Came here with the family for a Saturday afternoon late lunch. We were sat immediately at a table of our choosing (we went with a booth). Menus and waters for the table were provided quickly and our waiter took our order as soon as we were ready. Our pizzas came out rather quickly but we had to ask for the milk shake and garlic bread twice. Overall the experience was okay and not mind blowing. the pizzas were not as good as they have been in the past. I consider this place to be appropriately rated at 3 stars. I'll come back again bc my parents enjoy it.

    Dirty cup of water

I have been coming to this North Pole since 2016, and their water glasses have always been dirty. I stopped coming for this same reason a while ago. Today I decided to stop by to eat a pizza and see if they have improved their cleanliness, but nothing. Their water glasses are dirty all the time, and even though the food is delicious, as are their pizzas, I can't let this kind of dirt pass by.

Mold in the bread of pizza

If you want to get sick from eating mold in your food, look no further. We ordered pizzas from this location on Uber eats. As we began to cut the pizza, we found areas of mold within the breading of the base of the pizza. How unsanitary! Why would you have pizza dough that is days old? If there is mold in the food, who knows what else isn't taken care of. Someone can get so sick if they eat this. La comida ordenada tiene mold en el pan de las pizzas. Miren su comida antes de comer.

Their pizza is a must try a great family size with lots of flavor and the cheese is amazing l, they offer great natural juices and soft drinks, there customer service is really nice and friendly very welcoming and location is easy to find and close to the Miami airport for a great quick stop before flying out they offer other great dishes on there menu and delicious desserts that are a must try as well you can tell they love to see their Customers enjoy there food. The location is very clean as well and not to noisy so you can carry a nice conversation and the music is very relaxing environment like I said very nice my experience here it's my 1st time coming to this place and I'm glad that I tried it. Wish I had a great appetite cause I would of loved to try out more from there menu. It's also very family friendly and a great to go as well if needed but the pizza is a must try here I guess that is their signature item that the locals here love to grab n go! I usually have a hard time finishing a natural fruit drink but this mango one was full of flavor and very fresh taste to it im sure there other fruit options are good to but this one seemed to me refreshing cause it was a little hot today and this really cooled me off sorry I posted a half way drink but it was to good to not drink right up the same with the pizza it was very good and smelled good to that the family could not wait for my post :) but I do highly recommend this place it's really nice and prices are reasonable as well for a family of 5 like mines that we enjoy eating great food. So if you happen to be in Miami this is a must try on your list for sure you won't be disappointed I promise. Til next time for sure I say cause it t was worth our quick stop before flying back home for sure

I love the food and service, the only reason I don't give them a 5 start is because the bathroom are not to clean and missing attention.

Thanks for the "Pepperoni Personal Size Pizza" and nasty attitude.

Was meeting with some friends for an early lunch last week and I suggested this restaurant. The inside is not that big and parking is terrible, but I figured the food would make up for it. Very few tables inside but it was clean and has a counter area where the customer can sit or can sit and wait for their to go order. Not sure what has happened during the past two years but the food wasn't that great this time around. We shared the simple egg sandwich with bacon, and ordered a cafe con leche, the croqueta sampler and some islas canarias croquetas. The simple egg sandwich was unflavorful. The croqueta sampler and islas canarias croquetas were my favorite. Sadly, the cafe con leche didn't even taste like cafe con leche. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed although it was just our table and two more tables she was serving. There was a total of maybe 8 customers. We had to keep asking her for more water and napkins.

We came in the evening and immediately, as we walked up, there was music, people laughing, talking, smiling... the energy was incredible. I also loved that there was a bar off to the side while waiting. We ordered a few mojitos and sat outside at the tables and benches, just enjoying the atmosphere. When our name was finally called and we walked inside, I genuinely felt like I was stepping into history. The atmosphere here is unmatched. The music, the aromas, the people. God, I loved it here and I hadn't even tried the food yet. We ordered the braised oxtail (which came with plantains and rice), salmon glazed in guava BBQ sauce, ceviche tropical, assorted empanadas, and a Cuban sandwich. Everything was phenomenal. The sauce paired with the empanadas perfectly. The guava BBQ glaze on the salmon was absolute perfection. It was the perfect combo of sweet, smoky, and flavorful. The ceviche had the perfect acidity and tasted so fresh and refreshing. This is one of the most famous Cuban restaurants in Miami. It completely lives up to the reputation. Highly recommended

There was literally dirt/mud at the bottom and I took my first bite and it felt like biting into sand. Upon spitting the food out onto my plate it was black sludge. Literally my tongue and teeth were black. The waiter came by and grabbed the plate when I was in the bathroom. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get that BLACK SLUDGE out of my mouth. When I was spitting out the dirt/mud wife noticed the bus boys laughing at me and there was not a manger in sight. When I asked for a manager he did not even respond. No apology or anything just a look of confusion. Worst experience in a restaurant in my life and I love to eat and have been to many types of restaurant big and small. Cheap and expensive and this one takes the cake. We were so bummed as I see thousands of great reviews. But if there was a zero I would have given zero stars the way they handled the situation. If you eat there in the future make sure to check for DIRT/MUD.

However,…read morewith slow service and nickel and diming (18 percent automatic tip) and smallish portions I don't think I'll be back. Having had a quick workday lunch and walked around the mall, I had worked up an appetite. I was seated in a corner table for two and my order was taken. The restaurant did not seem that crowded even for a Friday night but it felt like a long wait. Unlike many Cuban places, they don't offer complimentary bread. I ordered their "platanos a tentacion" (bacon wrapped sweet plantains), grilled chicken and moros. The rice was a little hard and the chicken breast on the small side and barely seasoned other than the onions garnishing it. Service didn't feel very attentive for me as a solo diner. Between finishing my dinner and waiting to order either dessert or cafecito, I also sat and waited until a waitress finally came by. At that point, I just got the coffee and my check. I don't believe I was offered a printed receipt, just the card terminal. I asked if the tip was included and pretty much in time when I was putting the usual tip (trying to be generous with 20 percent) I was told that it was a service charge, and that the tip was extra, but had full amounts starting with 18%. So basically I paid 30% tip for a small portion of food and inattentive service. Looking back, I see that this restaurant had a different name and I had enjoyed dinner at their other location six years back. It's disappointing to see how it has fallen off. As it were, a lot of the original creative items on the menu are no longer being offered.

When I first walked in, I was greeted by one of the servers. She spoke to me in Spanish and based on my response to her question, quickly switched to English. She sat me at a two-top. At first glance of the restaurant, it was decent size. They were doing construction around the entrance where the bar was, so it kind of took away from the appeal. While I've never commented on this before, I noticed my water and wine glass were so streaky. They weren't see through like usual but def. could have been cleaned/rinsed more. After being sat, I was given water and some focaccia crackers. While I loved the idea, the crackers were impossible to "dip" and made the oil pointless. For drinks, I went with the passionfruit margarita. They had a few cocktails to choose from, but this has been my go-to as of late. It was pretty good but nothing to write home about. As a starter, I went with the Cuban Caesar and for my main, I chose the pesto pasta and added chicken. The Cuban Caesar was easily one of the best I've had! I loved that it came in a Parmesan bowl and the yuca croutons were different but good! The croutons were a weird contrast because the salad was so cold and then you have these hot pillowy croutons with a weird texture. Regardless, I give the salad a 10/10. The pesto pasta was great; super rich but unfortunately, not much else. The chicken didn't have any seasoning and I almost wish I hadn't paid an additional $6 for it. The service was great and although they weren't that busy, I still believe it would have have still been good. Overall, I had a great time here and I may come back next time I'm in town.
