Churros - long lean blood sugar raising machine. Every culture has a fried dough dish. More like this please??!

I like to find my way off the main track restaurants that fit their neighborhood and are laid back and friendly. But mainly they have good food authentic food. Today was my first visit and it will not be my last. I had a torts with carnitas and the chopped steak and was impressed with the great flavor. The only small draw back is I wasn't thrilled with the commercial delivery service bun. Also had churro for dessert. Because let's all stress eat! Good time had by me.

Food was fantastic, quick and reasonably priced. Steak burrito was so flavorful and packed with all the fixens! They could've been a little more generous with rice!

While looking for a good local restaurant that served mexican food my husband and I chose this place. Driving up it is located in a tiny strip mall behind a gas station. Upon entering the place appeared much larger than I thought. It has a huge kitchen and we were greeted right away. My first impression was how clean the place was. After looking at the menu I had noticed they have just about everything here! Menudo and Pozole can be ordered by the half gallon or gallon. They have elotes, sopes, and much more. And for those who choose not to order mexican they have gyros, hamburgers and hot dogs. I had the Chilaquiles in Salsa Verde with scrambled eggs. It was cooked perfectly. My husband had the Tacos al Pastor and the lengua and cabeza tacos. The meat in the tacos were very tender and juicy. He ended up ordering an extra taco with chicharron. Very good. We will definitely be back. I can't wait to try their chile relleno and tamales.

We were in the area and worked up an appetite so of course we turned to the Yelp app and y'all did…read morenot disappoint! The restaurant was clean, quiet, the bathrooms were clean, the cashier so sweet and patient--I couldn't ask for more! We ordered a asada burrito dinner, a chorizo burrito, and a large horchata to split. We were given a basket of chips and a delicious salsa that had flavor, but wasn't too spicy! The burritos were generously filled and had avocado! That's not something I see everywhere. The beans were a great consistency, the rice was soft and flavorful, and the horchata was top notch! It had a unique flavor, too, and wasn't watery. The cup also wasn't overfilled with ice! While we were patiently waiting for the burritos, we fell victim to the slideshow and decided we just had to try a gordita lol. It was SO good, but the portions were so filling we had to take the rest of the gordita and part of a burrito with. The tomatillo sauce was perfect and the red sauce had quite a kick to it, but not enough that it was painful. The food didn't NEED any extra sauce, but I like to try them, anyways! I wished I lived in this area so I could eat more gorditas, but I will definitely stop here again if I am around! If you're lucky enough to live in the area, please do support this sweet business!

Wow, these tacos were incredible. We stopped in after visiting The Growing Place and found this…read morespot on Yelp, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The steak tacos were spot on. Perfectly cooked steak, cut to the ideal size for the taco, with super fresh onions and cilantro, all wrapped in delicious handmade tortillas. The woman at checkout was so friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. I'm pretty picky when it comes to tacos, so finding a place like this is a big win. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
