Stumbled upon this place tonight. The restaurant is extremely clean and the service was excellent despite the language barrier. The menu is in Spanish and the waitress spoke little English so that was fun challenge. The food is decent. They don't have hard shell tacos - I ordered my husband steak tacos and he didn't like them. I got a quesadilla and it came with white rice and beans. The quesadilla was decent. I was a little disappointed that they didn't have queso dip.

Outside might not look like much but this place is a gem for home style Puerto Rican food. Their tamales were rich and delicious. Great place for breakfast

If you want a great local spot to eat at in Northlake, this is it! I have lived in the Northlake area for several years, and this is the most authentic, well flavored food I've had in the area. The owner is passionate about every food item on the menu and provides fantastic service! You can tell he loves what he does, and I love to see it! The servings are large and packed with flavor. The tortillas are homemade and so freaking delicious. I got fajitas (as pictured) and my boyfriend got the baleada. The menus have an English side and Spanish side. You can sit down and order at the table, or call in an order to go. When you are ready to pay, just walk up to the window and you're all set! We will definitely be back to try everything else on the menu!

Went back to Rincón Latino and tried the Mojarra Frita this time. Server was very nice and attentive. This place is so good, I'm updating the rating and adding the fifth star. They even moved further down the strip mall and now have a bigger space!

Leftovers - side rice and beans, bean and cheese papusas

Food is amazing and authentic! Big portions and affordable! Very attentive staff. It's a plus if you speak Spanish. Definitely a hole in the wall and those are the best places. Would definitely recommend. Had so many good leftovers. Going to be a new spot for me, for sure!

I never knew about this place until I drove by it and saw it was a Latino restaurant. It's in the cut so you wouldn't really notice a Latino restaurant unless you're looking really hard. I decided to give it a try since I like going to lempira. The place is really small with 4 tables. The staff is super nice and are fast. I got a horchata but it didn't exactly taste like horchata. Tasted kind of watery with a cinnamon flavor. I got 2 baleadas and sopes. Everything tasted really good and it was hot and fresh. Definitely recommend giving this place a try they would not disappoint you!

Owner, Estraudo & Andary very nice family

The pupusas were amazing! In a less frequented part of town but definitely worth the trip to find this hole in the wall place.

I really enjoyed the food. I felt like home with the arroz con gandules and pernil. I need to visit again to keep trying more dishes.

Best as a takeout as the seating is limited with 8 tables. The food was delicious. The burrito was tasty.

Awesome food at very reasonable price. Did not give all 5 stars as they could ramp up the mask requirements. Ok

We came with our toddler, and they were very accommodating, asking if we preferred a booth or a table since we'd be clipping her high chair onto the table. Mood inside is dimly lit with Miró prints on the walls. A number of groups there that night were celebrating birthdays, so it was definitely a good vibe! We all ordered sangrias, 2 of the Miró (red) sangrias and 2 of the passion fruit (white, sparkling) sangrias. All were so delicious! Amongst the 4 of us, we split the paella de carne, gambas al ajillo, mejillones, and pulpo gallego - this was the perfect amount of food! The warm rolls they provided were so good on their own and even more amazing when dipped in the shrimp and mussel sauces. We ended the night with a flan, which was nice and caramel-y. Service was friendly, and they did speak Spanish, which was a bonus for us. I'll definitely be returning and recommending to others!

And because it specializes in Tapas and shareable dishes, it's also a great spot to meet up with friends. But whoever you visit with, you'll leave with a new appreciation for Spanish cuisine and a strong desire to book your next dinner reservation as soon as possible. On a recent visit with friends, we started by ordering a wonderful selection of small plates to share: the savory Croquetas, the mouthwatering Empanadas, the Fried Calamari, and the Vieras a la Parmesana, a delicious dish of baked scallops. For my entree, I ordered a dish of the Seafood Paella, which was solid, but a bit underwhelming. The meal was paired with a wonderful bottle of Spanish Red, and a relatively decent Old Fashioned. We enjoyed Miro and will definitely plan another visit, but were honestly disappointed with the service. Our waiter wasn't exactly rude, but he was definitely impatient with our group as we tried to decide between the relatively unfamiliar selection of small plates and entrees. It won't stop us from coming back, but we might spend a little more time reviewing the menu online before arriving.

It is definitely a place where you can sit down, grab some drinks, order a bunch of food, and hang out for a while. The food was absolutely incredible. The portions are definitely small for the price, but the flavor in every dish was unreal. This is the kind of food that makes you realize you probably could not recreate it at home. Everything had so much flavor and tasted completely different from the next dish. The Patatas Bravas, Bacon Wrapped Dates, Jamón & Manchego Croquetas, Albondigas, Boquerones, and Paella Mariscos were all amazing. Honestly, some of the best versions of these dishes I have ever had. The flavors were so rich and everything was cooked perfectly. The Paella Mariscos was probably my favorite, but it does take a while to cook, so order it right away if you want it. The service was also great and very fast. We never felt like we were waiting around for anything, which was impressive because the place was pretty busy. It can definitely get crowded, so I could see there being a wait during peak times. The only real downside is the price. You are paying a decent amount, and because the portions are small, you have to order several things to really make a meal out of it. But honestly, the quality and flavor are there. Overall, this is one of the best Spanish style restaurants I have been to. Great food, great drinks, amazing atmosphere, and a place that is perfect for hanging out with friends. Definitely worth trying if you are in Charlotte.
