DO NOT ORDER TAKE OUT FROM HERE!!!!! I ordered a roasted chicken special with a side of plantains. I was told that it would take 40 minutes (I live less than a mile away) and it took them 1 hour 30 minutes. That's not the worse part... I receive my food and the plantains are burned and the chicken is not cooked all the way. Anddddddddd as if that wasn't the worse part, I call them to politely tell them about the issue and they do not answer the phone, called again they picked up and hung up on me. Honestly, you're better off going elsewhere...

Pupusas. Pork was sour, I believe it was close to expire.

IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A FIGHT, come here!!!! They really feel they're doing you a FAVOR for serving you. I asked for two pupusas different ingredient, the waitress threw a drama about why I shouldn't ask for that. When I finally chose, she forgot my order, came to ask again. Food is really bad here, Chicharron tasted stale, bitter, worsa than that, the SERVICE SUCKS. The entitlement of the waitress is despicable. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!

The Chicken they use is fresh roasted!! Best Chicken burrito in Stamford. Minus 1 star for not serving alcohol.

Great pupusas! Seafood is not as good. I would go back to see how their breakfast options.

Everything is absolutely delicious and served freshly made. This is a casual go to for me on a weekly basis.

Not a bad place but their portions are way too unfair . Got lomosoltado and the amount of rice was crazy and so little of steak.

We found Cosecha's by accident. We were looking for a place to drop in for breakfast. Cosechas…read morepopped up in our search. We were very lucky it popped up. Everything about Cosecha's is great. I'm not a Colombian food expert, so I can't say if it was traditional or not. But we really liked what we had!! We had a few empanadas as appetizers. They were really good. Nice crispy outside, and stuffed full on the inside. We could tell they were freshly handmade. They were clearly not frozen. The coffee is perfect. It had a robust coffee flavor. Not a bitter or burnt flavor, but a full coffee flavor, with a slight hint of cocoa. Staff is very friendly and attentive. They know all the dishes. I wasn't sure what to order. I told the waitress I was really hungry and asked what's popular. She suggested Calentado. It's a dish with eggs, rice & beans, meat, and cheese topped arepa. Meat choices are chicken, steak, ground beef, or chorizo. I tried the chicken. The waitress recommended scrambled eggs with onions and peppers. Our food came out very quickly. The plates of food were enormous. Each plate had enough food for two people. And everything was great! They have a large assortment of pastries and desserts up front. Unfortunately, I was too full to try any. They seem to be very popular in the neighborhood. While we ate, we noticed the staff joke around with people who popped in for coffee, sandwiches, or desserts. There are a lot of regulars. Tables, counters, and floors are clean. Take out refrigerators are stocked well. Popular music plays at proper levels. Loud enough that you can hear it, but not so loud that you can't hear each other. We will definitely be back again for breakfast. We will also come back for lunch, dinner, and desserts. Check it out if you're in the area.

Delicious, satisfying and cheap! Best description for this place!…read moreWe tried their delicious picada which had so many different flavors, there was chorizo, chicken, beef and amazing chicharrones! Would totally recommend it! The service was great and quick, by the time we arrived the soup was gone but they had a great menu special! The ambiance was pretty cool and clean, lots of good latino music too! As many times as I've been here I never thought to write a review. Well that changes today!…read more Decor Clean, dim, fairly small/intimate. It's not so small that you can't move around but during peak hours you may be shoulder to shoulder with another party. BUT if you get there at a decent time you should be good with space. Service Everyone is friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. No complaints here. Food No exaggeration, but I can't remember a time when I had a bad order or something that I wouldn't order again. Here are some of my favorite items: Chaufa - fried rice with your choice of protein. Anything from chicken, pork, fish, and steak. They have it all...and it's all good! Fish Chunks - lightly fried, crispy, seasoned perfectly! Lomos - if you're looking for a hearty meal that will either put you to bed (IMMEDIATELY!) or provide you with a leftover meal for the next day...this is it. I highly recommend upgrading to the Cadillac Lomo which uses filet cuts of steak *chefs kiss* Half or Whole Chicken - if you're looking for something simple. Perfectly seasoned, crispy where it needs to be, and not a dry piece to be found! I'll get that with a side of veggies (which are banging) and I'm straight. Pisco Sour - let me say that the sangrias are good but the Pisco Sour is my 100% go to. I can't even really describe it but trust me...it's good! That's all for my recommendations but honestly I don't think you can make a bad pick even if you don't choose something I detailed above. Also, if you decide to dine in they bring you the warm toasted bread with that Aji Sauce that might as well be liquid gold! Misc. Acuario is consistent with great service and an Aji sauce that will change your life. Until next time...

"Some lunches surprise you. Others quietly raise your standards."…read more We came to Acuario for Restaurant Week, and it felt like one of those rare moments where value and quality meet without compromise. For starters, we had the tostones and the Papa Yuca appetizer. The tostones were crisp and golden with a soft center, paired with salsa criolla and garlic sauce that added brightness and depth. The Papa Yuca was comforting and rich, coated in a creamy sauce that felt balanced rather than heavy. Both dishes tasted intentional, not like scaled back lunch specials. They also brought complimentary bread with aji verde, and that sauce deserves its own recognition. Fresh, herb forward, and slightly spicy, it was incredibly addictive and elevated everything it touched. For the main, we ordered the lomo saltado, and it easily stood out. The beef was tender, the onions and tomatoes were sautéed just right, and the sauce carried bold flavor without overwhelming the plate. The fries held their texture under the sauce, and the rice brought everything together. It may honestly be the best lomo saltado in Stamford. Service was warm and attentive. Even during Restaurant Week, we never felt rushed. Staff checked in thoughtfully and kept the experience smooth from start to finish. The ambiance added to the experience. The space feels welcoming and lively without being chaotic. It has a comfortable neighborhood energy, the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxed lunch but still feel like you are somewhere special. Acuario delivered on food, service, and atmosphere. Five stars without hesitation.
