Nothing is better with chips and salsa than bubbles. I highly recommend Plato Ranchero. One of the best dishes I have ever had. The Flautas are also tasty. I would order the salad on the side next time only because we spent quite a bit of time chatting. Salas are delish. Ask for the spicy one. You won't be disappointed. Staff....beyond friendly and accommodating. Both visits we had a wonderful experience. Atmosphere is beautiful. Absolutely a must stop.

The second time was better because I had the time to sit down and enjoy my food. I was greeted upon entry and treated like a queen for my entire duration. My needs were anticipated and my server delivered. This is a great place to dine alone, with friends, on a date, having a gathering, etc. There is plenty of space as well as a couple of private rooms and outdoor patio area. On the day I visited. I ordered the shrimp tacos which were plentiful and authentic tasting with the corn shells. They were cheesy and running over with a side of rice. Just what I like. Would I go again? Absolutely! Would I get the same dish? Yes, plus more.

Pozole had some of the freshest hominy I've tasted, and the broth was tasty although (crucially for my deducted point) not as intense a red chile flavor as I had hoped. The accompaniments were all good, with fresh radishes and some very fresh tortilla chips and some sort of cheese (I think Oaxacan, but I'm not sure?). I wouldn't make a special trip for the pozole in particular, but I'd happily detour to/from the airport to try more of their menu and update my review.

I ordered one red tamale, one green tamale, and two asada tacos. They explained they were out of green tamales, so I substituted a pastor taco for the green tamales, and added a side of crema. When I get my order, there are three tacos and a little round foil wrap, which I assumed was the red tamale. No crema. Okay, I can deal with that and just use sour cream at home. Except when I get home, I find out that the round foil pack was extra tortillas. Now, I have no tamale and no crema. The pastor taco was good. The asada taco was okay. I will go back because I am determined to try their tamales, but I am thoroughly double checking my order and won't try the asada tacos again.
