The sauce is sweeter. And they take the cheese all the way to the edge and slightly char it. Now, I'm not talking like Pequods in Chicago. That is horrible tasting burnt cheese crust. This was delicious. All pizzas are personal and come in 4 slices. The Hawaiian was $10.99 and I could only eat half the pizza. They prepare it to order and service was fast. Pizza came out in under 10 minutes. Clean and inviting on the inside . I've never had Cuban pizza before and I kinda like it more than Chicago deep dish pizza. All pizzas are personal dish sizes; you can make your own or choose a signature style. Service spoke Spanish and easy to communicate in Spanish too. There's some high top chairs to eat indoors but also outdoor tables for more space. The pizza cubana was crispy and definitely satisfied the craving, I like that they use whole bacon pieces not little bacon bits. The lasagna is made with a ton of cheese, which really is so good. The staff is on top of their game, and they have no shortage of business! It's worth a try if you're coming from work/school and just need a quick bite. *I didn't like that the woman hung up the phone on me when I told her I didn't speak Spanish. What I like: The service was very friendly and warm. The oozing hot cheesy goodness dripping out of the folded pizza was a pleasure. The crunchy cheese crust lining the folded pizza, also great. What I didn't like: The pizza bread is very thick and doughy. Not my preference for an enjoyable Pizza. It was way to much bread for me. The cheese basically falls out the sides when folded leaving nothing but remnants of bits of sauce and cheese in the middle of all that really thick folded bread. There was also a powdery flavor in the bread that you can clearly taste once the dough starts to cool down. It's a creative way to present the pizza and for that I'd recommend others to give it a try at least once. read more

Staff was nice and helpful. Cost was appropriate. My issue was with the location. It was a gazillion degrees inside. I went on a Friday at 7pm, and it was cooler outside than it was inside. I feel bad for people working there, having to endure that heat all day. Guess it goes with the Cuban theme? sucks! My grandma and I had to pull out heavy chairs to sit outside on sidewalk, because we couldn't bare sitting inside. I guess it works for locals who can just take food to go.
