Customer service is lacking. Not very friendly. Don't expect a smile or welcoming greeting. They just want to get you in and out. If you order chow mein noodles expect them to be dried out, under cooked and clumped together. The stir fried veggies are soggy and bland. They must use the cheapest most generic cut of meat, it's bland, paper thin and dry like beef jerky! Steamed rice is mostly under cooked and dry. Prices for their meals are extremely expensive for the low quality of their products. We do like their bottled teriyaki sauce which we buy to use at home. Only problem is the bottle doesn't have a product label. No use by date or expiration date. We used to like this place but the quality of food has really decreased in the last few years. Firstly, you MUST place your order online as they will not answer the phone. This irritated me because now I get to receive spam from Toast or whatever app they're using. I am not from here and am traveling through in our RV so I wanted to call to speak to someone to ask a question. Secondly, DON'T just DON'T!!! We spent $35 for a "spicy" chicken teriyaki (spicy = sweet/vinegary) beef/pork teriyaki, and potstickers a/k/a gyoza. The sauce they give you for the potstickers is not the traditional sauce for gyoza so that was strange but unfortunately this was my favorite part of my meal. They don't give you enough sauce to put on your meal. The meat (beef/pork) was so dry and clearly cheap meat. What a waste. Oh and they give you some weird cabbage salad which at first glance you may think is coleslaw but no, it is cabbage. I HATE cabbage. I would NEVER come back here. read more

Pretty sure this may be the only teriyaki place in about an hours drive. Moving to the PNW from Texas I have come to appreciate these types of restaurants as we didn't have this in the Texas area I grew up in. We both got chicken teriyaki. His was Hawaiian and mine chicken breast. I got noodles and he got veggies. Plus egg rolls. All were tasty. I would recommend!! 10/10 read more

This was just awful. I ordered online and received a specified pick up time. When I arrived they hadn't even started on my food. My sister was with me and ordered at the counter when I arrived. Her food was ready long before mine was, we ordered some of the same food but her order was for more people. The person at the counter snapped at me and told me they were busy, which I understand, that's why I ordered and came only when I was told the order would be ready. I should be able to count on that, if you offer online ordering, don't get upset when people use it. When I finally got my food it was COLD. Yes, I waited almost an hour to receive food that was cold. This was my first, and absolutely last, time going here. The flavor, even without the temperature problems, was very bland. read more

I ordered the chicken teriyaki with fried rice, veggies & extra meat online. Mushy rice, wasn't even fried. The mushy rice was drenched in teriyaki sauce, chicken was not. The portion was small. They didn't even fill the whole styrofoam container. One whole area was just empty. Seriously? 1/4 of the of the container is empty who even does that? 1 other corner has a small scoop of cabbage. I'm writing this review an hour after eating the chicken teriyaki and my stomach is growling bc I'm still left hungry. The amount of chicken was less than half of what I would expect after so many years of ordering teriyaki. Things have changed quite a bit in the past 16 years or so but they keep the restaurant looking fresh and in character. Normally I would give two stars but for friendly service I decided to add one more. Fried rice is okay, vegetables sometimes are good, chicken needs more spices and seasonings, noodles suck, and egg rolls taste better. Sometimes I want to go behind the counter and season the food myself since it seems like all they use is teriyaki sauce to cook (no pepper, garlic, onion, lemon). Cute place right off the main road. Parking is a bit of struggle as there is only street parking. We walked in here on a Friday night right before closing, so parking wasn't too bad for us. The interior is very spacious with lots of tables seats to eat. We had the chicken Katsu, which was cooked to perfection. The outside was crispy and the inside nice and juicy. The Katsu dipping sauce was nice and thick and hearty. Perfect combination of ingredients to compliment the chicken. We were so hungry and excited for our chicken Katsu, we failed to take any pics. I love me some teriyaki rice bowl type places and this place was pretty good. I was working in the area and decided to try it out. They didn't have any conventional type parking but parking on the street was no problem. I ordered the steak and shrimp and it was a good portion size for the price. We stopped her on our way home from Spokane to Olympia. We wanted something other than traditional fast food and looked on yelp and found this place. It was easy enough to find off the freeway. The atmosphere is very hip, open, minimalist, and clean. The guy who took our order was very brusque and unfriendly. I wasn't impressed with that but we came for the food so whatevs. The food was pretty good, it was average teriyaki nothing less nothing more. The meat portion was on the smaller side and I thought the prices were on the higher side for what you got. The thing I DID NOT like, and I am not even a serious greener, is they use take out containers to serve food in, even if you are eating in. This seems SO wasteful. I get that they dont want to do dishes but seriously? That is a lot of trash thrown back into the ground and I just didnt like that. read more

The inconsistency of this restaurant is really disappointing. The food is great if they can give you what you actually ordered. I will never order from this restaurant again. You walk in and you see all the employees just laughing and giggling and messing around and none of them are taking anything seriously so that tells me right there what kind of establishment this is. I ordered today and they messed up the order severely. Very disappointing! And then when you add the two dollars for extra meat you don't even get any extra meat. I don't know who's running this place but the GM probably should be fired and find a new job. The employees run around rampant like it's just a big joke and a game to them.
