There were not many patients in the waiting room and I did not see many patients leave the office. This made me curious. Why was the wait so long? Each time we came here, we waited for at least two hours after we checked in for our appointment. Each time, we were punctual. However, I learned that Dr. Joseph wasn't. He himself apologized for the long wait because he arrived to the office late, not 10 min, or even 30 min, but more like an hour or more. Initially, I gave the doctor the benefit of doubt. Things happen. However, this occurred again during the next several appointments. I felt bad for my mom who has Alzheimer's but I managed to help with her restlessness. The staff in the front office were not very friendly or helpful, and could not provide any information as to the long wait I would have given this review a 5 star for Dr. Joseph's knowledge and expertise in this field but I chose to give this medical business a 2 star for the lack of respect and care for the patients. I stopped bringing my mom here after our 3rd visit.

Going in, I had a pretty good idea what was going on with one of my eyes. Without getting in to all of the big words and symptoms, my issue affects people with stressful jobs. When I checked in at the front desk, the staff member was really nice and professional. The technician who conducted the tests was also friendly and professional. After waiting several minutes for the test results, I met with Dr. Zack. I was expecting the same in and out, quick explanation, and move on to the next patient routine, but I was horribly wrong. Dr. Zack explained, in detail, what was going on with my eyes. It was almost an emotional experience because I had been dealing with the issue for almost 10 years (but becoming more bothersome), and I finally received a diagnosis and treatment option. I have never experienced such care and compassion from a medical professional. Although my issue is ongoing, there is a plan. The good news is that the issue rarely results in blindness.
