I am ashamed to say this place was my favorite location. I spend lots and lots of time here, and money shall I add. But the people who work here do not know anything! Don't waste your time asking for any help. I had the worst experience here, long story short I was being followed, idk what the lady's name is, but she is short old and chubby.. I see her all the time and she is just rude. My sister and I suspected we were being followed,, so we started to move aisles back and forth, and she kept going back and forth as well pretending to fix the shelves. It was totally obvious so, I looked and stared at her so she would know I was aware of what she was doing. I have never experienced such treatment! We left the store... I wish I could give them a zero star. I returned my items and the store associate gave me store credit around $45+ or something on their gift card. Couple month later I come back to the store and purchase few items using that gift card, the card didn't show up in the system. And NOOOO I NEVER USED THIS CARD BEFORE....the associate that rang up my transaction had scratched my card for the digit to manually do the transaction and I was told that the system says "No Card Found"...the associate called the manager Sofia, she tried checking the balance and told us that it says No Card Found" & she cant do anything about it unless I have my receipt . The manager asked me if I still have the receipt for the refund. obviously this returned happened couple months ago, I wouldn't keep the receipt thinking that I already got refund in the card so I don't have to keep the receipt anymore. I lost my money. SOOOO DO NOT TRUST THE ASSOCIATES FOR THE REFUNDS. If they refund you something, right away check the balance. But for me at least I AM NEVER GOING TO THIS PLACE AGAIN!!! read more

Normally I love this store, came to do a curbside pickup no one answered the phone. Went inside to the call button for online orders waited another 5 mins no one came. Waited in line for 15 mins to be directed back to button associate finally came to help didn't ask me any questions just played with iPad for five mins had to tell her I'm looking at my pickup please hand it to me so I can leave. 30 + mins for curbside pickup. Also I wasn't the only customer trying to receive an online order this is how much they ignore their curbside pick up. read more

This Michael's for me, was one of the messiest I've walked into. Many of the art pens were either out of stock or dried up. I saw a few things missing from different packages. It'd be nice if they were removed completely if they're missing a piece or two. They were out of many types of vellum I was hoping to find. When asking an employee, I had to trot to keep up with him -- he didn't stop as I was asking my question; with a NO, he continued on his way. I was hoping to find a little inspiration in the store ~ then I remembered I wanted to find Primsa colored pencils. I found them. All different case sizes jumbled together and I didn't know how much they cost. I ended up buying a few things all less than $10.00 I didn't know if it's under said price it charges your card as credit, not debit. Oops. I give one star only for the amazing framing ladies. Cindy and Sandra were incredibly helpful tonight. Cindy's vision is none other. I spent decent money to get a piece framed and she was AMAZING! I thought I knew what I wanted until I met her. However, I was disturbed by the ear piece that was apparent and continually barking in Ms. Cindy's ear. From what I heard through the ear piece, Ronnie? (he/she, I'm not sure of the pronoun) was increasingly demanding as I was trying to plan out my artwork I was seemingly frustrated and Ms. Cindy handled it like a professional. I also can't believe you let customers pee in those terrible restrooms. One, the glitter on the floor seems to be permanent and secondly, if you are incapable of provided DECENT restrooms then don't especially since we are in a pandemic. BE BETTER, Michaels. Save yourself the hassle of coming here and go to the Michael's in Rancho Cucamonga instead. The manager at the Michael's here on Summit has AWFUL customer service. The store manager Tina has a horrible attitude, and her level of unprofessional-ism rubs off on everyone she hires. When making purchases, the associates get very irritated when you want to use coupons (which you get from Michael's!!!) and when you ask questions about where something is, they treat you like you are inconveniencing them. The only reason I go here sometimes is because this location is much much closer to where I live than the one in Rancho. read more

They just reorganized the floor plan. Very similar to RC & WC. I'm still getting used to the layout & finding my favorite stuff. The staff are very nice & helpful. (Some more so than others.) Very poor customer service. Asking an employee to help you find something is like asking a DMV clerk for assistance. Sophie the manager was not happy when I interrupted her while she was putting away a shopping cart of items. How dare I ask her what isle the power tissue flowers are? Then, the cashier gave me a hard time to use a coupon. Strange because I always use a coupon here (as everything is marked up, way up). Sad that I walked out with one two items, sat on the bench in front of their store, and finished my shopping using Amazon. Prime shipping will get me my items in time for my Sunday event, and I got no attitude from my phone. I need to start looking online, prior, to stepping into a store!!! read more

Love this place. The stuff is amazing and so is the staff. Sophia, the assistant manager is the best. I go in quite often and whenever she's there, she helps me find what ever I need. I went in today for a Styrofoam ball and when I asked where it would be located, She didn't even point to where its at, she dropped what she was doing and took me there. Came in today and this Asian worker at the register was not helpful. I was purchasing an item and I told the girl that the item was a different price and then looked at her register said the price was $14.99 I had to tell her to go check because the item was a different price out on the floor this Asian girl then called for someone to look and still didn't give the correct info to look up. Great crafts store. Has a variety of supplies perfect for my nieces and nephews. Glad I came upon them.

Be sure to check your receipt before leaving the store, especially if the cashier had to make a price adjustment in order to give you an advertised sales price. Bought an item that was advertised 50%off but came up a different price on the register. The cashier, in a hurry, gave me the sale price but forgot to override the other price. I didn't notice until I got home and realized that I had been charged twice for the same item. Went back for a refund, tried to explain what happened to another cashier who cut me off since she apparently was also in a hurry. She refunded my money. Got home checked my receipt again and realized that it was short $3. If the cashier would have taken the time to listen to what I was saying, I would have gotten the correct amount. I won't even bother to drive back to the store a third time, but I'll be sure to carefully review my receipts from now on. read more

The staff has always been extremely helpful; directing me to whatever it is I'm looking for and suggesting other items, as well. The store itself is clean and well stocked, and the customer service is friendly enough. My complaint comes down to their price points. Everyone knows that you can easily get a 40% of coupon (the website has it on the front page and all you need to do is present your smartphone). The issue is that their products are so massively marked up that typically the 40% off coupon just brings it in line with the fair market price elsewhere. The other day I went to purchase a product listed for sale on Amazon with free next day shipping for $70. Michael's wants $229, and that isn't a typo! Even with the coupon the product would still be $150, or 2x the price of ordering it online with next day arrival. I inquired about price matching, showed the manager the discrepancy, and the reply was simply "No, we don't do that". Shop around. read more
