While this isn't my absolute favorite tacos around, I do prefer this location over Casa Villa's other Stamford restaurant. The ambiance here is much nicer, with tasteful decor and a great outdoor patio that's perfect for enjoying a meal when the weather is nice. My only real complaint was the salsa. I'm a fan of traditional salsa verde, and their creamy version just wasn't for me. Other than that, the food was good, the vibe was welcoming, and the Tuesday special made it an even better value. I especially enjoyed my Paella And another diner loved the Brussels Sprout Salad with truffle vinaigrette, and the Beet Salad. My other companion thought the grilled octopus was special. We came for paella and went with the classic version..... it definitely hit the spot. The rice was perfectly cooked and crunchy in the right spots. Seafood was cooked beautifully and the spices with the chorizo made it all a balanced and delicious dish. So happy we were able to come back to Paella and we will be back (hopefully) more regularly!
