I cannot say enough amazing things about Michael and his styling gifts. First off, I love that it's a private salon, one chair, so you know you are the priority. Second, you are offered a beverage when you sit down. Third, Michael takes such amazing care of your hair. Men and women, long and short, oh and a color genius. I have a faux hawk and have gone to several other salons and walked out with nothing near what I asked for ( I mean all you had to do was make the style shorter!) but Michael can actually cut my faux hawk and we try something just a little different each time and he is game. If you've been following my hair stylist reviews, you know I've been bouncing from stylist to stylist by no fault of my own. I just have the worst luck with stylists leaving the area! My last gal moved out of state so I had to start back again from scratch. So frustrating! After putting out a public plea (LOL) for recommended stylists within my trusted network of friends, I decided to try out Michael as he was highly recommended by an Elite Yelper that I trust. I knew she wouldn't steer me wrong. So many pros when it comes to Michael --- he's accommodating with my 9-5 schedule, his salon is located like 2 minutes from home , he values my time and gets my hair washed, cut and styled in record time. Oh and he's funny as HECK! Good conversation is SO important to me. I don't do anything wild with my hair and I love that he knows as soon as I sit in his chair what I want done- basically to freshen up my current look and give it some life ! Update 3/23/2019: I just got my second Split End Treatment from Michael, and I have to tell everyone how awesome it is! I like my hair to be perfectly smooth, which means I use a straightening iron a lot. The split end treatment works some serious magic! For 4+ weeks, my hair looked and felt healthier than it ever has. It was especially smooth for the first 2 weeks, but if you wash your hair less often than me, it will last even longer! She's been so disappointed by everyone nationwide after Michael, that she now takes the family plane whenever possible, and jets down to see Michael. He is really as good as it gets. We land into Orlando Executive airport and get the families hair done first thing, and he takes care of all of us, and helps out with the kids who have been in a plane all day to get there. was out shopping today and on 2 different occasions, I was approached and told how beautiful my hair is. One of the ladies that approached me has been a hairdresser for 18 years. She asked me if my children have red in their hair like mine. Then she asked if it was natural. I had to confess it wasn't. She just kept saying how beautiful it is and how natural the color looks. It's thanks to the great care and education Michael Booth has given me. If you don't know who he is, shame on you, but he owns his own studio in Winter Park at Porte Noir. He is extremely in knowledgeable and a true master of his craft. Any time in his chair is a true treat. Lots of laughing happens as we talk about family and life.
