I will have to go against the popular opinion here and say the quesabirria tacos ($14 for 3) are just okay. Not amazing and not bad. They are huge tacos with a ton of meat stuffed inside. And the crispy, cheesy taco shells are delicious. The issue I had was that the meat is a bit bland. It's missing something, in my opinion. The consomme is also on the blander side. It's salty, but the flavor is not well rounded like it was made from stock. Overall, the tacos are just a bit meh. My brother also agreed that it was a bit on the bland side. I went on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm and waited about an hour. The truck is located at Front and Dickinson. Just for context, there was maybe 15 people in front of me. The service is slow. They take orders from about 4-5 people at a time, cook those orders (about 15-20 minutes) then take the next 4-5 orders. While the wait is slow, the service is very pleasant!

Loved my visit to Mi Pueblito truck! The ladies at the truck clearly are living out a passion, creating the food that they do. The beef quesabirria with consomé is delicious. The elote is quite flavorful. And the pineapple lemonade drink they make is the perfect, refreshing, beverage to bring the meal full circle. Definitely check out this local business for some authentic birria. They also currently have chicken birria and birria ramen is coming up on their menu. Check them out on Front & Dickinson street! They're open on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays!

This is a hidden gem in South Philadelphia. Only opens Wednesday until Sunday from 5 to 9. I've never had birria tacos before. I saw their post on Instagram and looks amazing. The food truck is located on 7 street near the corner of 7 and Moore. When I got there around 5:15, there were already several people waiting for their orders. It took a while to get your order. They put the menu on the board. I ordered birria tacos comes in 3 tacos. It definitely worth the wait. Tortilla is very fresh. Beef is tender, hot sauce on the side is spicy. Definitely put the lime and dip it in the consome that comes in separate container. The broth is very savory, not too salty, perfect flavor. Although it is red, it's not spicy at all. I can drink it like that. There are some pieces of that beef in the consome. Very authentic. Friendly service also they use paper container for the tacos instead of styrofoam. Very responsive to my questions through Instagram Cash or Venmo.

I first encountered Mi Pueblito Tacos at the Chinatown Night Market and I was happy to find them. My personal quest since moving back to Philly is to find the best tacos Al pastor the city has to offer. I have some favorite spots in Delaware that I really miss but I've already discovered the multitude tasty options here. I also discovered that these tacos I was getting cost way more than I was used to. At one favorite restaurant as much as $3.50 per. The food truck Mi Pueblito is more in line with what I'm used to. A humble outfit, definitely priced right and stuffed. The fillings we had were Al Pastor and Chicken Mole. I wish they were closer but I will go out of my way for these treats.

100/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone! The food is amazing and never disappoints! It comes w three tacos, pepper, hot sauce, and consome for 15$. Very filling and worth the price! I also recommend getting the pineapple Agua fresca ( Instagram: eatwlita for more suggestions )

Wow what a popular food truck. Maybe we went on a off day cause the line was THREE HOURS LONG. We got in the line at 4pm, and didn't order food until about 6:45. And by the time we made it three hours, we couldn't give up cause we were already three hours in. They ended up getting Starbucks hot chocolate for all the people waiting cause it was so cold. I was a nice gesture for all the waiting customers. Their hours are a bit fluid as they are a truck and can make them whenever they want. To get the most up to date hours I would definitely follow them on Instagram. Ok for food, they have the regular birria and also quesobirria tacos. I got an order of both just to try it out. Each order comes with onions, a chili pepper, lots of lime, and hot sauce. The addition of cheese in the quesobirria was magical and seemed to really hold the taco together when dipped in the consommé. The horchata was also really good and they ladle it into the big containers so $5 gets you quite a bit. Be prepared for long lines if you dare to try to get these. Get there early if possible cause the efficiency of the truck isn't that good and also people seem to put in large orders so that also slows the line a lot.

Two orders of the quesobirria with the side of consume and one order of horchata - all of it amazing

I started seeing birria tacos allll over social media lately and had wondered what all the hype was about as I'd never had them before. In the search for Birria, these came up as the best. I also appreciated that they had a queso option cuz I need cheese in my tacos! Haha We heard the lines can take three hours to get through and with a newborn, we don't have that kind of time. But one day, I saw that they were opening at 12 instead of 2 one Sunday. So my husband and I went there around 11. There were already 3 people waiting in line at 11:20 with no truck in sight haha I went for a stroll with the babe and my husband waited in line. The truck came right at 12 and began setting up. We got our order in by 12:15 and the food was ready by 12:40ish. We got two orders of the quesobirria ($12 each) and one order of horchata ($5). I don't typically like corn tortillas (at all...like I'll usually just eat the taco filling and not the shell) but these tacos were amazing! Not a single part went to waste. The beef was so flavorful, the outer tortilla crispy, inner soft, queso amazing, and the consume was perfect. We drank the excess by itself. The tacos also came with a grilled jalapeño and some onions which were a great pairing. The hot sauce it came with was definitely spicy - so use with caution lol The horchata was so good! Give a good stir cuz the cinnamons all at the bottom, but it is definitely not a diluted flavor and I loved it! I would definitely recommend this spot, I just don't know that I could ever wait 3 hours for it. But to be fair, idk that there's any food I could wait that long for.

This place is great! The wait line is usually insanely long but we got here very late and were able to order immediately and with no wait. The food taste amazing! Friendly staff too

If this is the food truck this is what the review is about! The BIRRIA tacos are AMAZING!!! I waited in like for 4 hours, yes, 4 long hours. I'm disappointed in myself but the tacos were soooo gooood!! Amazing flavor juicy and the cosome was delicious and flavorful

OMG best food truck tacos on Girard
    Megan S.

I stumbled upon this food truck after a long night out. The usual food trucks lined up on Girard near Frankford, and I went from truck to truck trying to figure out which option seemed the tastiest. This truck won me over with the variety of fresh salsas that caught my eye, as well as the longest line. Yes, the longest line. My inebriated self logically chose the truck with the most traffic, thinking that if everyone else liked it, it had to be good. SO GLAD I waited in the line. I ordered the Al Pastor tacos for $7 and dressed them up with pineapple pico de gallo. There was also a guacamole salsa that looked intriguing, but I didn't end up putting it on my tacos. TIPS: Skip the street corn. It was good, but the tacos stole the show. Try the pineapple pico de gallo. You won't regret it.

Birria tacos were so good. Lines are very long but it was so worth the wait. The horchata is a must have !

Tostadas and tacos to die for!

The line was long, the sun beat down, and shade was minimal. I would have knocked a star off for the 40+ minute wait from my place in line to when I left, but the food was just too good. I went with the Birria tacos and because I wanted to try something else as I wasn't about to make the effort to search them out elsewhere, I also had the chicken nachos sans sour cream. Got back to work and the opening of the bowls was exciting. Wallah! The three Birria tacos were so delicious each packed with mucho meat and cheese. Four quarters of lime was included. The first bite was incredible. Lots of flavor, and I almost needed a bib for the juices pouring out. The chicken nachos were just as exciting to open and see the colorful beans, jalapeños, cheese, and chicken with the homemade sauce with it. The meal also came with two sauce ramekins and a styrofoam cup of jus. The line as I said was long. They take only so many orders before making them and having the rest of the line wait until those orders were done. If you're not early, you'll have to prepare to stand around for your turn. Just some excellent Mexican food for lunch today. If I saw Burrito Feliz in a food truck festival or just near me, I'm definitely going to buy my meal there. They also have drinks which a lot of people were purchasing and street corn; both of which I did not try but want to. $15 for the Birria tacos and $13 for the chicken nachos today. $28 total. Bit on the expensive side but I wanted to try more than one thing for lunch, and, I certainly didn't eat it all so I have some for dinner or lunch tomorrow!
