They sent a man out who promised thousands in savings and then quoted outrageous prices after his supposed savings. I was referred to David Clark, the owner of Clark Heating & Cooling. He himself came out and provided a bid for the right sized unit needed for my house. He gave three bids for me. One was for if I wanted to change my old, large ducts for a modern smaller one for better air flow and my AC Unit along with an extra vent. One for the AC and the extra vent. And One just for the AC. I picked the middle option and a few days later it was installed and done. The total cost was $5,000 less than the lowest bid from the competitor. Ever since then (two years ago) they have given me top notch care. I called the number I thought was the office and David answered. I found out he gave me his personal Cell. I felt bad because it was late at night on a Saturday. He was perfectly fine and he stated he would get this problem resolved on Monday. He kept his word. I highly recommend this HVAC Professional Company 100%. I have never been disappointed and my house stays at the right temp daily.

We own a historic home that still had the original ductwork that was completely falling apart and…read moreneeded replacing. Douglas came highly recommended from another neighbor and came out quickly to give us an estimate. He knew right away that our old ductwork wasn't salvageable and walked us through how best to run new to get the best airflow from our unit. We still have the original plaster walls that are prone to cracking - he warned us it might not be the prettiest but he was confident it could be done. We got a couple of estimates from other companies just to be safe, but in the end Douglas made us feel the most comfortable and was the only one that offered us a price with the drywall/plaster work included. He works with a skilled drywall repair tech that did an excellent job of covering the old duct holes and thermostat location. He even matched the texture so once we paint it will barely be noticeable! This was no small job, we're talking about complete removal of the old lines, relocating the return and thermostat, running all new registers and ductwork, AND all the plaster work and Douglas and his crew did it in one day - in fact it only took them about 8 hours. We are absolutely floored by how good everything looks and we can already tell it's working a hundred times better than before. We cannot recommend Fenix Air enough.

I found Luxury and, WOW, what a pleasant difference! They showed up when they said they would and diagnosed the problem I was having. I have a decent understanding of how these system work, so I had a good guess what the problem was. That aside, I also just had P&S look at it the day before and they told me what they thought it was. Luxury's assessment was essentially the same as P&S: low on refrigerant, don't know where the leak is exactly. P&S's quote was MORE THAN DOUBLE what Luxury charged me. Plus P&S exaggerated the problem and tried to pressure me into doing the repair on the spot. Luxury was professional, just did the assessment, and reported to me what he saw. I asked a few questions, he answered directly and I hired him to do the repair on the spot. No pressure. Pricing was VERY fair.

A couple of things to keep in mind, it takes pretty much all day for the install, be patient and understand the pickup of the old unit may not happen till the next day. So be it. Immediately visually noted a burnt wire at a termination on the contactor. Probed contactor switch and confirmed it was non-functioning and needed replacement due to burnt and pitted switch points throughout. Explained probable cause. Replaced the part, cut back and reterminated all wires for tight connections. Confirmed function and amp draws. Reviewed entire unit for any abnormalities. Fixed the immediate problem and did not try to sell new unit. Excellent service. Would recommend.
