On the recommendation of a friend, seven of us met here for dinner tonight, and every single person raved about their meal. I ordered the Lomo Saltado, made with top sirloin, red onions, rice, potatoes, soy sauce, oyster sauce, red vinegar, and aji amarillo. The meat was unbelievably tender--you would never guess it was top sirloin. The dish was packed with bold, well-balanced flavors and was an absolute home run. Great Peruvian food! We shared the ceviche de camarón which was delicious! We each got the Lomo Saltado, very big plates! This was delicious but a little saltier than I'm used to. The prices were pretty expensive, confusing because I've never paid this much for Peruvian food but maybe because it's in Oregon and more rare to find? Definitely not a place to come too often with these prices but the experience was really good, service was very kind. Plenty of seating! Its been awhile since we came here. We ate here with some friends and ordered a variety of items to share. Everything we ordered was well prepared and great. Their arroz chaufa de Pollo (like fried rice) was very flavorful and easy to enjoy. Both the Tallarin Saltado De Res and Tallarines Verde Con Milanesa De Pollo were excellent. Ambiance: As previous posts stated, parking is a bit confusing if you haven't been here before. If you are driving North on the 99W, the restaurant is right after Tigard Bowl or across the street from Taco Bell. If you see McDonald's on the corner, you have passed the restaurant. There is ample parking behind the restaurant down a hill. Tip: If you have elderly loved ones in your party, drop them off at the top of the hill, then park the car. This is one of those places I want to go back to so I can try more on the menu. We had the pleasure of dining when they had a live musician. We made a reservation and glad we did because it filled up quickly. We started with the empanadas; they had a nice texture and flavor, but the octopus dish was the star of the show. Tender meat alongside the best potatoes this side of the equator. For dessert, we got passion fruit pisco sours and I'll definitely get another one next time. My husband and I have been wanting to go here since they opened 2+ years ago and finally made it. It did not disappoint. The drinks were great and the food was delicious and authentic. This is a gem add to the Tigard area. I was very excited to try Mi Pisco and the food did not disappoint. The parking situation is not my favorite as there's only one way in and out of the lot straight onto busy 99w and it's a small lot. Besides for that, service is great and food is delicious. Staff is friendly and are fantastic at giving recs based on preferences. Restaurant gets busy during peak hours, so definitely call ahead for a reservation if possible. I like to share food and eat a little of everything and the plates are very much shareable here so you can try a few different dishes. Everything we ate had such good flavor. Portions again are sharing portion so don't expect to be full off one plate! read more

Tigard, I can't even begin to tell you how lucky you are to have this restaurant in your community. If I could give them a 6 star, I would, that's how much we loved this place. This authentic Peruvian restaurant, cuts no corners in terms of their sourcing and technique. Ok, time for receipts, first up is the amazing fresh Ceviche, I had the Ceviche De Rocoto (this is the "spicy" one) very good, not too spicy for me, but I like spice, so... Second one I tried was, Ceviche De Aji Amarillo, this one is also amazing, less spicy but more silky smooth tasting. Service was professional, engaging, helpful and nice. A somewhat odd place to have a Peruvian restaurant but rent is probably much lower for them. Overall I really enjoy the vibe and the cuisine is fairly authentic. What I wish was for the seafood and the lamb shank we ordered to be less gamey or fishy... which other S.America places pull off. Maybe it was an off day on a Sunday morning. Price-wise I felt it was reasonable compared to other Peruvian places in the city... but this isn't value dining by any means. Empanadas were my favorite and were the highlight. read more

I really enjoyed the beef empanadas and the Lumo Salado was very tender and super flavorful. The yucca Frita was not my favorite thing I tried today. Brought my dad to try some Peruvian food for his first time trying the cuisine and it was a great time! They had live music which was a happy surprise and added to the fun. The food was delicious, we had the lomo saltado, the empanadas, the ceviche, and a chicken and rice dish (clearly we were hungry) and there wasn't a thing we didn't like. The ceviche was vibrant and rich and I plan to come back for this specifically in the future! The lomo saltado was of course amazing and stole the show for my dad. If you like your food flavorful, yet here. The flavors are amazing, so complex, so many layers. Our waiter was excellent. He is Peruvian and he knows so much about the food and the culture. And, importantly, he was passionate about sharing that. He wanted to explain how Peruvian cuisine differs from other Latin American cuisines. Obviously, the chef shares his passion. The dining room is nice. The menu is extensive. But parking looks like a problem until you drive a down the south side of the building and find the huge back lot. There is no children's menu and I would suggest that it's probably not the best place for kids. Vegetarian options are limited; vegetarianism just isn't a big part of Latin American culture or cuisine... or most other cuisines either. If you insist on vegetarianism, go to a restaurant whose cuisine emphasizes it rather than expecting others to somehow adapt to it. The food here is great and it's a great experience. Wanted to check out this place after seeing a post on IG and curious about Peruvian food. There was a lot to choose from on their menu and was looking forward to trying one of their cocktails on dry ice. Unfortunately, when we got there, our waiter told us that they were out of the dry ice so we weren't able to order one. A lot of the dishes had egg which I'm allergic to, but I did find something on the menu that did not disappoint. The service was spot on.! read more

We stopped here, hoping it would be a fairly quick sit-down lunch, and it exceeded expectations! We came on a Sunday at 1pm and our food was ready in about 10 minutes. We ordered 2 appetizers and 1 entree for the two of us to share: papa relleno, beef heart skewers, and lomo saltado. All three dishes were amazing. The sauce is so delicious. The papa rellenos came with a side of lime-marinated onion slivers which were also yummy. The appetizers were quite filling since they came with some small sides (for example, the beef skewers came with potatoes). The lomo saltado was cooked to perfection - nice, juicy chunks of steak, and it was served with rice, potatoes and roasted tomatoes. The ambience was nice - Peruvian decor and salsa music. The music was at the right level so you can still hear each other talk but still get a nice vibe in the background. Highly recommend this place!! read more

An absolute gem! so glad this restaurant caught my attention as I was running errands on SW Pacific Highway. It was the perfect place to stop for an early dinner. Inside is colorful and lively - but it's the delightful aroma of the food that immediately tells you, this is gonna be good! Plus the staff is so friendly. Feeling like comfort food on a cold and rainy day, I ordered the Arroz con Pollo. Yes, there were lots of interesting and more unique items on the menu, and chicken and rice is basic, but I assure you, there was nothing basic about this dish. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and so flavorful. The rice peppered with peas was equally delicious. The plating was colorful and artistic. It was the perfect choice. In fact, it was so good, I'm afraid I'm going to get it again when I go back and there are so many other items I want to try! Mi Pisco was absolutely delicious! My friends and I stopped by after checking out the Dambo Troll nearby. None of us had heard of this establishment before, but Peruvian food sounded great. The parking lot was tricky (construction) but once we were inside the restaurant was warm and welcoming. The wait staff were all very friendly and professional. It was hard to choose a dish because the food around us looked so good! One friend and I ordered the Lomo Saltado and our other friend ordered a chicken dish with cilantro rice. Everyone in our party was incredibly satisfied. After our meal we met up with friends and shared the experience and the restaurant location. Casual vibe, very tasty food and pisco sour. Super fresh seafood too! We loved the Papa Rellena which were crispy on the outside and very creamy with their potato on the inside. The sauce that came with them were delicious. The pickled onions also made a great side to cut the fried rellena. The Shrimp Ceviche was decent too with fresh shrimp and lots of corn. Very refreshing. For mains, we split the Arroz con Marisco that came with a whole fried prawn and the Arroz con Pollo. Both were kinda like paella with flavorful rice. The arroz con pollo came with cilantro rice which I thought was very unique. The chicken thigh was very moist and tender but could be warmer...The seafood in the arroz con marisco was very very fresh. Big fan there! All in all, a great meal. I had high hopes for this place. I saw it was 4.8 stars so we tried it. It was not bad, but it was not above average. We have had better Peruvian food. We thought one of the dishes was salty. We also felt it was way overpriced. We sat outside because the music was so loud. Lastly we did not think our waitress was friendly at all.
