This place has good sandwiches and a good service. However, today we ordered 3 subs. One of them was a chicken parm on garlic bread. Order was placed, picked up and no issues until we found out that the sandwich has no sauce. We called to find out if the sandwich was supposed to have sauce but the person that was working today said that the sandwich comes without sauce if u order on garlic toast (which it doesn't say anyway in the menu and she didn't mentioned over the phone). She had a stand-offish attitude as if we were supposed to know this. Then, she was like: well what do u want me to do? (With an even more annoyed tone as if we were intruding in her time) so we asked for the name of the manager and her answer was: "well u have to call tomorrow and see if he is here or not". Then refused to give us the name of the manager and her name as well. I should have gotten a receipt so I can see who se was. However this happened around 7pm. Do better. Their chicken finger subs and other sandwiches are wonderful as well. Owned by Mia Farrow, Mia Zadora, and "Mamma" Mia from the play Mamma Mia, this pizza shop is one of the very best in the East burbs. It's easily inside Buffalo's top 20 locations for pizza, subs, wings and the like. The pizza in particular is spectacular. Well-seasoned, saucy, delicious, gooey, perfect. The best way I can describe it is that Mangia is a carpet of a pizza with masses of delicious salty sauce and very thick cheese; sloppy and tasty and good. The service is wonderful too. They heat my slices without me even asking (some places take umbrage with that, whatever umbrage is, idk) and it was really cheap for an enormous slice. Of the sub sandwiches I've tried (4 so far), the Chicken Florentine one is my fave. It's remarkable and utterly delicious. But the chicken finger sub closely rivals it because it's one of the best chicken fingers subs in town. The Mangia Mangia is really good, too, as is the chicken parm. Their subs are competitively priced, stuffed, filling, and some of the absolute best sandwiches in town. This is the busier, larger original location, with plenty of seating, way down in the southtowns. There are other (inferior and much less friendly) pizzerias to choose from down this way. None are even close to being this good. Their new location is up closer to Clarence, much farther North, close to Genesee & Transit. It's tiny and has nowhere to sit. Both places make perfect, and very similar, pizza. The people running these places are really wonderful too, which is a nice change because I get a little tired of the attitude problems that some Pizzerias (especially close to this original location of Mia) can have. As I've said before, in another review, Buffalo has some of the best pizza in the world. Sadly people will tell you otherwise, especially people who don't appreciate what their hometown does well, or people who prefer refined Italian wannabe pizza or thin crust NYC slices, which I admit are amazing, when done right. Or if you're not from around here, the thick gooey doughy saucy cheesy greasy greasy greasy (did I mention greasy) style might throw you off. That's a shame. You don't come to Buffalo for health food. We're sorely lacking in serious contenders along those lines. But when it comes to pizza there are probably 50 great pizzerias and lots of good ones too. But it's slices like these at Mia Mangia that really make Mia Ppreciate Buffalo Pizza the most. It's definitely going on my top 10 WNY slices list, and is the best you'll find anywhere along Transit Road, by a distance. So step right up ladies and gents. It was a lot busier here than a thought it would be. Workers were nice, and made sure everyone was taken care of while we waited on our orders. Food was ok. They do let you order all drums or blades if you order chicken wings. A lot of places don't. I've only ordered from here twice, but I would order again. It's a small place in a plaza with plenty of parking. The place looked very clean, and everyone had gloves and a mask on. Seemed to work well as a team. read more

Good salads, chicken fingers, fries, and pizza, but the wings are the absolute worst. I've ordered wings here twice and both times they weren't good. Because they were so dry the first time, I asked for extra sauce the second time: medium and barbecue. Both sauces smelled awful and were like red, watery, oil with hardly any flavor and tasted horrible. My daughter was disgusted and asked "how come I can see the foil through the sauce?" I will not order anything from this restaurant again except for their blue cheese which is always a hit. Someone has to come up with some real wing sauce. Customer service usually really good in person, but when I called about the last order of wings, the guy argued me down (even when I said they smelled awful) and didn't offer to accommodate me until I reminded him that I was trying to avoid posting a negative review. read more

Royal Rumble 2020 figured I'd splurge get a steak Pizza and some old school potato skins potato skins were very good however very very small talk about small potatoes. The pizza arrived looking phenomenal as you can see by the pictures however they use their own special sauce which is likeA1 mixed with barbecue sauce? Which was okay I guess? However the problem comes with the amount of onions on this Pizza and they're not the shredded strips onions either. They are the thick ones you would use in like a fried potato or whatnot they taste Raw however the delivery was very prompt and the price was very reasonably for what we ordered I guess I could order again?. However just request less onions and maybe forget the Special Sauce definitely give them a second try. read more

It just shows how they only care about the positive reviews.and with children who eat chicken fingers mostly you would think an apology would of been made public. Since we've moved to Lancaster 3 years ago I have been generally disappointed with the pizzerias in the area, the exception being Santora's which carries a hefty price tag. All of those legendary Buffalo pizza places you've heard or read about are all at least a 25 minute drive away. I remember passing Mia Mangia on French Road several times but for some reason never thought to order here. I'm glad that we finally did. Is this one of top pizza places in WNY? Not really, but I found it to be very solid. Good amount of cheese. Sauce slightly sweet but not overpoweringly sweet. Best of all, I could eat the whole slice, crust and all. I get sad when the toppings end with 1 inch of hard, miserable, unchewable crust. But I was happy that I could chow down the crust no problemo. We had cheese & mushroom. The only minor complaint is the amount of mushrooms was a bit underachieving. We also had hot wings and while not overly amazing, they were again very solid. The size was average. Not huge wings, but not tiny. The important thing is that they were cooked correctly. Juicy interior, slightly crispy exterior. This is now going to be my go-to pizza joint for take-out. read more

Great place and friendly staff always. I have had their pizza, wings and subs which never disappoint, but I never realized they did fish fry dinners too! I have ordered handfuls of pizzas from here, and the chicken wings are really good. They have nice deals, like wednesday they have .50 wings and for 30 wings when you do the math its like paying for a double. Their subs are affordable and the deals on tuesday is getting a 3rd free sub when you buy two. It's a nice small pizza shop in a small plaza by catalyst fitness (ironically) thats not commercially successful like Picasso's (thats just a monster business) but have never had any issues in my orders there since I've been a Depew regular in 2 years. Their cajun wings are spicy but not over the top, but as a guy who loves spicy food I wouldn't mind it being spicier! This restaurant is where the old Hoagie Brother's used to be. Boy were we disappointed in the pizza. The dough tastes blatantly frozen and not fresh/homemade. The sauce tastes like Chef Boyardee's canned sauce. There's a reason why this place is empty most nights of the week and other surrounding pizzerias are booming. This family owned pizzeria is by far one of the best places to order in the Cheektowaga/West Seneca area. I have been coming to this place for lunch for quite some time and am never disappointed.
