everywhere I look, and I don't mean to offend anyone but, too many "American" restaurants that serve the same or very similar dishes and there isn't much around that offers distinctive cuisine, but this place is different and I was glad that we ended going there, especially after going to a very disappointing restaurant the night before.
