This is small local cafe on the bergenline.I stopped in to get the a cheese sandwich and coffee and they were A ok..But all the tables were packed with locals having their breakfast platters and it all looked delicious. I am used to the Cuban Cheese Sandwich and this was nowhere close to that. But I am assuming the breakfast platters are their specialties. Give them a try if you are in neighborhood.

Here with my wife enjoying an early dinner

The place is small thats why I gave it four stars. However, the taste of your food is enormous. Best Ecuadorian food I've had so far. The staff is friendly and the crowd is lively. Families come to eat there favorite Ecuadorian dish. The area is loud filled with laughter and orders being placed. You would love this place.

This dish is a typical Ecuadorian dish that is not only colourful and delish it represents the different regions of the country.

Very bad service, the food not so great either, the place it's too small, the only thing that I like from this place it's the crab salad.

Caldo de bola is delicious! My go to for this typical Ecuadorian dish. I'm sure everything on the menu is as good but this is made proper.

This might be a very ordinary place ambience wise but it has one of the best Latin American food. Not expensive and super delicious.

I half want to not write this because I don't want the place to be crowded - so my spouse and I can always get a seat easily - but this place is too great to not continuing sharing. Shout out always to Will - manages this place with the utmost service and care for its customers. Food: 1. Huevos rancheros with chorizos 2. Crispy bird chicken sandwich The eggs and verde [green] sauce was fantastic. The chorizos were not salty or oily - just perfect. My wife loved her Burger. Inside is multiple chicken tender pieces and the flavor was fantastic. We felt fulfilled - with leftovers - satisfied beyond doubt - and not bloated. I rarely give middling or low reviews so it pains me a bit to do so, but this place is kind of dirty and the coffee isn't great. The food is totally decent, but I think our experience as a whole was soured by a little cockroach skittering across the side wall and eventually on my seat. This could have been a rare coincidence, but the place inside just seemed kind of grimy in general. Our table was gross when we sat down and had to be thoroughly wiped before we could start eating. My girlfriend and I also both smelled super oily the entire rest of our ride in the car, which I think has to do with the grills being so close and open right next to our seats. Overall, since the food was decent and service was good, I still give 3 stars and qualify that perhaps the roach was just an unlucky coincidence, but we certainly won't be going back again.

I went with a traditional breakfast (eggs, bacon, french fries) and it came with a side of some toast, coffee & juice. I also ordered a round of the french toast to taste since the pictures on their menu looked super appetizing. The food was incredible, everything tasted great and although the fries could have been a tad bit better, it was easy to forget since everything else was so good and our waitress was so attentive/kind. Something about this place just had that "breakfast from home" feeling and would definitely check this spot out if you're in the area!

The restaurant has an interesting history. Even though the original opened in Cresskill, NJ, it unfortunately has permanently closed. However, not only is the Edgewater location amazing, but it had the guts to open during COVID (2022), survived, and is succeeding. The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside. Their decorations are tasteful, the presentation of the food is award winning, and the service is stellar. I started with a Mocha Cappuccino and it was so good. Served in a large mug, an airy/creamy top, and had the perfect amount of mocha happiness throughout. Before the meal even started, we were graciously given Za'atar (a popular Middle Eastern spice blend with an earthy, tangy, and nutty flavor, toasted sesame seeds, and sumac, with salt). It was crunchy, drizzled with oil, and I enjoyed how each thin pita bite made the spices explode all over the table. The entrees were: Strawberry French Toast. The next was the Falafel Platter (chickpeas and fava bean balls, served with tahini sauce, pickles, turnips, tomato, and mint). The last selection was the Avocado Toast (Citrus cured salmon over multigrain bread, tomatoes, onions, capers & citrus vinaigrette). Not only were all of these dishes beautifully presented, but all were filling, as well. My Avocado Toast kept me full for the rest of the day and the salmon was enjoyably salty, thin, and delicious. I noticed a dessert in their display case and ordered it. The dessert was the Riz Bil Ashta (Lebanese rice cream, infused with orange blossom water, blended with milk and cheese, and topped with crushed pistachios). This dessert tasted like a regal custard and the pistachios added an enjoyable texture that makes it recommended. Of course, I had to cap the meal with a Mocchiato. This amazing beverage followed the rest of the meal..... delicious, eyes closed good, and every sip was full-flavored. Thank you, Madison Café and Grill, for presenting a memorable meal and I wish you continued success.

I have fine memories of walking through the streets of Recoleta and Palermo at night in search of a quality alfajore, or mornings started with a dulce-filled medialuna and a coffee.
