One last note, the woman who seems to run the place was very friendly and personable, so maybe that's what it's all about in Abilene. I feel bad making this review, she was so nice. The sushi is like every single Chinese buffet or grocery store sushi. It's basic and I wouldn't go there just for it but I do love that they have it and always get a few pieces but it's not going to be the same quality as a sushi restaurant. The general Chinese food options are always hot, fresh, and good. I've been to some Chinese restaurants that are a la carte and the standard there is higher because it's quality over quantity. As far as buffets go this is one of my favorites. I'm giving it 5 stars because they deserve to be higher than a 3 but in reality I'd say a solid 4 stars for a buffet. It hits the typical marks and then some. I think a solid 5 star Chinese buffet place would be hard to find. This is by far the best Chinese buffet in and around Abilene and beats out a lot of places I've tried in bigger cities. Also it's very spacious for large parties. The service has always been friendly and they've kept my drink full. At a buffet there's only so much I expect from the wait staff and that's about it.
